Barbara A. Kapp
Barbara A. Kapp (nee Nejbauer), 68, of Glen Mills, Pa., passed away on September 25, 2015 at home peacefully.
A lifelong resident of Delaware County, she graduated from Ridley High School and worked for many years as an assembler for Drummond Scientific as well as volunteered at Taylor Hospital. She was an avid fisherwoman and the best cook ever.
SURVIVORS: She was the beloved wife of Robert Kapp; mother of Patrick, Diane, and Steven; devoted grandmother of Bridget, Maggie, Keith, and Erin; and sister of Jean and David.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be on Wednesday, September 30th, at 11 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074.
VISITATION: Will be on Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Will be in Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, Pa.
Louis A. Pepe
Louis A. Pepe, 87, of Prospect Park, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2015.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Angelo and Angeline Pepe. He played football for Chester High School and graduated from there in 1947. He married the love of his life, Mary (Palmer) after high school.
Mr. Pepe was a Master Stone Mason and owned his own business for many years. He also worked for Andrew Wyeth restoring the Grist Mill in Chadds Ford, Pa.
He will be remembered as a kind loving father and grandfather.
Mr. Pepe is predeceased by his wife, Mary A. Pepe; his son, Richard Pepe; his brothers, Vito and Joseph Pepe; and his sister, Mary Campbell.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his sons, Louis Pepe, Thomas Pepe, Steven Pepe, and Daniel Pepe; his daughters, Maryann Wambold, Ruth Wright, Janet DiGregorio, and Margaret Pepe; his sister, Rosemarie Dilluciano; his 18 grandchildren; and his one great-grandchild.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be held on Friday, October 2nd, at 11 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074.
VISITATION: Will be on Friday from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Will be in Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, Pa.

Dorothy Bartow
Dorothy Bartow, 85, a longtime resident of Essington, Pa., passed away on January 29, 2016 at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa.
Mrs. Bartow was a resident of the Essington section of Tinicum Township for over 50 years.
She will be remembered as a woman who was devoted to her family.
She was the wife of the late Edward (The Rabbit) Bartow, who died in 1991. She was also predeceased by her daughter Rose Eppler and son-in-law Randy Eppler.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her son, Michael Bartow and his wife, Theresa, of Lester, Pa.; her grandchildren, Angel Cumpston, Katherine Bartow, David Dobson, Angela DiEmidio, and Christine DiEmidio; a great-granddaughter Amber Kilkenny who she raised, and her eight other great-grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Will be held on Thursday, February 4th, at 11 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074.

Geneva J. Taylor
Geneva J. “Gen” Taylor, age 87, of Essington, Pa., passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Essington, she lived there all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Parmelia Zimmerman. Mrs. Taylor was also a life long member of St. John’s Tinicum Lutheran Church in Essington.
An avid reader, she will be remembered as a woman who was devoted to her family.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her brother, Bud; her sisters Alice and Gloria; and her grandson Erick.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jerome “Jerry” Taylor; her son, Jerry (Kathy) Taylor; her daughters, Roberta Karmels and Joan (John) Zdun; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, and Christopher; her great-grandchildren, Miles, Skyla, and Thomas; and her sister, Dorothy Cliff.

Nancy Irene Stewart Zeuner
Nancy Irene Stewart Zeuner, 73, passed away on January 16, 2016.
Nancy, Mom, Ma-maw had many interests and they all involved her family. She loved doing arts and crafts, sewing, reading, puzzles, crossword and word searches, coloring and cruising the neighborhood on her decorated scooter.
She was our matriarch, our rock. She never judged, always supported and always allowed us to be who we wanted to be. She was our dream supporter. She will truly be missed.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jon.
Nancy is survived by her children, Deborah, Dawn, and Donald, her brother Ross, sister-in-law Lynda, her sister, Alice; her grandchildren, Sara, Jennette, Jessica, Beth-Anne, Emily, David, Dustin, and Carl; her great-grandchildren, Nasir, Isaac, Eric, Jordan, Michael, Jaedyn, and Ares.
Her funeral service and burial will be private.

John J. Franco, Jr.
John J. Franco, Jr., 75, a resident of Secane, Pa., passed away peacefully on February 14, 2016 at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa. surrounded by his loving family.
John was a resident of Secane for the last 22 years. He was employed as an inspector at Boeing for 40 years until his retirement.
A Mason, he was a member of the Lansdowne Masonic Lodge for many years.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was devoted to his family.
John was predeceased by his son, John J. Franco, III; and his two stepsons, Brian and Dean.
SURVIVORS: John is survived by his loving wife, Joan; his daughter, Tracy (Darin) Bevard; his step-children, Joanie, Joseph, Jr., Darren, and Thomas; his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy E. Gibson
Nancy E. Gibson, age 82, of Swedesboro, N.J. and formerly of Norwood, Pa., died at peace on March 30, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Gibson was born in Philadelphia to the late Hazel and Clara Mae Bailey and retired from a career in banking as a branch manager. Mrs. Gibson was a lifelong sports fan and held a special love for her dog, “Nipper”.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence H. “Pete” Gibson.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by her son Paul (Phyllis); loving grandsons, Timothy (Claire) and Kyle; cherished great-grandsons, Nolan and Elliot; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 5th, at 10 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074.
Friends may call on Monday evening, April 4th, from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
Her burial will be at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Monroe Township, N.J.

Roger L. Gasslein
Roger L. Gasslein, 73, a resident of Coatesville, passed away on March 29, 2016. Born in Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice Gasslein.
Roger was employed by Boeing Helicopters for 40 years as an accountant. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Ridley Park for 45 years. He most recently attended Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Malvern.
Roger enjoyed flowers, the beach, and animals. Because of his cheerful and caring personality, he truly made an impact on everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Christine Wegmann Gasslein. He is also survived by his children, Kimberly (Michael) Olsan, Robin (Rich) Beck, and Gregory (Jessica) Gasslein. He was also the loving grandfather of Max, Alexandra, Mark, Kim, Kyle, Moriah, Addison, J.R., and Aiden.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 4th, at 10 A.M., at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 89 Line Road, in Malvern, Pa. 19355.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3rd, from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and on Monday, April 4th, from 8:30 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the church.
Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa.

Florence V. Veacock
Florence N. Veacock, 83, a resident of Newark, Delaware and formally of Holmes, Pa., passed away peacefully on March 25, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James.
She was a loving mother to James Veacock (Kathy), Linda Horton (Ron), John Veacock, Kathy Veacock, and Joan Gentile (John).
She was a cherished Mom-Mom to 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Florence was also survived by her brother, Jack Empson; and her sister, Jean Welch.
She also leaves behind many friends whose lives she touched over the years.
Her Funeral Service and interment will be private.

Rudolph F. Pearl
Rudolph Frank Pearl, 85, known as Rudy to his friends, passed from this life to the next on March 23, 2016 at Paoli Memorial Hospital.
Rudolph was born in Philadelphia and lived most of his life in Norwood, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam; his children; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
A Visitation period will be on Thursday, March 31st, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Norwood United Methodist Church, 315 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 A.M.
His interment will be private.

Roberta "Bobbe" Hart
Roberta “Bobbe” Hart (nee Marcoux), 81, of Darby, Pa., died Tuesday, March 15th surrounded by her loving family at Vitas Hospice at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby.
She was born in 1934 in Waterbury, CT and moved to Pennsylvania in the 1960’s where she remained a long time resident of Darby. Bobbe was a waitress at the Blue Comet and Empire Diner in Lansdowne, Pa. for over 25 years and had a long list of regular customers.
Bobbe was fascinated by travel books and was an avid doll collector. Known for her sharp wit and fantastic sense of humor, Bobbe was cherished by many. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Bobbe spent her last few years in the company and care of her daughter, Leslie. Together they enjoyed summer trips to Cape Cod visiting family.
She was the daughter of the late John and Marguerite Marcoux and the sister of Margaret “Peggy” Swan of Naugatuk, CT, niece Sharon Bosco and great-niece Madeline Bosco of Middlebury, CT.
Bobbe is survived by her four children, Leslie Hart, Shelly McEneaney, Greg Hart of Darby and Judy Patterson of Cleveland, TN. She is predeceased by her son Jon Hart and great-granddaughter Raven Rose Black. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated for Bobbe on Friday, March 18th, at 10 A.M. at Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1101 Main Street, in Darby, Pa. 19023.
There will be a visitation period on Friday from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the church.
Her burial will be private.
