S. Hilton Stellfox
S. Hilton Stellfox, 86, of Tamaqua R.1, died Tuesday in the Geriatric Center at Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale.
Prior to retiring in 1985, he had been self-employed, owning the Stellfox Brothers Fuel Oil and Coal Delivery Service, Tamaqua. He had previously been partners with Robert Erbe in the Erbe-Stellfox Service Station, Tamaqua.
Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late George T. and Frances M. (Mucklow) Stellfox.
He was a member of Primitive Methodist Church, Tamaqua.
The last immediate member of his family, he is survived by a nephew, Ronald Stellfox, with whom he resided; and an additional nephew and niece.

Mrs. Horace L. Dorshimer
Mrs. Florence A. Dorshimer, 81, of 321 Held St., Lehighton, died Thursday in her home. She was the wife of Horace L. Dorshimer. They were married 54 years in April.
Born in Saylorsburg, she was a daughter of the late Anna Siegel.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weissport, and its Ladies Aid Association.
She was a graduate of Churchman's Business School, Easton.
Surviving with her husband is a son, Neil A. of Lehighton; a daughter, Gail I., wife of James Robinson of Des Moines, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

Lewis H. Parker
Lewis H. Parker, 78, of W. Applegate Ave., Pen Argyl, died Thursday in Slate Belt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bangor R.1. He was the husband of Joyce H. (Hendershot) Parker. They were married 56 years last month.
He was a machine operator at Ingersoll-Rand Co., Phillipsburg, before retiring in 1984.
Born in East Mauch Chunk, he was a son of the late Carman D. and Elsie (Smoyer) Parker.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion of Wind Gap.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters and a sister.
Mrs. Martine H. Hahn
Mrs. Martine M. Hahn, 87, of Sidon Street, Orlando, Fla., died Wednesday.
She was born in Pennsylvania, and worked as a registered nurse until she retired.
She moved to Central Florida in 1970 after living in Holiday, Fla. She was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving is a son, Norman R. of Orlando, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Harold W. Roth
Harold W. Roth, 82, of Old Mill Road, Slatington, died Monday in his home. He was the husband of Bernice L. (Peters) Roth. They observed their 60th wedding anniversary in February.
He was a rigger in the combustion department of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 40 years before retiring in 1977.
Born in Rextown, Washington Township, he was a son of the late Howard and Hattie (Wanamaker) Roth.
He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Slatington.
Roth was a past president of the Star Hose Company, Emerald, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Slatington.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Linde L. of Slatington; a daughter Janice, wife of Joe Trancoso of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Dallas of Slatington and Ronald of Orefield; two sisters, Elaine of Slatington and DeToisia, wife of Edwin Hauser of Palmerton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Earl G. Drasher
Earl G. "Goldie" Drasher, 77, of 19 Jenkins Ave., Pennsville, N.J., died Saturday in his home after several months of illness. He was the husband of Margaret M. (Minnick) Drasher. They were married for 50 years.
Before retiring in 1977, he was an inspector in the miscellaneous stores of the DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater, N.J., for 38 years.
Born in Weatherly, he was a son of the late Charles and Elsie (Faust) Drasher, and was a longtime Pennsville resident.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the European, African and Middle Eastern theaters of operation. He was a member of the DuPoint Veterans Association.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two daughters, Margaret L. Marshall and Donna Lynn Spears, both of Pennsville; a brother Marvin of Weatherly; a sister, Muriel Barry of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two granddaughters.
Nicholas Pina
Nicholas "Herbie" Pina, 90, of 72 E. Oak St., Tresckow, died Wednesday evening at the home of his daughter, Agnes, wife of James Frey, 909 McNair St., Hazleton, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Anna (Pero) Pina, who died in 1993.
Born in Austria, he was the son of the late Harry and Agatha (Pennock) Pina. He was the oldest resident of Tresckow.
He was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo.
He was a Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving with his daughter is a sister, Mary Mazar in Austria; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
Charles J. Barthel
Charles J. Barthel, 77, of 120 Valley St., Brockton, died Thursday morning in Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of Anna E. (Anderson) Barthel.
Prior to retiring in 1977, he had been employexd by Alcoa Aluminum, Cressona, having worked there for almost 29 years.
Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Tydvil M. (Jones) Barthel.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Middleport, he was a graduate of the former Blythe Township High School. He was also a member of the Tamaqua American Legion, C.H. Berry Post 173, and the Alcoa 25 Year Club.
Surviving with his widow is a daughter, Linda, wife of Lawrence Whetstone of Brockton; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Zeigler of Middleport, Mrs. Jane Hetrick of Marietta, Ga., and Mrs. Kathryn Decindio of Brockton; two brothers, Allen of Philadelphia, and Joseph of South Plainfield, N.J.; and one granddaughter.

Mrs. Charles Wharen
Mrs. Gloria L. Wharen, 61, of Barnesville R.1, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Charles Wharen.
Prior to retiring in 1991, she had been employed by the National Aerospace and Science Administration, working on the SolarMax Mission.
Born in New Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Sara M. (Winter) Lutz.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Ruth, wife of Barry Mitchell of Tamaqua, and Mary Elizabeth Brown of Reisterstown, Md.; a brother, Darryl of Glennburnie, Md.; and four grandchildren.

Joseph P. Gerhart
Joseph P. Gerhart, 73, of Woodbridge, N.J., died Aug. 13 in the Christ Hospital, Jersey City, N.J. He was the husband of Florence (Jachowicz) Gerhart. They observed their 51st wedding anniversary in February.
He was a maintenance worker for the U.S. Postal Service in Secaucus, N.J., for 10 years before retiring in 1985, and previously was employed by the former New Jersey Zinc Company, Palmerton, and the Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late John and Pauline (Sucha) Gerhart.
He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Woodbridge, N.J.
Gerhart was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Patricia Pucciarello of Colonia, N.J.; two sons, Richard of Jamesburg, N.J., and Joseph of Spotswood, N.J.; six sisters, Philomena Marouchoc and Anna Skodacek, both of Nesquehoning, Mary Ann Chedrick of Tresckow, Pauline Brickler of Cherryville, Catherine Gergovich of Walnutport and Helen Ratz of Jim Thorpe; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Edna M. Peters
Mrs. Edna M. Peters, 91, of 550 Main St., Slatington, formerly of 12 North St., Slatington, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Williams J. Peters Sr.
She was a housekeeper for Dr. and Mrs. George W. Heintzelman, Neffs, for 35 years before retiring in 1982.
Born in Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late George F.S. and Emma M. (Billig) Blose.
She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, and a member and past sentinel of the Slatington Chapter No. 458, Order of Eastern Star, for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Carl W. of Slatington and William J. Jr. of Northampton; two daughters, Pauline E. Kressler of Allentown and Dorothea, wife of Roy H. Horn of Slatington; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Carolyn M. Farber, who died in February, and Ruth B. Edwards.
Mrs. Jack Seidof
Mrs. Erika Seidof, 69, of Kunkletown R.5, formerly of Edison, N.J., died Monday in the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Jack Seidof. They observed their 21st wedding anniversary last month.
Born in Berlin, Germany, she was a beautician in New Jersey for 37 years before retiring in 1991, having last owned her own business, Cover Girl Salon, in Metuchen, N.J., for eight years.
She was a member of Christ Hamilton Lutheran Church, Hamilton Square.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Frederick Dobbs Jr. of Edison; two daughters, Katherine Sammarco of Edison and Susan Morise of Martins Creek; two brothers, Gunther and Wolfgang Kline, both of Berlin; and two grandchildren.

Luther L. Lorah
Luther L. Lorah, 83, of Whitehall Township, died Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of Mary (Clarke) Lorah. They observed their 59th wedding anniversary in June.
He was a truck driver for Makovsky Brothers, Cementon, for many years before retiring in 1975.
Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Amandus and Kate Lorah.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, and a founder, life member and firefighter for the Hokendauqua Volunteer Fire Company.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Larry of Walnutport and Kevin of Whitehall; two daughters, Phyllis, wife of Edward Jacksits of North Catasauqua, and Sandra, wife of Rocco Spagnoletti of Whitehall; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Green of Allentown, Elizabeth, wife of Price Davis of Center Valley, and Mrs. Beulah Malia in California; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
William M. Hrabina Sr.
William M. Hrabina Sr., 74, of Quakertown, died Tuesday in the LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Township. He was the husband of the late Jennie K. (Wogotz) Hrabina.
He worked in the maintenance department of U.S. Gauge, Ametek Division, Sellersville, before retiring in 1988.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Stephen and Anna Hrabina.
He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, the American Legion Post and the Knights of Columbus, Cardinal Stitch Council No. 4649, all of Quakertown.
Hrabina was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a son, William M. Jr. of East Greenville; two daughters, Elaine, wife of John Higgins of Quakertown, and Kathleen, wife of Daniel Takerer of Germansville; a brother Edward of Quakertown; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Ambrose E. Warner
Ambrose, E. Warner, 81, a guest at Manor Care Home in Lebanon, died there Monday evening.
Prior to his retirement, he was an officer at Lebanon Valley Bank in Schaefferstown and president of the Bank of Hanover.
Born in Weatherly, he was a son of the late Stanley and Verna (Snell) Warner.
He was a member of St. Stephen's UCC in Lebanon.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the 34th Infantry Division and saw action in the liberation of the Phillipines and received the Purple Heart.
Surviving are a son, Stanley F. of Farmville, Va.; two daughters, Shirley A. Sherman of Lebanon, and Brenda J. Kessler of Gathersburg, Md.; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy S., a pilot who was killed in action during World War II.
