WILLIAM KEACH
A former Duquesne resident, William Edward (Ed) Keach of Hilltown Twp. died Wednesday in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. A 1963 graduate of Duquesne High School, he received an associate degree in nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, and studied anesthesiology and received a bachelor?s degree in nursing at the Hospital of the Medical College of Gwynedd Mercy College.
A registered nurse, he was employed as a member of the transport team of St. Christopher?s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and was a former manager and supervisor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Grand View Hospital in West Rockhill Twp.
He was a retired major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Nurse Corps serving as a loadmaster and illuminator operator in the Vietnam War; an officer Flight Nurse in the 69th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, now 514th AES, at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey; and two years at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland where he was an individual mobilization augmentee.
Keach was a member of the Perkasie Ambulance Corps, Reserve Officer Association, Pennsylvania State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians, Regional Faculty, and Lenape Presbyterian Church in New Britain where he served as deacon and member of the First Light Choir. He was an instructor for the American Heart Association.
Born in Duquesne, he was the son of the late William Preston and Mary Elizabeth Kucik Keach. He is survived by his wife, Margaret N. (Peg) Nichols Keach; daughters, Elizabeth Marie and Debra Lynn Keach of Hilltown Twp.; son, James Michael Keach of Pittsburgh; a grandson; and an aunt.
Friends will be received in Bernard Suess Funeral Home, Inc., Perkasie, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow in the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service there at 10:30. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Whitemarsh Twp. Service will be conducted tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in Strifflers? White Oak for a former Irwin resident, Gayle L. Haynick of Petrolia who died Wednesday. Friends are being received today from 2 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. She was born Feb. 5, 1934.
JOSEPH OGURCHAK
Joseph P. Ogurchak, 86, of Glassport died Wednesday in Jefferson Hospital. A retired foreman at Copperweld Bimetallics Division, he was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, both in Glassport.
Born in McKeesport, April 25, 1913, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Shimko Ogurchak and the husband of the late Erma Kola Ogurchak. He is survived by his wife, Rita Will Stein Ogurchak; sister, Bertha Stevens of McKeesport; nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received today from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Edmund E. Wojciechowski Jr. Funeral Home, Glassport. A blessing will be offered there tomorrow at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Casimir Kedzierski. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
JOSEPH VEHEC
Joseph R. Vehec, 71, of West Mifflin died Wednesday at home. A former grievance secretary for U.S. Steel Corp., he was an executive secretary for the First Catholic Slovak Union and past president of the Jednota Junior and Senior Bowling League.
Born in Homestead, March 21, 1929, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Butko Vehec. He is survived by his wife, Helen Podlaski Vehec; children, Sylvia, Joe, John and Kelly Vehec, Sandra Thomas Vehec and Elizabeth Belan; and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall, today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. No visitation is planned Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Anne Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish by the Rev. Henry Krawczyk. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
ALVA CAMP
Service was held April 6 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Kansas for Alva S. Camp, 89, of Lenexa, Kans., formerly of Leawood, Kans., who died April 3 at Lakeview Village. Interment was in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas.
A 1935 graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, now Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she retired from J.C. Penney?s with 17 years of service and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, its Keenagers, Shepherd?s Center, Sigma Kappa Sorority and Order of Eastern Star.
Born in Wilson, Feb. 7, 1911, she was the wife of the late Walter E. Camp. She is survived by her son, Craig Camp of Littleton, Colo.; daughter, Kay Whetstone of St. George, Utah; a granddaughter and great granddaughter; sister, Mildred Burnett of Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers, Clyde and Glenn Spence of Clairton; nieces and nephews.
JAMES TRAVISANO
James A. (Jim) Travisano, 73, of Wilmerding died Wednesday in Braddock Medical Center. A retired pipe fitter for Westinghouse Air Brake Co. in Wilmerding, he was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding where he served as an usher, a life member of the Wilmerding Fire Department where he served for over 45 years and its former fire chief for 14 years.
An honorary life member of the Wilmerding Emergency Medical Services and Pre-Hospital Services, he was a member of the Italian American War Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Wilmerding, he was the son of the late Antonio and Michelina Russo Travisano. He is survived by sisters, Christine and Valverdina (Val) Travisano and Philomenia Palmeri; brothers, Nick, Peter, Paul and Joseph Travisano; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding. Service will begin there Monday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Jude the Apostle Church with the Rev. John O?Malley as celebrant. A former Duquesne resident, Agnes B. O?Connor, 89, of Rome, N.Y., died there yesterday. Born in Duquesne, March 14, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Elizabeth B. Zewe Kroeger.
Wife of the late Thomas Kennedy, Frank F. Revak and John W. O?Connor, she is survived by son, Frank G. Revak of Rome, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister, Alma M. Madeya of White Oak; nieces and nephews.

RALPH STAUFFER
Ralph A. Stauffer, 87, of North Huntingdon Twp. died there Saturday in Briarcliff Pavilion for Specialized Care. A retired motor inspector and electrician from the National plant, U.S. Steel Corp., he was a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church.
Born in McKeesport, Aug. 14, 1912, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Grace Finlayson Stauffer. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Schoeller Stauffer; son, Ralph Stauffer Jr. of Clinton; daughters, Noreen Coyne of Sewickley and Mira Core of Rodgersville; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and brother, Charles Stauffer of Hemet, Calif.

NETTIE JANICKI
Nettie Janicki, 85, of Blaine Hill died Saturday in Southwestern Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Pleasant Hills. She was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church and its Ladies Guild.
Born July 3, 1913, in Conemaugh Twp., she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Kotich Broda. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Janicki; daughters, Theresa Charlesworth of Liberty and Dolores Vidil of Blaine Hill; two granddaughters; brothers, Paul Broda of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Walter Broda of Aspeth, N.Y.; sisters, Elizabeth Crum of Ukiah, Calif., Olga Rudomen of Stuart, Fla., and Margie Kerrigan, East Meadow, N.Y.; nieces and nephews.

WILLIAM PETRUSKI
William A. Petruski, 76, of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, died Saturday at home. A retired cast house crane operator in the Dorothy Blast Furnace of the Duquesne plant, U.S. Steel Corp., he was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Duquesne and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving as a staff sergeant in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
Born in Duquesne, Aug. 5, 1923, he was the son of the late Andrew and Eleanor Novak Petruski. He is survived by his wife, Jean Matyko Petruski; daughter, Anne E. Radakovich of White Oak; sister, Mary Sita of Upper Marlboro, Md.; brothers, Thomas Petruski of Upper Marlboro and Raymond Petruski of Irwin; nieces and nephews.

Frances Y. Holian McElhinney, 71, of Munhall died Saturday. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Church in Munhall.
Born May 25, 1922, she was the wife of the late William T. McElhinney. She is survived by children, Maribeth Goretzke in Wisconsin, William McElhinney of Versailles, Daniel and Patrick McElhinney of West Mifflin and Kathy Andrew of Baldwin; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters, Kate Sukaly and Rita Holian of Munhall, Teresa Schaff of West Mifflin and Noreen Soltis of West Homestead; and brother, Kevin Holian of Munhall.

Jack P. Petrulli, 78, of McKeesport died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. A retired pipefitter for the National plant, U.S. Steel Corp., he was a member of St. Patrick Parish, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Boston Veterans, Polish National Alliance Lodge 352, Gen. Smedley D. Butler American Legion Post 701 in White Oak and Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 146 in Versailles and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Born April 1, 1921, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Ferrera Petrulli and the husband of the late Mary E. Telesko Petrulli. He is survived by a son, Jack R. Petrulli of White Oak; sisters, Nina Cernkovic of McKeesport and Katherine (Kay) Salata of White Oak; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service was conducted today in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in White Oak for Theodora Hionis, 92, of White Oak who died Saturday in Kane Regional Center. The Rev. Michael Poplas officiated and interment was in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Arrangements were handled by the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home, Inc.
A member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, she was born Oct. 10, 1907, in Kefalonia, Greece, a daughter of the late Milton and Spirithoula Yiakoumatos.
Wife of the late Dennis Hionis, she is survived by a son, Geracimos Hionis of White Oak; two granddaughters and a great granddaughter; and brother, Nick Yiakoumatos in Greece.

Peter W. Porro of Pittsburgh died Friday. He was a son of the late Rose and Ignazio Porro.
He is survived by his wife, Shirlee L. Porro; children, Judith M. Porro, Peter J. Porro, Rose Mesenger-Mannisto and Jeffrey J. Porro; two grandchildren; sister, Catherine DeLeonibus; and brother, Michael S. Porro.

Ann C. Kroeger Rock, 91, of Munhall died Saturday in Riverside Nursing Center, Inc. She was a retired secretary for Allegheny County.
Born in Mifflin Twp., Feb. 22, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Barbara Massung Kroeger and the wife of the late James P. Rock Sr. She is survived by children, Jane Anderson of West Mifflin, James (Pete) Rock Jr. of Munhall Gardens and Lawrence D. (Buzz) Rock of Homestead Park; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Clifford G. Surgeon, 74, of McKeesport died yesterday at home. Retired from Potter McCune Co., he was a member of Gen. Smedley D. Butler American Legion Post 701 in White Oak.
Born June 1, 1925, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John P. and Alice C. Erickson Surgeon and the husband of the late Mary Agnes Judy Surgeon. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Brubaker of Versailles; two grandchildren and a great grandchild; nieces and nephews.
