Margaret Jarvis Bogatay, 73, of Nutley, N.J., formerly of White Valley, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Norfolk, Va., a daughter of the late Henry C. and Margaret Pierce Jarvis. Margaret was last employed as a school teacher from 1973 until 1983 at Holy Family School in Nutley. She was a member of Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia Alumni Association, D.A.V. Post 8 Auxiliary of Greater Pittsburgh, the Nutley Family Service Bureau and was a former Girl Scout leader in Nutley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Frank J. Bogatay, in 1992. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Redwood of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Frank J. Bogatay of White Valley; and a sister, Frances Smith of Georgia. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the EDWIN N. WOLFE FUNERAL HOME INC., Export. A Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Church, Delmont, with Father William C. McGuirk as celebrant. Anna Mae Crowley Busang, of Avalon, died Tuesday, July 18, 2000. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Busang. She is survived by two daughters , Judith Millero and husband, Frank, and Joan Wersing and husband, John; one son, Paul J. Busang and wife, Jacqueline; five grandchildren, Marta, Frank, Anthony, Paul and Kristen; and one sister, Mary Mack. She is also the sister of the late John, Margaret, Helen and Joseph Crowley. There will be no visitation. All friends are invited to attend her Christian Funeral Mass in St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. J. Hobart "Hobie" Chivers Jr., 74, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at his home in Scott. He was born December 16, 1925 in Dunkirk, New York. Mr. Chivers is survived by two daughters , Lorraine Tomacari-Fortier, and Roberta Aronson; one son, J. Hobart Chivers III; one brother, James Chivers; seven grandchildren, Esther, Andrew, Rachel, Laura, Elizabeth, Jeffrey and Katherine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances J. William M. Cooper Jr., 83, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, in Regency Vincentian, McCandless. Born March 30, 1917, in Paris, Ky., he was the son of the late William M. and Jessica Litsey Cooper Sr. Mr. Cooper was employed as a mechanical administrator in the floor maintenance equipment industry before his retirement. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Carter Cooper; two sons , William F. Cooper of Canton, Ohio, and David M. Cooper of Ross; a daughter, Sheryl A. Cooper of Ross; two brothers , Junius Cooper of Georgetown, Ky., and Robert Cooper of Paducah, Ky.; and two grandchildren. Peter J. "Pete" Faletto Jr., 85, of Herminie (Keystone), died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born July 6, 1915, in Evanstown, a son of the late Peter Sr. and Aurelia (Caserio) Faletto. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a laborer for Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh. Mr. Faletto "Pete" also helped in the day-to-day operations on the Faletto family farm. Mr. Faletto was a member of St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, Herminie, and also the C.N.A. Lodge of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers , Charles and George Faletto; and two sisters , Terese Smith and Rose Faletto. Mr. Faletto is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen (Gusmerotti) Faletto; two sons , Paul F. and his wife, Sharon, and Peter J. III and his wife, Margo Faletto, all of Evanstown; a daughter, Aurelia M. Sabol and her husband, Dennis, of Greensburg; and four grandchildren, Nanette, Heidi, Antonio, and Bailey. Mary Margaret Fiore, 64, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 17, 2000, at home. She was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Greensburg, a daughter of Kathryn DeMaria Emerick of Greensburg and the late George Emerick. She had been employed as an inspector by Jeannette Glass. In addition to her Father , she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Fiore; and a sister, Lois Rossi. In addition to her mother , she is survived by two daughters , Anarene Fiore of Greensburg and Kathy Vernau and husband, Jack, of Harrison City; a grandson, Justin Gare; a sister, Donna Mediate and husband, Tony, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Ernest J. Gribschaw, 78, of Murrysville, formerly of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born Oct. 16, 1921, in Glassport, the eldest son of the late John and Anna Novotniak Gribschaw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Shuglie Gribschaw, in January, 2000; and a brother, Andrew Thomas Gribschaw. Survived by a son, Ernest J. Gribschaw Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lori Dillon Gribschaw; and grandchildren, Drew and Erin of Plum Borough. Also survived by brothers , Albert and Steve, both of Glassport, John of Sun City, Ariz., and Raymond of Houston, Texas ; and sisters , Marie Danko of Clairton, Cecelia Mayer of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Celine Christensen of Stanford, Conn. Mr. Gribschaw retired as a coke oven heater and vicing foreman from the U.S. Steel Corp. Clairton Works with 43 years service. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he served with the 132nd Army Airways Communication Squadron in the ETO. As an air-traffic controller and radio-teletype operator. Member of the VFW Post 781 Irwin. Mr. Gribschaw was a member of the St. Agnes Church of North Huntingdon and a charter member and 3rd Degree Knight of the St. Jude Council 9019 Knights of Columbus. Mr. Gribschaw was an Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff of Westmoreland County and a charter member and past assistant chief of the North Huntingdon Special Police, and the AARP Chapter 3221 of Circleville. He was born Feb. 19, 1937, in Arnold, a son of Anna Mackowski Haduch of Lower Burrell and the late Stanley Haduch. Prior to his retirement, he was a salesman. He was Roman Catholic by faith. Hohn of North Huntingdon and the late Aldine P. Hohn. He was previously employed by Mar-Ray Construction Co. of Penn Hills. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of the Covenant of Irwin. He was also a member of the Carpenters Union Local #142 of Pittsburgh, a member of the Italian Miners Society of Hahntown and the St. Joe Polish Club of Westmoreland City. He was a former member of the Irwin Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his Father , he is survived by his wife, Laurie Weber Hohn; three children, Gary T.
