Dorothy Simbari

Dorothy Simbari, 72, died Friday, July 21, 2000, in UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 3, 1928, in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Rosaria Crivelli Simbari. Survivors include her sister, Angeline R. Panza of Sharpsburg and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters , Maryann Indovina, Alvina Arella, Rose Mazza and Sylvia Harris; and four brothers , Dominic Simbari, Frank Simbari, Anthony Simbari and Melvin Simbari. Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday in WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, Main and Ninth streets, Sharpsburg. Christian Funeral Mass will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in Madonna of Jerusalem Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Andrew C. Fischer as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, O'Hara.

John R. Skinger
Ingomar

John R. Skinger, 77, of Ingomar, on Thursday, July 20, 2000. Husband of Alice Skinger; Father of Donna Lee Carr of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jacqueline Dionisio of Wexford; brother of Edward Skinger of Brighton Heights, Tom Skinger of Shaler, and Frances Glova of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Also survived by six grandchildren. Mr. Skinger was a veteran serving the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church. Interment Allegheny County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be offered in John's memory to the American Cancer Society for Childhood Cancer Research, Centennial Building, 241 Fourth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Arrangements by H.P. Philip K. Stewart Jr.

Philip K. Stewart Jr., 81, died Friday, July 22, 2000, in UPMC Passavant, McCandless. Born Aug. 28, 1918, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Phillip and Mary Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 249. Survivors include his wife, Jane P. Stewart; two sons , Kenneth Stewart of Florida and David Stewart of O'Hara; a daughter, Patricia A. Ogborne of Cranberry; a step-daughter, Patricia J. Harrison of Ross; two sisters , Marjorie Martrano of Reserve and Dorothy Weir of Grove City; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth M. Weisensee Stewart. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday in T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Reserve.

Eleana M. Toniolo

Eleana M. Toniolo, of Jeannette, died Monday, July 17, 2000, in I.H.S. of Mountain View, Unity Township. She was born in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Thomas and Maria Brocco Serra. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Jeannette School District. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters , Anna and Angeline Serra; and three brothers , Charles, John and David Serra. Eleana is survived by her husband, Joseph Toniolo; two daughters , Joann Shaffer and her husband, Mark, of Greensburg and Mary Beth Fejes and her husband, Robert, of Jeannette; a sister and a brother, Victoria Caviggia and Anthony Serra, both of Jeannette; four grandchildren, Brian and Dane Shaffer and Elliott and Lauren Fejes; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services were held Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery chapel, North Huntingdon. Arrangements by the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette.

Edward Trader, 74, of Summerville, S.C., died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at a local nursing home. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a retired steel roller for Cytemp Specialty Steel and member of St. Paul's Cathedral in Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late Frank and Julia Golembiewski Trader. Surviving are his wife, Henrietta; stepsons, Merle Saylor of Meyersdale, Pa., and Gregory Saylor of Summerville, S.C.; sister, Theresa McIrvin of Aledo, Texas ; and granddaughter, Denise Saylor of Summerville, S.C. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends Inc., 2643 Pennsylvania Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15228. Elizabeth C. Uram, 82, of Level Green, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, in the Forbes Regional Health Center, Monroeville. She was born Dec. 28, 1917, in Latrobe, the daughter of the late John and Isabelle Mooney Morrison. She was a member of St. Regis Church in Trafford. In addition to her parents, two brothers , John and Harry Morrison, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Leo C. Uram; two sons , Stanley L. of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Ronald of Greenville, Mich.; two daughters , Sandra L. Accettola of Weirton, W.Va., and Rebecca E. Furrer of Level Green; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME, 429 Duquesne Ave., Trafford, (412) 372-3111, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Regis Church, Trafford, with the Rev. George Yenche, 89, of Wilkins Township, on Saturday, July 22, 2000. Beloved husband of Ann (Marcin) Yenche. Loving Father of Eugene R. and wife, Isabel Yenchi, of Plum Borough and Annette and husband, Jack McGuill, of Plum Borough; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother of Irene Antoncic, Elmer and the late Mike, John, Steve and David Yenche. Louis M. Zuk, 52, died Friday, July 21, 2000, in his home. Born Jan. 26, 1948, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Christopher and Wanda Zuk. Mr. Zuk was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a driver for OK Grocery. He was a member of Teamsters Local 249. Survivors include his wife, Judy M. Zuk; a son, Christopher Zuk; and two daughters , Elise Zuk and Melissa Zuk. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in BOCK FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Shaler. Christian Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Ursula Roman Catholic Chrurch, Ross, with the Rev. Garret Dorsey as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler

Clarence L. Brick

Clarence L. "Jeff" Brick, 85, of Ruffsdale, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Westmoreland Manor. He was born Feb. 17, 1915, in Bedford, a son of the late Albert and Cora Lowery Brick. Clarence was an avid fisherman and hunter, and prior to retirement, was employed as a machinist at Robertshaw Controls, New Stanton. He is survived by two sons , Nevin A. Brick and his wife, Cathy, of Leroy, N.Y,. and William C. Brick of Ruffsdale; two grandchildren, Courtney Brick and Robert Brunson; three sisters , Alice Mitchell, Barbara Corr and her husband, Bill, all of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, and Ethel Just of Philadelphia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Catherine Leighty Brick, in 1985; two brothers , Don and Eugene Brick; and three sisters , Lenore Edwards, Olive Blobner and Marian "Sis" Beckinger. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, where his funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frank Lee Conn, 48, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, July 21, 2000, in his home. Born July 10, 1952 in Connellsville, Pa., he was the son of Cameron L. Conn and Evelyn Blaney Conn. He is survived by two sons , Andrew F. M. Conn and Cameron L. Conn; one daughter, Jennie C. Conn; five brothers , Cameron Conn of Bradenton, Fla., Charles Conn and Roger Conn, both of Connellsville, James Conn of Fla., and Ronald Conn of Va.; three sisters , Phyllis Murphy of Va., Janice Housel and Connie Schroyer, both of Connellsville. He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry D. Conn, and two sisters , Elizabeth J. and Mary Alice Conn. Albert J. "Bo" DeFelice Sr., 71, of Jeannette, formerly of McKeesport, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, in AUMC-Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born Oct. 31, 1928, in McKeesport, a son of the late Sabatino and Antoinette Natale DeFelice. He was a retired pipe fitter for U.S. Steel, National Works. He was a member of St. Patrick's Parish and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the 11th Ward Club, American Legion Post 701, White Oak, and the McKeesport AMVETS 8. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Albert J. "Sonny" DeFelice Jr. Survivors include his wife, Eileen E. Armstrong DeFelice of Jeannette; six daughters , Adele Bach of Irwin, Shirley Sarver and Pam Brummett of Jeannette, Antoinette Yuhas of McKeesport, Lois Ponsonby of North Huntingdon and Donita Galbraith of Sarasota, Fla.; five sons , Thomas DeFelice of McKeesport, Robert and Brian DeFelice of Jeannette, Louis DeFelice of Sarasota, Fla., and Steven DeFelice of Irwin; 28 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers , Ralph T. DeFelice of McKeesport and Samuel DeFelice of Culver City, Calif.; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. Services will be held Thursday in St. Patrick's Church, McKeesport, with the Rev. Vince Velas officiating. Entombment in New St. Joseph Cemetery. Amelia D. Tarquinio Dominick

Amelia D. Tarquinio Dominick, 73, of Jeannette, went to be with her Savior and Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2000. She was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Agapito and Magdalena Roberts Tarquinio. Amelia and her husband John owned and operated the former Domenico's Restaurant in Jeannette. Amelia loved her God, husband, family and friends. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Jeannette and its Rosary Altar Society, the Catholic daughters of America Court 383, the St. Anne Women's Association, the Italian sons and daughters of America and the Greensburg Club of Italian Women. Amelia was also active in the Greensburg Country Club Idle Golfers Bowling League, the GCC Couples Bowling League and the GCC Bridge Club. In addition to her parents, Amelia is now reunited with her sisters , Rose Benson and Gloria Krautz; and a brother, Gerald Tarquinio. She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, John Dominick; two daughters Cesidia "Cyd" Copper and husband, Thomas, of Greensburg, and Deborah Loughner and husband, James, of Jeannette; her treasured grandchildren, John Copper and wife, Kelli, Craig Copper and Renee and Nicole Loughner; three great-grandchildren, John, Brandon and Anthony Copper; her sister and best friend, Lorraine Krautz of Greensburg; a brother, Ronald Tarquinio and wife, Lee, of Export; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is forever a part of us and we will carry her love and memory all the days of our lives. Friends will be received at the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, beginning Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church with Father Gilbert Burke, O.S.B., as celebrant and Father William Beaver, O.S.B., as concelebrant. Entombment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hempfield Township. The Sacred Heart Rosary Altar Society and the CD of A 383 combined will pray the rosary Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
