Mrs. Melba M. (Nee Romano) Marioni of Havertown, Pa. passed away July 9, 2003 at Bryn Mawr Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Marioni was predeaceased in May of 2002 by her Husband of 63 years; Albert L. Marioni. She is the loving Mother of Vivian (Joseph) Kochersperger of Upper Darby, Pa., Albert P.(Margaret Annette) Marioni of Tennessee, and Melba J. LaRosa also of Upper Darby, Pa. Mrs. Marioni was also predeceased by all her siblings; Catherine Manzi, Dorothy Bertucci, Salvatore Romano, and Vivian Shobert. Mrs. Marioni has 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Marioni was a longtime resident of Havertown and was an original member of St. John Nuemann Parish in the Bryn Mawr section of Haverford Township.
There will be a viewing Monday July 14, 2003 at 9:30 am in St. John Nuemann Church and it will be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. The burial will take place in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.

Agnes Jane Tomlinson
Born in Altoona, Pa. on Aug. 19, 1919
Departed on Jul. 3, 2003 and resided in Havertown, PA.

Ms. Agnes Jane Tomlinson, 83, long-time resident of Havertown, Pa. passed away Wednesday July 3, 2003 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Paoli, Pa.
Born August 19, 1919 in Altoona, Pa. to Mary Kathryn (nee Hagan)and Michael Elias Tomlinson.
She is also survived by her many cousins. She is especially missed by her cats, Coco and Cali.
Ms. Tomlinson served her country in the United States Army. She attained the rank of Corporal. She was the reciepient of the World War II Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, WAAC Service Medal, Asiactic Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star. She also earned 2 overseas Bars.
Ms. Tomlinson also was an amatuer artist and had many paintings to her credit.
There will be a viewing Friday July 11, in Annunciation BVM Church, Havertown at 9 am and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. The interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, Pa.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to Maryknoll Sisters 10 Pinesbridge Rd. Maryknoll, New Jersey 10545

James Donald Edelman
Born in Philadelphia, Pa on Nov. 27, 1928
Departed on Jul. 19, 2003 and resided in Havertown, PA.

James Donald Edelman, July 19, 2003 passed away at his home. Beloved wife of Nancy E.(nee Welsh). Father of Katie Edelman, Annie Bole. Brother of Raymond(Millie), John (Corrine)Edelman of Havertown, Pa.

ROSE E. SWEIGARD

Rose Elizabeth Sweigard of Havertown, Pa. died Tuesday July 29, 2003 at Plymouth House in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
Born March 8, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Bridget (nee Martin) and James Herron. She is a graduate of Hallahan High School.
For many years Mrs. Sweigard worked as a bookeeper for Pierce Archives.
Long time parishioner of Annunciation B.V.M. Church in Havertown.
She has been the wife of Sherman T. Sweigard for 53 years, mother of Kevin of Havertown, Bryan (Diane) of Drexel Hill and the late Greg and the late Mark.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 2 in Annunciation B.V.M. Church, Brookline Blvd., Havertown where family and friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Interment is in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Saint Raphaela Retreat House, 616 Coopertown Rd., Haverford, Pa. 19041.

Charles R. DeArros, Jr.
Born in Darby, Pa. on Mar. 7, 1944
Departed on Jul. 8, 2003 and resided in Ocean City, NJ.

Mr. Charles R. DeArros, Jr. passed away Tuesday July 8, 2003 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, New Jersey after a long illness. Charles is the Husband of Patricia D. (Nee McKenna) DeArros, also of Ocean City, New Jersey. He is the Father of Suzanne D. (Ronald T. Jr.) Rineer of Lincoln University, Pa. Mr. DeArros is the grandfather of Ronald T. Rineer, III, and Matthew C. Rineer.
Mr. DeArros is a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, Pa.
Mr. DeArros is a 2 year resident of Ocean City, New Jersey; prior to living there he lived in Dennis ville, NJ. for approximately 4 years. Mr. and Mrs. DeArros was also a resident of Havertown, Pa. for many years prior to that.
Mr. DeArros was employed as a merchant seaman. He worked mainly for ARCO Oil Corp. as a boatswain loading and unloading oil from tankers. The job took him to many interesting destinations up and down both the East and West coasts; but mainly Philadelphia and Long Beach, California.
Mr. Charles DeArros had many interests including being a volunteer fireman for many years; serving in the Briarcliffe, Collingdale, and Manoa Fire Companies.
Charles was also a military veteran. He served in active duty in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era. He later joined the United States Army Reserve.
The past two years Mr. DeArros had workes on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. He operated the ferry and loaded and unloaded the cars onto the ferry
There will be a viewing on Saturday July 12, 2003 at 9 am in the Stretch Funeral Home 236 East Eagle Rd. Havertown, Pa. 19083 and his Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am in St. Denis Church Havertown. Interment will take place at West Laurel Hill Cemetery Bala Cynwyd, Pa.

ANNE T. KILLION
Born in Ardmore, Pa. on Jul. 14, 2003

Anne T. (nee Conlin) Killion a life long resident of Ardmore, Pa. died Tuesday July 15, 2003, one day after her 90th birthday.
Born July 14, 1913 in Ardmore, Pa. to Anna (nee McCullough) and William Conlin.
Mrs. Killion was a registered nurse and worked in the maternity ward of Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital for years.
She was a long-time parishioner of St. Denis Church in Havertown, Pa.
In her spare time she enjoyed baking and cooking but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Killion's husband, John Vincent Killion died in 1955. She is survived by her daughter Denise K. Carnesi and her husband Larry, her grandchildren Brian and his wife Lisa, Karen and Lauren. She was predeceased by her sisters Jane Conlin and Mary Neilson.
Family and friends may call 9:00 A.M. Saturday in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, E. Eagle Rd. & St. Denis Lane, Havertown and to her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Denis Church, Havertown. Interment is in St. Denis Cemetery.

Michael Angelo De Maio
Born in Englewood, Ca. on Aug. 12, 1966

Michael Angelo De Maio, on August 1, 2003 beloved husband of Jewel (nee Bracy)De Maio of Sanatoga, Pa. Father of Ruby Isabel & Gian Michael De Maio. Brother of Nicholas P. Christopher and Peter J. De Maio. Son of Nicholas A. Jr. and Margaret (Gilkes)De Maio of Narberth, Pa.
Michael was a graduate of Atlantic City High School, class of 1984. Then proceeded on to receive a degree in broadcasting and journalism at Temple University. Michael then proceeded to Widner University to Study Law. He worked for representative Jon D. Fox for district 13. He was an insurance agent and investment counselor for the Prudential Insurance Company. He ranked in the top 500 Insurance Sales Representatives. He later became an insurance agent with State Farm Insurance Company. He owned and operated an agency marketing insurance and financial policies in Royersford, Pa.
Michael was involved in many organizations. He belong to the N.A.I.F.A., Montgomery County Estate Planning Coun cel, The Chamber of Commerce and The National Head Injury Foundation.
He enjoyed international travel and his life focused on his family.

CARMINE CIVITELLA
Born in Abruzzo, Itlay on Aug. 19, 1914
Departed on Aug. 6, 2003 and resided in Ardmore, PA.

Carmine Civitella, 88 of Ardmore, Pa. died Wednesday morning August 6, 2003 at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, Pa.
He was born August 19, 1914 in Abruzzo, Itlay to Giovanna and Giuseppe Civitella. Mr. Civitella was born and raised in Itlay. He was a farmer in Itlay. He was a World War II veteran with the Italian Army, serving with the Special Forces Alpine.
Mr. Civitella moved to the United States twenty-five years ago.
He worked in the kitchens at Villanova University for fifteen years.
Parishioner of St. Colman's Church in Ardmore.
He is survived by his wife Maria Carmin (nee DelPizzo) Civitella, his sons Giuseppe and Diamante Civitella, grandsons Carlo and Claudio Civitella and his great grandchildren Carlo Civitella, Jr. and Amber Marie Civitella.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 9 in St. Colman's Church, Lancaster Ave. & Argyle Rd., Ardmore where family and friends may call after 8:30 A.M. Entombment is at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
