Mary J. Stehle died at the age of 94 after a brief illness on Feb. 18, 2008. A lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Anton and Emilie (Emma) Veverka, both deceased, and the widow of Edward A. Stehle. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, John, and Anthony Ververka and her grandson Christian D. Stehle. She was devoted to her family and is survived by her son, Edward R. Stehle, and his wife Alberta of Lawrenceville, NJ and her daughter, Susan Romanot, and her husband Peter of Woodbury, MN. She was an accomplished craftswoman knitting crocheting for family and charities.
