Mrs. Winnie M. Davidson
Mrs. Winnie M. Davidson, 87, of Kunkletown R.4, died Saturday, June 7, in the Palmerton Hospital. She was the widow of Allen O. Davidson.
Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Borger) Youngkin.
She was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville.
Surviving are a son, Carl A. of Kunkletown R.4; a brother Samuel of Kresgeville; two granddaughters and four great-granddaughters.
Henry E. Faust Sr.
Henry E. Faust Sr., 86, of Locust Valley, Barnesville, died Wednesday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Stride) Faust.
He was a retired employee of the Reading Railroad.
Born in Locust Valley, he was a son of the late Albert and Susan (Dietrich) Faust.
He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Locust Valley, the Rush-Ryan-Delano Senior Citizens and the former Lakeside Grange.
Faust was a life member of the Ryan Township Fire Company and the P.O.S. of A.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Henry Jr. of Lehighton and Charles in Connecticut; a daughter Marguerite, wife of Robert Guers of Orwigsburg; a brother John of Locust Valley; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Smulligan; and three brothers, Roy, George and Irvin.

Edwin W. Reese
Edwin W. Reese, 64, of 3946 Cedar Driove, Walnutport, died Wednesday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Elinor J. (Williams) Reese. They would have observed their 45th wedding anniversary this month.
He was a truck driver for Haas Trucking, Slatedale, for seven years before retiring in 1995, and previously had worked in that capacity for the former Matlack Trucking, Northampton, for 20 years.
Born in Bristol, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Edgar A. and Lillian R. (Klinger) Reese.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Nesquehoning.
Reese was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two daughters, Dawn L., wife of Terry Weaver of Northampton, and Pemalla J., wife of Barry Kromer of Freeland; two brothers, William A. and George N., and two sisters, Ruth B. Palumbo and Fay A., wife of Gordon Souders, all of Walnutport; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Anne M. Hanke
Mrs. Anne M. Hanke, 71, of 230 Main St., rear, Slatington, died Wednesday in her home. She was the widow of Carl B. Hankee.
Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late William Sr. and Ellen (Williams) Edwards.
She was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, Slatington, where she was a former consistory member and Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Hanke was a member of the Slatington Senior Citizens and Hose Company No. 1Auxiliary, Slatington, and a past president of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post Auxiliary, also of Slatington.
Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Bruce W. of Quarryville, Lancaster County, and Scott D. of Slatington; a daughter, Carol E. of Palmerton; and a brother Walter and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Ibbotson and Ruth, wife of Carl Muthard, all of Slatington; and 10 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert C., who died in 1994.

Mrs. Esther M. Lahovski
Mrs. Esther M. Lahovski, 82, formerly of Northampton, died Thursday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the widow of Joseph F. Lahovski.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former Clyde Shirt Company, Northampton, for 22 years before retiring in 1975. During World War II, she was a welder for Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Primasz) Safeldi.
She was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, Northampton.
Surviving are a daughter, Esther J., wife of Donald Gorsky of Lehighton; two sons, Frederick J. of Laureldale, Berks County, and Thomas J. of Allentown; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Agnes T. Domanski
Mrs. Agnes Theresa Domanski, 71, of 125 Pitt St., Tamaqua, died Thursday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Edward Domanski, who died in 1986.
She was a medical secretary for Dr. Thomas Malishaucki, formerly of Tamaqua, for 18 years before retiring.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine M. (Lore) Gregitis.
She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
There are no immediate survivors.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Myers.

John S. Steiner
John S. "Beano" Steiner, 69, of 4278 Hawthorne Road, Walnutport, died Tuesday in his home.
He was a forklift operator for Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for 25 years before retiring in 1989.
Steiner was also the owner and operator of Steiner's Auto Center, Walnutport, for 30 years until retiring last year.
In the 1960s, he was a crane operator for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, and, in the 1970s, he worked on the family farm.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late John and Frances (Yanni) Steiner.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.
Steiner was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He belonged to the United Auto Workers.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela F. and Lisa F., both at home; and a sister, Frances Schmalzel of Lehighton.
Mrs. Ethel M. Oeskovic
Mrs. Ethel M. Osekovic, 81, of Dunellen, N.J., formerly of Plainfield, N.J., died Wednesday in the Robert Wood Johnston Medical Center in New Jersey. She was the widow of Paul Oeskovic, who died in 1987.
She was a supervisor for Azo Plate, Bridgewater, N.J., for 17 years before retiring in 1981.
Born in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Tredinnick.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunellen.
Surviving are three sons, Gerald and David, both of Dunellen, and Thomas of Farmers Branch, Tex.; two daughters, Rita Lee of Middlesex, N.J., and Mary Jane Johnson of Somerset, N.J.; a sister, Elva Searfoss of Allentown; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronald, who died in 1985, and Paul, who died in 1987; two sisters, Olive and Myra; and three brothers, Roland, Russell and Sam.
Mrs. Mary M. Mears
Mrs. Mary M. "Molly" Mears, 71, of 107 E. Blaine St., McAdoo, died Wednesday in the Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the widow of Edward Mears.
She was employed by Boyer's Food Market and the Standard Drug Store, both of McAdoo. She was also a retired clerk for the former O'Lear's Catering Service and Scrafford's Inn in Hometown, Tamaqua R.2.
Born in McAdoo, she was a daughter of the late William and Priscilla (Burns) McGee.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, McAdoo.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel of Tresckow and William and John, both of McAdoo; a brother John of Weatherly; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother William.
Mrs. Julia Hribb
Mrs. Julia Hribb, 81, of 127 W. Columbus Ave., Nesquehoning, died Wednesday evening in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hoispital, Lehighton. She was the widow of John Hribb, who died in 1985.
Born in McAdoo, she was a daughter of the late George and Theodosia (Matushesky) Tomashosky.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Nesquehoning, and the ACRY of the church.
Surviving are a brother, Andrew Thomas of Parma, Ohio; a sister Anna, wife of Paul Medvitz of McAdoo; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, John, Peter, Michael and George; and two sisters, Rose Razes and Mary Kalena.

Miss A. Elizabeth Oschman, 83, of 401 University Ave., Schuylkill Haven, died Wednesday in the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Baltzer and Fannie (Jones) Oschman.
She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua.
Surviving is a brother William of Tamaqua.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Mary O. Seligman and Florence C. Oschman.

James M. Hoffman
James M. Hoffman, 72, of Andreas, died Saturday evening at the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Constance M. (Clements) Hoffman. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in February.
He had been employed at the Andreas Stone and Sand Company for more than 40 years until his retirement.
Born in Andreas, he was a son of the late Silas and Irene (Rex) Hoffman.
He served with the Army during World War II, serving with Patton's Third Army, Fourth Armored Division in Europe and was the receipient of several Purple Hearts and commandations.
Surviving with his wife is a son, James A. of Lehighton; two daughters, Peggy, wife of Robert F. Marasiak Sr. of Parryville, and Janice A. Hoffman, with whom he resided; three brothers, John and Paul, both of Andreas, and Jacob of Palatka, Fla.; two sisters, Bertha Hoffman of Andreas, and Mrs. Helen Beck of Lehighton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and five step great-great-grandchildren.

Barry E. Breiner
Barry E. Breiner, 51, of 172 Spruce St., Tamaqua, died unexpectedly Monday in his home.
He was employed by Hartz Metals, Tamaqua.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Ethel (Ferryman) Willing of Tamaqua and the late Kenneth F. Breiner.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during the Vietnam War.
Breiner was a member of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, Tamaqua, and graduated from Tamaqua Area High School in 1963.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth J. and a daughter, Kimberly A., both of Tamaqua; three brothers, Bruce F. and Michael D., both of Tamaqua, and Kenneth F. of Orland Hills, Ill.
