ANNIE NICHOLAS
Annie Nicholas, 87, of Irwin, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in the Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. She was born April 30, 1912, in Irwin, a daughter of the late Moses and Marion Joseph Nicholas. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an assembler for Pittsburgh Reflector of Irwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters , Sara Ustazewski and Mary Weaver; and four brothers , Anthony, Isaac, Joseph and Kenneth Nicholas. Surviving are a son, Albert and his wife, Margo Viziola, of Irwin; two grandchildren, Joe Blasco of Hollywood, Calif., and Nancy and her husband, Filippo Rapone, of Chino Hills, Calif.; a sister, Norma Jean Nicholas of Irwin; two brothers , Michael Nicholas of North Huntingdon and Fred Nicholas of Pitcairn; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father John Nosal, pastor of St. Michael's Orthodox Church of South Greensburg, officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.

LIBERTINA N. NICOL
Libertina N. Nicol, 90, of Latrobe, died Friday, March 10, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1910, in Maggiora, Italy, the daughter of the late Vincent and Maddaline Perolini Vallana. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Nicol, in 1969. She is survived by three cousins, Catherine I. Abbott, Valia DeVitto and Bruno Inselmini, all of Latrobe; four nieces, Velma Peilia and Nedra Gallo, both of East Hartford, Conn., Beverly Alexander of Wooster, Ohio, and Kathleen Kutzer of Blairsville; and a nephew, Louis Nicol of Temperance, Mich. Service time will be announced. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery. Arrangements are incomplete. FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe.

EMIL N. OLYARNIK
Emil N. Olyarnik, 81, of Greensburg, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Duquesne, a son of the late John and Magdalen Olyarnik. He attended Duquesne High School and was a 1940 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. He had been employed by Westinghouse Electric, the Elliott Co., and retired from Motor Coils Mfg. of Braddock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers , John, George and Cyril. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Olyarnik of Greensburg; a sister, Agnes Krucik of White Oak; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. ALICE MARIE RARICK
Alice Marie Rarick, of Liberty Borough, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home, Mars. She worked as a traveling phlebotomist for the former Med-Check Laboratories in Perrysville for more than 10 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Parish, St. Eugene Worship Site, Liberty Borough; a volunteer with Liberty Borough as an EMT and also McKeesport as an EMS paramedic; and a volunteer with the Girl Scouts. She was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are her mother , Iva Cross Merritt and stepfather, Richard Merritt of Peru, Ind.; two daughters , Kathleen Zeleznik of Mars and Donna Lambert of Rillton; a son, Patrick Rarick of Port Vue; 10 grandchildren; two sisters , Arlene Breeden of Mammoth, Ore., and Shirley Trent of Peru, Ind.; and a brother, Kenneth James of Seattle, Wash. Friends received at STRIFFLERS' OF WHITE OAK Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Eugene's Worship Site, Liberty Borough, with the Rev. Gerald Mikonis as celebrant.

BETTY L. SMITH
Betty L. Smith, 53, of New Stanton RD1, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 14, 1946, in Greensburg, a daughter of Carolyn V. Barnhart Bosch of New Stanton RD1 and the late Luther H. Bosch. She was a member of the St. Paul's Seanor United Church of Christ, New Stanton RD. In addition to her mother , she is survived by her husband, Robert E. Smith; a daughter, Tamela L. Wilson and her husband, Matthew, of New Stanton; two sons , James H. Smith and his wife, Lisa, of White Oak and Brian R. Smith and his wife, Melissa, of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Joshua and Dayna Wilson, Katelynn, Casandra and Courtney Smith and Peyton Smith; and a sister, Carol L. Sisson of Beaufort, S.C. Friends will be received at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James H. Ghrist officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

LINDA LEE SNYDER
Linda Lee Snyder, 54, of McKeesport, formerly of Slickville, died Thursday, March 9, 2000. She was born June 6, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Paul Z. and Irene M. Jones Snyder. Linda is survived by a sister, Gertrude Gardone and her husband, Joseph, of Monroeville. Friends will be received at the EDWIN N. WOLFE FUNERAL HOME INC., Export, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Frederick C. Heitzenroder officiating. CLAYTON G. STUCHAL SR.
Clayton G. Stuchal Sr., 80, of Adamsburg, died Friday, March 10, 2000, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born May 30, 1919, in Ardara, a son of the late Harry W. and Bertha Jane McWilliams Stuchal. He was a retired employee of Conrail. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Rodenz Stuchal, on Feb. 16, 2000; four brothers , Samuel, Walter, Gurney and Charles Stuchal; and two sisters , Catherine Correll and Frances Lentz. He is survived by a daughter, Anna Marie Miller of Jeannette; a son, Clayton G. Stuchal Jr. of Adamsburg; also brothers -in-law, sisters -in-law, nieces and nephews. GUY F. YERACE
Guy F. Yerace, 85, of Monroeville, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at his home. He was born Sept. 7, 1914, in Wilmerding, a son of the late Vincent and Rose Matarazzo Yerace. He was retired from the Westinghouse Electric in East Pittsburgh. He was an avid bowler for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers , Anthony, John and Ralph Yerace; and three sisters , Josephine Notaro, Millie Latella and Mary Scalise. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose Sennec Yerace; a son, Guy A. Yerace and his wife, Rita, of Harrison City; two daughters , Mary Brown and her husband, George, of Trafford and Geraldine Powell and her husband, Merle, of Monroeville; a brother, Eli Yerace of Wall; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME, 429 Duquesne Ave., Trafford, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Regis Church, Trafford. ROBERT C. BOWMAN
Robert C. "Bob" Bowman, 74, of Scottdale, passed away Friday morning, March 10, 2000, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Mt. Pleasant Township, a son of the late Robert Leroy and Lida Creighton Bowman. Bob married the former Dorothy Crosby on June 15, 1946. Bob was a retired trailer truck driver with the former B&P Motor Express of Irwin, where he worked for nearly 25 years. He was previously employed by ABF Trucking in Hunker. Bob was a member of the Pennsville Baptist Church, the Greater Scottdale Community Senior Citizens, and the Scottdale Firemen's Club. He also enjoyed working as an auto mechanic. Bob is survived by his loving family: his wife of 53 years, Dorothy M. Crosby Bowman; his three children, Charles W. "Butch" Bowman and wife, Debbie, of Everson, Roberta C. Gross of Scottdale and Sandra D. Williams and husband, Rick, of Woodstock, Va.; his seven grandchildren, Wendi Weiner and husband, Todd, Dawn Townsend and husband, Mike, Lisa McLaughlin, Steven Gross, Stanley Gross, Danielle Williams and Joshua Williams; his three great-grandchildren, Tara O'Neal, Aarron Townsend and Jamie Williams; his six sisters , Mary Cumberland of Wooddale, Margaret Barko of Connellsville, Dorothy Hostettler of Mt. Pleasant, Frances Barko and husband, Theodore, of Greensburg, Clara Barko and husband, Joel, of Ruffsdale and LaVerne Sultzer and husband, Edward, of Bullskin Township; his four brothers , Kenneth Bowman and wife, Jean, of Wooddale, Braden Bowman and wife, Faye, of Dunbar, Herbert Bowman and wife, Dixie, of Latrobe and Melvin Bowman and wife, Joanne, of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two sisters , Alma Geraldine Collins and Ethel Bowman; and three nephews, Ronald Collins, Robert Collins and Donald Betker. MARY LOUISE CAMMARATA
Mary Louise Cammarata, 80, of Youngtown, Ariz., formerly of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, in Youngtown, Ariz. She was born May 7, 1919, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late James and Anna Baracco Zinna. She was a former member of Our Lady of Grace Church and the Women's Auxiliary of the Moose. She is survived by her husband, Frank Cammarata Jr.; three sons , Frank Cammarata III and wife, Karen, of Arkansas, James Cammarata and wife, Deanna, of Arizona, and Joseph Cammarata of Redwood, Calif.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Mario Zinna and wife, Olga, of Jeannette; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters . Relatives and friends will be received at the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME, 409 W. Dennis M. Coffman, 39, of Indian Head Road, Indian Head, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in the IHS of Greater Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Friends and family will be received in the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will take place Monday in the Indian Head Church of God from noon until 1 p.m., the hour of funeral services in the church with the Rev. FLORENCE MABEL (LEWIS) CUTTLER
Florence Mabel (Lewis) Cuttler, 85, of Maryland, formerly of Munhall, on Monday, Feb. 21, 2000. Wife of the late Frank A. Cuttler. mother of Marjorie Bailey of the state of California, Robert Cuttler of Munhall, William Cuttler of Pasadena, Md., and the late Donald and David Cuttler. Also nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Homestead Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Homestead. ANTHONY B. DeMARINO
Anthony B. DeMarino, co-founder of T&L Restaurant of Hempfield Township, died at age 79, at his home in Hempfield Township, Thursday, March 9, 2000. He was born Dec. 22, 1920, in Greensburg, a son of the late Vincent and Agata Picolli DeMarino. He was a loving Father , grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Church of St. Paul and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served in World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary P. "Lena" Garofola DeMarino; his sister, Rose DeMeter; and two brothers , Larry and James DeMarino. He is survived by his children, sons , Jerome A. DeMarino and wife, Judy, and Ronald V. DeMarino and wife, Gwen, all of Greensburg; a daughter, Janet R. Spoerer and husband, Thomas, of West Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters , Angeline Orange of Jeannette and Agnes Fabi of Michigan; a brother, Sandy DeMarino, of Greensburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. WILLIAM A. GUNTHER JR.
William A. Gunther Jr., 80, of Jeannette, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at home. He was born Jan. 22, 1920, in Jeannette, a son of the late William A. Sr. and Minnie Burkhart Gunther. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the former ASG Industries of Jeannette. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah E. "Betty" Gunther; three sisters , Eleanor Morich, Lillian Snyder and Dorothy Faroux; and two brothers , Clarence and Ralph Gunther. He is survived by two sons , William A. Gunther III and his wife, Linda, and Ronald L. Gunther and his wife, Debbie, all of Jeannette; a daughter, Donna Consiglio of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. WILLIAM J. HASSAN
William J. Hassan, 67, of Latrobe, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Born Aug. 30, 1932, in DuBois, he was the son of Nellie L. Aaron Hassan Wilson of DuBois and the late Guy W. Hassan. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Westinghouse. He was a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his Father , he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa J. Kinkead Hassan; and stepfather, Paul Wilson. In addition to his mother , he is survived by a son, William M. Hassan and his wife, Ann, of Pittsburgh; three daughters , Lisa DeStefano and her husband, Mark, Nancy M. Hassan and Karen L. Hassan, all of Latrobe; a sister, Maureen Sayers of DuBois; three grandchildren, Connor Hassan, Mary Hassan and Hugh Hassan; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. DOLORES J. HAUSER
Dolores J. Hauser, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at her residence. She was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Kecksburg, a daughter of the late George Frederick and Sarah Porterfield Betker. Dolores was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church and was previously employed by McDonald's of Mt. Pleasant. She was a homemaker and the loving mother of Robert Hauser and wife, Karen, of Tarrs, James Hauser and wife, Nicole, of Mt. Pleasant, Darlene Owen and husband, Victor, of Tarrs and Roxanne Sanners and husband, Rick, of Mt. Pleasant. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Robert and wife, Angela, Michael, Jennifer, Casie and Jesse Hauser, Jason and Holly Owen, Edward and Susan Sanners; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Johnathan and Jade; three brothers , Fred Betker and wife, Shirley, of Confluence, David Betker and wife, Flora, of Scottdale and Raymond Betker and wife, Rose, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two sisters , Melva Lytle of Confluence and Freda Potoka of Tarrs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. Hauser, in 1998; a son, Darrel Hauser; and two brothers , Earl Robert Betker and John Donald Betker. Friends will be received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ralph A. Mostoller officiating. MARGARET MAE HELMS
Margaret Mae Helms, 88, of South Connellsville, died Friday, March 10, 2000, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. She was born July 8, 1911, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Jane Workman Leasher. She was formerly employed in the cafeteria of the South Connellsville Elementary School. She was a member of the Connellsville Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, the South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association Ladies Auxiliary and its High Hatters and Old Timers. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert W. Helms; a daughter, Verlaine Wilhelm; five brothers , George Francis Leasher, Oliver Workman, Palmer Q. Leasher, Daniel and James Leasher; and two sisters , Catherine Medvic and Mildred Leasher. She is survived by three sons , Albert W. Helms and his wife, Marie T., of Lincoln, Maine, James Robert "Bob" Helms and his wife, Jean, of Beaverton, Ore., and Terry L. Helms of Warren, Mich.; a daughter, Joretta Lee "Jerry" Horn of South Connellsville; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, John "Wid" Leasher and his wife, Evelyn, of South Connellsville. Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Moskowitz officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. The Connellsville Eagles Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
