Mrs. Mary L. Kellner
Mrs. Mary L. Kellner, 73, of Belvedere, N.J., died Saturday in her home. She was the wife of George E. Kellner. They observed their 49th wedding anniversary in April.
She was a registered nurse for Belvedere and a substitute nurse in its school system for 20 years before retiring in 1980. Previously, she worked at the former Coaldale State General Hospital and Belvedere Head Start and was a health inspector and member of the Belvidere Board of Health.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Krell) Middleton.
She was a member of the Belivdere United Methodist Church, where she was a former choir member.
The deceased was a 1945 graduate of the Reading School of Nursing and attended Trenton State College in New Jersey.
She was a member of the Warren County (N.J.) Red Cross, a past coordinator of its Blood Mobile and a former Girl Scout leader in Belvidere.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Edward G. of Moscow, Lackawanna County; three daughters, Mary E. VanHorn of Delaware, N.J., Susan J. Hengst of Belvidere and Deborah A. Mamrak of Harmony Township, N.J.; a brother James of Tamaqua; and 11 grandchildren.
Mrs. Ruth E. Horn
Mrs. Ruth E. Horn, 73, formerly of Slatington R.2, died Saturday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the widow of Willard F. Horn.
Born in Germansville, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Beulah (Schlosser) Kistler.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale, and the Slatedale Fire Company and its auxiliary.
Surviving are four sons, Richard A. and Lynn E., both of Slatington, Larry L. in Washington and Harold J. of Slatedale; a daughter, Peggy L., wife of David R. Mankos of Slatington; a brother, Ray T. of Germansville; 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
William W. Dovico
William W. Dovico, 48, of Levittown, Montgomery County, died Thursday in his home of acute cardiac arrhythmia.
He was a meteorologist for the National Weather Service at Mount Holly, N.J., and previously had worked in the same capacity at the Lehigh Valley International Airport until last year. He supplied meteorological information to area newspapers, including the TIMES NEWS, radio stations and television stations.
Dovico was a 1978 graduate of Pennsylvania State University and a member of its branch of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Service.
He was also a meteorological consultant and expert witness in legal proceedings and participated in research projects at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Michael David Barr
Michael David Barr, 50, of Allentown, formerly of Slatedale, died Sunday in his home. He was the husband of Barbara B. (Bonstein) Barr. They observed their 30th wedding anniversary in April.
He was a furniture repairman for Bon-Ton, Allentown, for the past 32 years.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was a son of C. Elaine (Bickerton) Barr, with whom he resided, and the late William L. Barr.
He was a member of Christ Methodist Church, Salisbury Township.
Barr was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a major in the 26th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (Civil War re-enactors), Philadelphia.
Surviving in addition to his widow and mother are a daughter, Michele D., wife of Peter Rapnikas of Joliett, Ill.; two brothers, Stephen A., at home, and Timothy A. of Allentown; a sister, Linda C., wife of Randall L. Kells of Yardley, Bucks County; and a granddaughter.
Mrs. Emily M. Rader
Mrs. Emily M. Rader, 83, of 515 Third St., Palmerton, died Saturday in the Palmerton Hospital. She wife of the late Harvey S. Rader.
Born in Bowmanstown, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Dengler) Schremp.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmerton.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald G. Berger of Palmerton and Barry L. Berger of Slatington; a sister, Victoria Hill of Weissport; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dolores Ungaretta.

Mrs. Ralph C. Henshaw
Mrs. C. Lucille Henshaw, 72, of Palmer Township, died Sunday in the Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Ralph C. Henshaw. They observed their 52nd wedding anniversary last December.
She was a jewelry buyer for the former Orr's of Easton before retiring in 1976, and previously was an operator for the former Bell Telephone Company in the Scranton and Pocono areas.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Anastasia (Healy) Decker.
She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Wilson, its Holy Rosary Society, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Daughters of Fatima.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Arthur T. of Riva, Md., Robert D. of Bethlehem and James R. of Allentown; three daughters, Marjorie J. Calandra of Palmerton and Catherine M. and Jean A., both at home; a sister, Anna Jennings of Scranton; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Paulino A.Suarez
Paulino A. Suarez, 64, of 2275 Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, died Saturday in his home. He was the husband of Carol A. (Berdine) Suarez.
He was a roller for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
Born in DePue, Ill., he was a son of the late Angel and Aracelli (Suarez) Suarez.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.
Suarez served in Korea with the U.S. Army and was a past commander of the V.F.W. Post, Palmerton.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Stephen M. of Coplay; two daughters, Angela M. and Julie Ann, both at home; a stepson, Jay M. Weston of Lawrenceville, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Sheri L. Owens of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Conchita, wife of Walter Glover, and Louise L. Damico, both of Allentown, and Margerita, wife of Lester Bass of Palmerton; and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Salazar and Lydia; and a brother Manuel.

Levering infant
Jennifer R. Levering, one-day-old daughter of Kermit J. and Mary K. (Shipwash) Levering of 415 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, died Friday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
She was born in Lehighton.
Surviving in addition to her parents are grandparents, Randolph C. and Rebecca S. Shipwash of Palmerton; great-grandparents, Frederick D. and Ingeborg H. Shipwash of Walnutport; great-grandfather, Billy J. Ates, and step-great-grandmother, Toni Ates, both of Caboola, Mo.; great-grandmother, Mary E. Ates of Corunna, Mi.; foster great-great-grandmother, Grace K. Stewart of Arlington, Tex.; foster great-grandmother, Norma K. Nunley of Fort Worth, Tex.; grandparents, John and Jeanie Levering of Palmerton; and great-grandmother, Laura Roth of Orefield.
Marion Bizarre
Marion Bizarre, 61, of Packer Township, Weatherly R.1, died Sunday morning in her home.
Prior to her illness, she was a dietary worker in the kitchen at Weatherwood, Weatherly.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Abrams) Smith.
She was a member of the Church of England and had been affiliated with St. Matthew United Church of Christ, Weatherly R.1.
Surviving are two sons, John Jr. and Dean, both of Weatherly R.1; a daughter, Paula Hughes of Weatherly; a sister, Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Hill of Birmingham, England; four grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Raymond.

Mrs. Lillian M. Steigerwalt
Mrs. Lillian M. Steigerwalt, 86, of Weatherwood, Weatherly, formerly of Lehighton and Orefield, died Monday in the home. She was the widow of Burdell D. Steigerwalt.
She was a laborer for the former Trexler Orchards, Orefield, for 20 years before retiring in 1965.
Born in East Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Washington and Ida E. (Trine) Steigerwalt.
Surviving are five daughters, Ethel J. Hill and Nancy F., wfe of Robert F. Spangler, both of Lehighton, Sandra F., wife of Robert J. Simock, and Judith D., wife of Raymond J. Kiser, both of Orefield, and Patricia A., wife of Laverne S. Hunsicker of Germansville; a sister, Gladys Beblavy of Lehighton; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Edwin C. and Richard S.

Mrs. Ardella M. Nothstein, 78, of 140 E. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, died Monday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Thomas F. Nothstein.
Born in Manns Choice, Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Emma (McVicker) Crissey.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Summit Hill.
Surviving are two sons, Larry of Dover, York County, and Ronald of Tamaqua R.1; a sister Mae, wife of Oliver Nothstein of Summit Hill; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Blair and George A.

Anna Payaryis
Anna Payaryis, 87, of Nesquehoning R.1, formerly of New Jersey, died Sunday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale.
Born in Tuscarora, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Agatha Payaryis, and had lived in New Jersey for 40 years before moving to Nesquehoning 20 years ago.
She was a member of St. Bertha Catholic Church, Tuscarora.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Pauline, Julie, Eva and Helen; and a brother William.

Mrs. Marion Werner
Mrs. Marion Werner, 72, of 415 Forrest Inn Road, Lehighton, died Monday in her home. She was the widow of Paul Werner.
She was a folder for the Lincoln Textile Company, Nazareth, for many years before retiring.
Born in Bushkill Township, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Eva Smith.
Surviving are a companion, Alfred Wunderler, with whom she resided; a daughter, Pauline Handlovich of Pen Argyl; a son Paul of Easton; two sisters, Sadie Scott of Tatamy and Hilda Boyer of Catasauqua; two brothers, Russell of Lower Nazareth Township and Lester of Nazareth; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Anna I. Ruhe
Mrs. Anna I. Ruhe, 88, formerly of New Tripoli, died Friday in the Lehigh Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lower Macungie Township. She was the widow of Howard A. Ruhe Sr.
Born in Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Isabelle (Reed) Romig.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Seiberlingsville.
Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Wisser of Slatington; two sons, Howard A. Jr. of Allentown and Allen W. of New Tripoli; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Leslie D. Strickler
Mrs. Leslie D. Strickler, 87, of New Tripoli, died Friday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Leslie D. Strickler and the widow of Nevin Dietrich. She and her second husband observed their sixth wedding anniversary in June.
Born in Lynn Township, she was a daughter of the late Mathias and Ellen (Werley) Oldt.
She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run.
Surviving in addition to her husband are nieces and nephews.
