CONNEAUTVILLE - Marjorie D. Scherer, 78, formerly of 3 New St., Warren, and a resident of Rolling Fields, Conneautville, for the past year, died there Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, following an extended illness.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mark S. Patterson Funeral Home, 101 Prospect, Warren.
The funeral will follow at 1 at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Swanson of Scandia Covenant Church officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

DOTHAN, Ala. - Andrew Joseph (Andy) Kosan, 70, of 2401 Stonebridge Road, Dothan, Ala., died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Columba Catholic Church, with the Rev. Patrick Gallagher as celebrant.
Entombment followed in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Byrd Funeral Home, 3409 W. Main St., Dothan.

Martha Louise Larson, 68, of C2 Jamestown House, Meadville, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at Meadville Medical Center.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, with Monsignor Andrew H. Karg, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial with committal will be in the church cemetery.

Clark E. Smith, 57, of Renrock Drive, Meadville, died quietly Saturday, March 29, 2003, from lung cancer, at Meadville Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. He spent the past two weeks receiving numerous phone calls, visits, cards and prayers from friends and relatives from near and far, which brought him much enjoyment.
A memorial reception will be Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at East Mead Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall, 23876 State Highway 27, Meadville.
Following cremation, burial will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
