MR. EASTON WAS A RETIRED METALLURGICAL ENGINEER WITH LUKENS STEEL IN COATESVILLE, PA. FORMERLY KNOWN AS ALAN WOOD STEEL IN CONSHOHOCKEN, PA.

Mrs. Consiglia (Nee Federico) DiValerio passed away April 27, 2005 at Kindred Central Hospital in Tampa, Florida after a short illness. She is the wife of the late Antonio DiValerio and the mother of Rosinella Coladonato, Giuseppe DiValerio, Ivana Evangelista, and Guido DiValerio. She is the sister of the late Liborio, Francesco, and Guido Federico. Mrs. DiValerio is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mrs. DiValerio grew and lived in her home country of Italy until the age of 44 when she and her family emmigrated to the United States in the year 1961. Mrs. DiValerio settled in Haverford Township and raised her family. She worked as a seamstress for a local dressmaker until she retired in 1972. After the death of Antonio, her husband, she moved from Havertown, Pa. to Tampa, Florida where she continued doing the things she loved, gardening, cooking, and crocheting.
Mrs. DiValerio worked hard and became officially an American citizen in 1991 and voted for the first time in an election. She was very proud of that.
There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm Sunday evening, May1, 2005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 2, 2005 at 10 am in Our Mother of Good Counsel Church in Bryn Mawr. Interment will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Delaware County, Pa..

(nee McNicholl), of Ardmore and formerly Garvagh, County Derry Northern Ireland, on April 29, 2005, beloved wife of the late Albert McCormick, devoted mother of Albert, James, John, Robert McCormick, Rosemary McCaffery, Catherine Anne Smith and the late Thomas McCormick, also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sister of Patsy Marti, also survived by many nieces and nephews in Ireland.

Nels W. "Swede" Anderson, 91 of Penn Wynne, Pa. died Tuesday May 3, 2005 at Lankenau Hospital.
Born September 7, 1913 in Sweden to Hulda and Gustaf A. Anderson. He lived in Sweden until the age of 12 when he and his family emigrated to the United States by way of Ellis Island. They settled in Havertown, Pa. Swede graduated from Haverford High School.
Swede was a Warehouseman for Smith Kline & French. He retired in 1975 after more then 30 years of service.
In 1941 he married Ruth Mayer, they were married for 44 years when she passed away in 1985.
He has lived in Penn Wynne for more then 60 years.
Swede is Chief Emeritus of the Penn Wynne Overbrook Hills Fire Company, where he has been a member for 61 years. He served as Chief from 1957 to 1973.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the Cheese Club in Havertown.
Swede loved his family and being with them. He is the husband of the late Ruth (nee Mayer) Anderson, father of Linnea Cummings (William), Ingrid Picco (Joseph), Signe Mika (Step), grandfather of Kristen Dunn, William Nels Cummings, Jamie Sager, Courtney Mika, Allison Picco, Stephen Picco, Emily Mika and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday in Penn Wynne Presbyterian Church, Overbrook Parkway & Haverford, Rd. Penn Wynne where family and friends may call after 9 AM. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia.

AFTER HIS MILITARY DISCHARGE, GEORGE AND HIS BROTHER, JOHN STECKEL, PROCURED OWNERSHIP OF KAY CEE BEER DISTRIBUTORS IN SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA. GEORGE REMAINED IN THE BEER DISTRIBUTOR PROFESSION FOR THE REST OF HIS CAREER.
SUPPORTING HIS SONS'ACTIVITIES, GEORGE VOLUNTEERED AS ASSISTANT SCOUT MASTER FOR BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, MERWOOD TROOP 144, FROM 1960'S THROUGH THE EARLY 1970'S. (THIS TROOP WAS FOUNDED BY HIS FATHER, GEORGE FELIX STECKEL.)
GEORGE WAS A BOATING ENTHUSIAST AND PARTICIPATED IN THE PROMOTION AND EDUCATION OF THE BOATING COMMUNITY BY VOLUNTEERING AS A MEMBER OF THE COAST GAURD AUXILIARY, FLOTILLA 42, FOR 35 YEARS;ULTIMATELY ACHIEVING RANK OF DIVISION CAPTAIN.
MR. STECKEL IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, MARIAN LITCHERT STECKEL, HIS BROTHER JOHN STECKEL, HIS FIVE SONS, MICHAEL, THOMAS, DONALD.PETER AND JAMES, HIS DAUGHTERS, ELAINE NUSS AND NANCY STECKEL. ALSO SURVIVED BY 9 GRANDCHILDREN AND ONE GREAT GRANDCHILD.

John M. "Jack" Cunningham, 72, of Havertown died Wednesday October 5, 2005 at his daughter's home in Exton, Pa.
Born February 1, 1933 in Bryn Mawr, Pa. to Margaret (nee Higenbotham) and Michael Cunningham. Jack grew up in Bryn Mawr and graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys.
After high school he served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
For the past 45 years Mr. Cunningham has owned and operated the Gladwyne Sunoco/Gladwyne Texaco Station at Youngsford & Conshohocken State Rd, Gladwyne.
He has been a 49 year resident of Havertown, where he and his late wife, Patricia (nee McNicholas), moved after they were married.
Mr. Cunningham is the husband of the late Patricia Cunningham, father of John M. Cunningham, Joseph P. Cunningham, Kathleen M. Rush. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and his sister Anne Austin.
Family and friends may call Friday evening October 7, and Saturday morning October 8, 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, E. Eagle Rd. & St. Denis Lane, Havertown. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 A.M. Saturday October 8 in St. Denis Church, Havertown. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.

EDWARD VINCENT CROWLEY

Edward V. Crowley, 90 of Wynnewood, Pa. died Tuesday October 11, 2005. He has been a resident of Wynnewood for the past 35 years.
Born May 12, 1915 in Philadelphia to Mary (nee Lafferty) and Dennis V. Crowley.
Mr. Crowley is an Army Veteran, serving during World War II.
In 1945 after his discharge from the Army, he went to work for Pennsylvania Railroad as an electrician in the Paoli Shop until his retirement nearly 40 years later.
Also in 1945 he married Kathleen T. Cummings. They were married for 55 years until she passed away in 2000. They were active parishioners of Presentation B.V.M. Parish in Wynnewood. They also belonged to Presentation's Senior Group.
Mr. Crowley is the husband of the late Kathleen T. Crowley, loving father of Kathleen M. Ricci, grandfather of Christopher Otis, Joseph Otis, Cara Gaul and Daniel Ricci, and brother of Veronica Meehan and Sadie Wilson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Monday October 17 in Presentation B.V.M. Church, 204 Haverford Rd, Wynnewood where family and friends may call after 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
