Born December 13, 1915, daughter of the late Michael and Louisa Thomas; beloved mother of Lawrence (Carole) Thomas Sr., Richard (Joyce) Thomas and Marilyn (Alex) Makarl sister of George Thomas of FL, Katherine Krivotch of OH and the late Joseph and Raymond Thomas; sister-in-law of Rita Kizik and Fran Thomas; loving grandmother of Marcia Thomas, Lawrence (Janet) Thomas JR, Mary Ellen (Mitchell) Montani, Richard (Jennifer) Thomas Jr., Michelle (Mark) Hilty and the late Marilyn Makar; loving great-grandmother of David, Anthony, Caroline Cherup, Tricia Lorenzo, Thomas III, Mitchell and Morgan Montani Amanda, Todd Lucas Hilty and Richard Thomas III.
Visitation Friday 2-9 at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Rd. Scott Township, PA.
Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius Church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Saturday 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.

Age 74, of Mt. Lebanon on Tuesday September 4th, 2007
Beloved wife of the late Rev. G. Sherman Ott; dear mother of Matthew Ott of Shiremanstown, PA. Dr. Timothy (Chrystal) Ott of Bethel Park, Stephen (Sharon) Ott of Shiremanstown, PA. and Rev. Dr. Daniel (Rev. Teresa) Ott of Whispering Pines, NC; grandmother of Timothy Jr., Zachary, Alexandria, Mason, Paulette, Jonnie, Michael, and Isaac; sister of Dolores Conner, Geraldine Hemmer and Wendy Yeager, NO VISITATION.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 10:30am in John McMillan Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions may be donated in Dorothys name to the Alzheimers Assoc. or John McMillan Presbyterian Church, 875 Clifton Rd. Bethel Park 15102.

Joseph J. Innocenti

Innocenti, Jopeph J. Age 90, on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 of Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh.
Husband of the late Edith (Balasatti); father of Gerald J. (Sandy) Innocenti of Phoenix, AZ and Sandra J. (Robert) Hoffman of Boca Raton, FL; grandfather of Brett Innocenti. Mr. Innocenti owned and operated a family grocery store in Mt. Washington for many years until he moved to Boca Raton, FL in 2002.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15 followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m.

Daniel Carapellucci

Carapellucci, Daniel. On the eve of his 92nd birthday, our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2004. Dan, a general contractor and owner of the D. Carapellucci Company, loved Western Pennsylvania and leaves a proud legacy through his lifelong contributions to Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities.
Born in Brentwood, PA, on November 17, 1912, he graduated from Carrick High School and attended Carnegie Institute of Technology.
In his youth, he was an accomplished football player and swimmer, and was also known locally for being a semi-professional boxer in his early adult years.
Dan lived in South Park, PA, from 1951 through 2003, when he relocated to Fort Walton Beach, FL, to be cared for by his daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Warner Carmichael.
Dan worked for 52 years in the family company, a commercial and utility construction business.
He was responsible for building more than 30 schools and churches in Western Pennsylvania.
The D. Carapellucci Company also installed hundreds of miles of water line in the Western PA area, working hand-in-hand with the PA American Water Company since the early 1920s.
In addition, he achieved statewide recognition as a leader in utility construction, serving as a long-term board member and 1975 president for the Western Pennsylvania Utility Contractors Association.
Dan also served as a board member of the National Utility Contractors Association for many years and was its national president in 1982. Dan was an Eagle Scout and a leader in the Boy Scouts of America in the 1950s.
He was also a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus.
During all of these very active years, the D. Carapellucci Company sponsored a championship duckpins bowling team that twice set the world record for total pins accrued by a team during season play.
Dan built the Nativity Catholic Church, school, and rectory, and was a dedicated member of this parish for over 40 years.
He was an enthusiastic and faithful fan of his beloved Steelers, Pirates, and Duquesne Dukes.
Additionally, he was an avid poker, pinochle, and bridge player, and enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gardening throughout his life.
Dan was a loving and giving man.
He took great pleasure in giving to others and never sought to be recognized for his generosity.
In his 92 years of living on this earth, he touched many lives and made this world a better place.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and his light will continue to shine through those he loved.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Ceresa Carapellucci in 1982, and by his second wife, Mary Manko Carapellucci in 2001, Daniel is survived by his children: Linda (Paul) Rusinko of Bradenton, FL, Arlene (Warner) Carmichael of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Daniel (Annette) Carapellucci of Vail, AZ; his stepchildren: Andrew (Winifred) Manko of Pittsburgh, PA, and Ellen Manko of Santa Cruz, CA; his grandchildren: Marylynn Rusinko, Michele Rusinko, Colin (Lori) Lipnicky, Paula (Brian) Morrison, Garett (Diane) Lipnicky, Marc (Michelle) Rusinko, Darryl (Kimberly) Lipnicky, and Melissa Lipnicky; great-grandchildren: Britney and Paul Morrison, Abigail Lipnicky, Ethan Lipnicky, and Peter Joe Calogero; sisters: Kay McCormack and Jean (Sam) Frank; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Mr. Carapelluccis family will receive friends at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral prayer Monday morning at 9:15.
Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dans honor may be made to the Passionist Nuns, 2715 Churchview Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15227; or to the PUCA-Emanuel A. Paris Memorial Scholarship Fund, at Scholarship Fund Trustees, c/o Pennsylvania Utility Contractors Association, Strawberry Arcade, 223A Walnut St., Harrisburg, PA 17101.

Violet I. Bidoli

Bidoli, Violet I. (Carver). On Thursday, November 18, 2004 of Baldwin Borough.
Wife of the late Louis Bidoli; mother of Donna (Jerry); Diane (Steve) and Darlene (Bill); sister of Ruth Shirey, James and Glen Carver, and Dorothy Scuillo; grandmother of Alex, Addy, Stevie and Amos.
Mrs. Bidoli served as an Elder and a Deacon at the Whitehall United Presbyterian Church.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
No visitation on Sunday.
Funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 11:00 in Whitehall Presbyterian Church.
The family has requested that everyone meet at the church for the service.

Marie A. Zebert

Zebert, Marie A. (Peglow). On Thursday, November 18, 2004 of Pleasant Hills.
Wife of the late Anthony N. Zebert; sister of the late Edward Peglow. Also survived by first cousin Frieda Harris, as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Zebert was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 231 and the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00.
No visitation on Sunday.
If desired family suggests contributions to the South Hills Interfaith Ministries, 1900 Sleepy Hollow Road, South Park, PA 15129.

Gail A. Schwartzmiller

Schwartzmiller, Gail A. (Albanesi). Age 51 on Saturday, November 20, 2004 of Whitehall.
Wife of Ralph F.; mother of Jennifer Bone, Shannon and Nicholas; daughter of Thomas S. and Ruth M. Albanesi; sister of Mary Lou, Thomas, Richard Albanesi and Karen Toal. Also survived by three grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:30.
