Harold A. Trutt
Harold A. Trutt, of Watsontown, died Feb. 21, 2002.
He retired in 1984 from Textron/Lycoming (AVCO).
Survivors include his wife, Alvena and children and their spouses JoAnna (Warren) Sampsell, Blaine (JoAnn) Trutt, Stevia (Milford) Cloud and Renee (Robert) Corradetti and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-1:30 p.m. Monday, Cronrath Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown. Funeral to follow at 1:30 p.m.

Walter W. Kreger
Walter W. Kreger, 85, formerly of Blossburg, residing at the home of his daughter in Wilkes-Barre, died Feb. 19, 2002, at Heritage House in Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Liberty, the son of the late Fred J. and Flossie Repard Kreger. He attended the Liberty schools.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was part of the invasion of Normandy Beach. He was a member of VFW Sebring Post 6755. He was also a member of the Evangelical Church of Sebring.
He resided in Blossburg for 56 years.
Prior to his retirement in 1979, he worked in the trucking industry.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Evelyn, residing at Manor Care, Kingston; son and daughter-in-law, Jack F. and Elaine of Summerville, NC; daughter Nancy of Wilkes-Barre; brother Jack P.; sisters Lucille Thomas, Betty Jones, Dorothy Olson and Mary Isaacson and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the Freeberg Funeral Home, 120 North Williamson Road, Blossburg, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at 11 a.m. The Rev. John Shypulefski will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services. A luncheon will follow at the Blossburg Baptist Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Norman R. Parsons Jr.
Norman R. Parsons, Jr., formerly of Market and Center Sts. in Williamsport, died Feb. 20, 2002, at Manor Care South.
He was born in Dewart, June 12, 1919, a son of Norman and Edna Wright Parsons, Sr. His wife, Edna M. Stevens, died in Dec. 1993.
He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a Pennsylvania Deputy Game Protector for over 33 years and retired from the former WACC. He enjoyed woodworking.
His survivors include one son, Norman, III of Florida; two grandsons, Jeff and Brian; five great-grandchildren and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Maneval Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
Marissa Raeann Johnson
Marissa Raeann Johnson, infant daughter of Michael A. Johnson and Patricia A. Parker, 2945 King Court, Williamsport, became an angel of the Lord on Feb. 20, 2002.
Surviving, besides her parents, are a brother, Michael A. Kirkland, at home; paternal grandmother Roberta Johnson of Harrisburg; maternal grandfather, Richard E. Parker, Sr., of Williamsport; grandmother Donna M. Daniels of Jersey Shore and many loving aunts and uncles.
Graveside services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday in Wildwood Cemetery with the Rev. Darlene K. Little officiating.

Elizabeth Burt
Elizabeth K. "Betty" Burt, 75, of RR2 Mansfield, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at her home.
She is survived by her husband, David J. Burt; a daughter Jackie Van Derwark of Sayre; a brother Joseph S. King, Jr. of Nampa, ID; a sister, Emma Casbeer of York; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In keeping with Bettys wishes, there will be no funeral services. Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
Zdravko George Gatcheff
Zdravko George Gatcheff, 75, of 801 Main St., South Williamsport, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born May 29, 1926, at Sofia, Bulgaria, the son of the late George and Zlatka Stefana Gatcheff.
Mr. Gatcheff was a founder and member of the Holy Cross Orthodox Church, Williamsport.
Mr. Gatcheff retired as a chemist in 2001 from Croda Chemical Company at Mill Hall. He had previously retired from the Lonza Chemical Company at Williamsport.
George was a member of the Bulgarian Patriotic Club, American Chemical Society and the local Cross Country Ski Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Angie C. Clark; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and James Gehrig of Marlboro, MA and grandson, Grant Alexander Gehrig.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at the Holy Cross Orthodox Church, 1725 Holy Cross Lane, Williamsport. His Priest, Father Daniel C. Kovalak, will officiate. Interment will be at Montoursville Cemetery, Montoursville. The family will provide the flowers.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

K. Andrew Balliet
Kenneth Andrew "Andy" Balliet, 28, of 402 Gillespie Road, Central, SC, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was a 1992 graduate of Muncy High School, where he was active in Student Council and lettered on the football and baseball teams. While growing up in Muncy, he played on the American Legion Little League baseball team and was selected to the All Star team in 1986. He was a member and later a coach of the Muncy Swim Team and also worked as a lifeguard at the Patrizio Pool.
He studied at Penn College before transferring to Clemson University. While at Clemson, he was a member of the University Guide Association, Orientation Ambassador, the IPTAY Collegiate Club and worked in the Fike Recreation Center as a lifeguard. In December 1998, he received his B.A. degree from Clemson in Speech and Communications. He then accepted the position of Undergraduate Admissions Counselor in the spring of 1999.
He was a member of the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers and the Southern Association for College Admissions Counseling. He was working toward his Masters Degree and enjoyed playing golf. He was also a member of the PA Association of Student Councils, where he was on the workshop staff for nine years.
He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Muncy.
Born Nov. 6, 1973, in Danville, he was the son of James Richard and Roberta Ann Burns Balliet.
Surviving are his mother, Roberta Balliet of Central, SC; one brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Corina Balliet of Coopersburg; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Burns of Central, SC and his maternal grandfather, Robert M. Burns of Danville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. James Episcopal Church, 215 S. Main St., Muncy. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael Bye of Charlotte, NC, and the Rev. Joseph Gatto of Richmond, VA, former church pastors. Interment will be in Muncy Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Wallis-Grenobles, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial services are being held today on the Clemson University campus in South Carolina.

Marjorie E. Dugan
Mrs. Marjorie Elisabeth Dugan, 87, of 1910 Roundtop Road, Montoursville, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center.
She retired in 1976 from the Admissions Office of Harrisburg Campus of Penn State University.
Mrs. Dugan was a graduate of the class of 1932 at Altoona Area High School.
She was a member of the Saint Peters Lutheran Church at Middletown.
She was the widow of the late Samuel W. Dugan, who predeceased her on May 7, 1999. Together, they observed 63 years of marriage.
Born Sept. 23, 1914, at Altoona, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Emma M. Brehman Barry.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey W. and his wife, Judith A., with whom she resided; a granddaughter, Sheri Anderson, Montoursville and a grandson, Jason Dugan, Harrisburg.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Barry Michael, in 1947, her sister, Marion Miller and her brother, James W. Barry, Jr.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at the Middletown Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert, pastor at Saint Peters Lutheran Church, will officiate. There will be no visitation. The family will provide the flowers.
Contribution in memory of Marjorie Elisabeth Dugan may be made to the Saint Peters Lutheran Church, Spring and Union Sts., Middletown, PA 17057-1497.

Dorothy Evelyn Flanigan, 86, of Fox St., Avis, died Feb. 21, 2002 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alpheus Albert Flanigan, Jan. 16, 1989.
Survivors include two sons, a daughter, three brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., at Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation 10-11.
Ariana Renee Francis
Ariana Renee Francis, infant daughter of Jamie Jude Francis and Kimberly A. Evans Berger of Montoursville, died at birth on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Williamsport Hospital.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James Francis of Williamsport; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Evans, Sr. of Trout Run and two sisters Kati and Audrey Berger, at home.

John E. Diggan
John E. Diggan, 84, of Hughesville, died Feb. 21, 2002, at the Muncy Skilled Nursing Unit.
