Mrs. Henry Beller
Mrs. Hilda Beller, 86, formerly of Allentown, died Tuesday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of Henry Beller. They would have been married 43 years on Wednesday.
She was also the widow of Thomas Schmidt.
Born in Walnutport, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Kuntz) Quinn.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Thomas Schmidt of Warminster, Bucks County, and Albert Schmidt of Scranton; a daughter Dolores, wife of John Fahrman of Allentown; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Schmidt.
Andrew F. Husack
Andrew F. "Andy" Husack, 69, of Rextown Road, Slatington, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He worked at Fairmount Foundry, Hamburg, for five years before retiring in 1991 and previously had been employed by the former Dieter's Foundry, Cherryville, for 40 years.
Born in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Anthony and Anne (Schumada) Husack.
He was a member of St. Vladimir Greek Catholic Church, Palmerton.
The deceased was a former member of the Slatedale-Emerald Lions Club.
Surviving are a brother George of Schnecksville; and a sister, Mary Hartzell of Slatington.
Hugh R. Koehler
Hugh R. Koehler, 68, of 1931 Wabank Road, Lancaster, died Wednesday in his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Doris (Van Horne) Koehler.
He retired in 1985 after teaching physical education for 13 years at Edward Hand and 20 years at Wheatland Junior High School, both of Lancaster.
Born in Weatherly, she was a son of the late Russell and Kathryn (Sturtevant) Koehler, and had lived in Lancaster since 1953.
He was past president of the Lancaster Physical Education Association, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Weatherly, and a former member of the Millersville Borough Council.
Kohler started the football team at Wheatland Junior High School in 1972.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Richard of Lancaster; two daughters, Cynthia K. Silfies of Mt. Joy and Mrs. Jeffrey L. (Barbra J.) McMullen of Conestoga; three brothers, John S. and Robert S., both of Weatherly, and Kurt W. of Lancaster; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Thomas A. Falatko Sr.
Thomas A. "Lefty" Falatko Sr. of 1156 Ridge St., Freeland, died Tuesday evening in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was a pumpman for the Jeddo Highland Coal Company before retiring.
Born in Eckley, he was a son of the late Clifford and Susan (Zawsky) Falatko.
He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Chruch and the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts, all of Freeland; and the Jeddo Stars Athletic Association.
Falatko was a Navy veteran, serving from 1945-46, and also served in the Army, from 1951-56.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Jr. and David, both of Freeland; two daughters, Elaine, wife of Kevin Carr of Manahawkin, N.J., and Ann, wife of Anthony Saullo of Freeland; a brother Francis of Freeland; three sisters, Mary Ferko of Freeland, Mrs. Francis (Sophia) Raynock of Weatherly and Mrs. Phillip (Elaine) Greco of Hazleton; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Edward M. Cauley
Edward M. Cauley, 94, of Delano, Schuylkill County, died Thursday in morning at the Manor Care Nursing Center, Sinking Spring, Berks County.

Charles W. Walp
Charles W. Walp, 73, of Allentown, died Tuesday in Lehigh Manor, Lower Macungie Township. He was the husband of Pauline G. (Poole) Walp. They observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in May.
He was a truck driver for the B.P. Oil Company, Macungie, for 35 years before retiring in 1984.
Born in West Nanticoke, Luzerne County, he was a son of the late Arif and Harriet (Vandermark) Walp.
He was a member of the Church on the Move, Allentown.
Walp was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Nanticoke Masonic Lodge No. 541.
Surviving in addition to his widow are three sons, Lawrence C. of Bath, Keith H. of Cetronia and Lloyd L. of Slatington; and six grandchildren.
Joseph P. Caputo Sr.
Joseph P. Caputo Sr., 64, of 308 W. Abbott St., Lansford, died Monday in the Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of Evelyn (Prekopa) Caputo.
A member of the International Laborers Union of North America, he was a construction worker for the James D. Morrissey Company, Bethlehem.
Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Angelo and Mary (McColligan) Caputo.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving in addition to his widow are three sons, Joseph Jr., Glenn and Mark, all of Lansford; two daughters, Linda of Lansford and Carol, wife of Steve Matalavage of Tamaqua; two brothers, Robert and Angelo, both of Tamaqua; two sisters, Marlene, wife of Joseph Rimm of Tamaqua, and Jean Herrington of Scranton; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Joseph Skrapits Jr., 79, of South Mountain, Franklin County, formerly of Walnutport, died Tuesday in the Waynesboro Hospital, Franklin County.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Jurasits) Skrapits.
Surviving are a brother, Frank S. of Walnutport; and nieces and nephews.
Charles D. Frantz
Charles D. Frantz, 78, of Lehighton, died Tuesday in the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Beverly M. (Klotz) Frantz. They observed their 16th wedding anniversary this month.
He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 37 years before retiring in 1985.
Born in Kunkletown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Bessie (Meckes) Frantz.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Frantz was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two brothers, Allen and Richard, both of Kunkletown R.3; two sisters, Mary Gower of Kresgeville and Annabelle; a stepdaughter, Donna Swatt of Lehighton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Kevin D. George
Kevin D. George, 36, of 1163 Hazard Road, Palmerton, died Monday in a tractor accident at Beck's Tree Farm, Lehigh Township, Northampton County, where he was employed.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Kathleen (Frantz) Silfies of Palmerton and the late Ralph Silfies. He was an adopted son of Merritt D. and Virginia (Smale) George of Palmerton.
The deceased was a member of Faith Reformed Church, Walnutport.
Surviving in addition to his mother and adoptive parents are a companion, Sharon Hosier, with whom he resided; a daughter Dorrin of Palmerton; a sister Marie, wife of Dale Burger of Kunkletown; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Naomi George of Palmerton; and two stepsons, Robert and Jeremy Hosier, and a stepdaughter, Jessica Hosier, all at home.

Mrs. Margaret E. Uhl
Mrs. Margaret U. Uhl, 85, of 837 N. Lynn St., Bethlehem, died Tuesday in the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Gustave J. Uhl.
She worked for the former Hess's department store, Allentown, many years ago.
Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Gerhart) Hanus.
She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Surviving are two sons, Mark of York and Richard of Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Deborah and Virginia, and two sisters, Helen Grosh and Mary Koch, all of Bethlehem; and eight grandchildren.
Mary J. Risavy
Mary J. Risavy, of 318 Iron St., Summit Hill, died Tuesday in the Gnaden Huetten Hospital. She was the widow of Imrey Risavy who died in 1967.
Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Wargo) Mitchalk.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Summit Hill.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Lansford; and Kenneth of Philadelphia; three daughters, Geraldine, wife of Roger Troeder of Warminster; Rose Mary Scheeler of Fountain Valley, Calif.; Joan Mascia of Rochester, Mich.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Pavlick and Eleanor Valent, and one brother Joseph.

Risavy additions, services: Mary J. Risavy, of 318 W. Iron St., Summit Hill, who died Tuesday in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Mitchalk, and is survived by nine grandchildren.
An obituary that appeared in Wednesday editions did not contain Mitchalk's name, and listed only eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Risavy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Interment will be in the St. Michael Church Cemetery, Summit Hill. No calling hours are scheduled.

William Kolosky
Coaldale's last WW I survivor, dies at his home at age 101
William Kolosky, 101, of 51 E. High St., Coaldale, the community's last World War I survivor, died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (O'Donnell) Brogan Kolosky.
He was an insurance agent for the Prudential Insurance Company for 45 years before retiring. After retirement, he was an income tax consultant, working out of his home for more than 30 years.
Prior to World War I, he worked in the Coaldale mines.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late John and Agnes (Ratezute) Kolosky.
He was the oldest member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Coaldale.
Kolosky was one of the first altar boys to serve Mass at St. Mary's and also at St. John Lithuanian Catholic Church, Coaldale.
He was an avid vegetable gardener during his retirement years.
Kolosky served with the Army Quartermaster Corps during World War I and was a charter and life member of the Coaldale American Legion Post.
He was a former member of the Coaldale Fire Company, having served for 50 years.
Surviving are two stepgrandsons, five step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a son William; two stepdaughters, Cecilia Brogan and Mary Urban; a brother George; and two sisters, Mary Nedd and Katherine Shearson.
