Ernest Victor "Big Vic" De Marco, Jr.
Ernest Victor De Marco Jr. "Big Vic", 69, of Sharon Hill, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Ernesto Vittorio and Jennie (nee Merola) De Marco.
Mr. De Marco was in the US Navy for 10 years and served on the USS Hissem DER-400. He was a Life Time member of the VFW Post 928 in Folsom. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and devoted friend to many.
He is survived by his wife Liudmila (nee Shirobukova); his children, Jo Ann (Andrew) Leake, Michael L. (Helena) De Marco, Anna Marie De Marco, and his Stepson Anton De Marco; and 6 grandchildren (Andrew Leake, Joshua Leake, Matthew Leake, Victoria Leake, Adrianna De Marco, and Michael De Marco. He is also survived by his sister, Josephine (late or pre-deceased Walter) Tiemeyer and 2 nieces, Cindy Tiemeyer, and Debbie (John) Miller.

Amaryllis J. Bauer
Amaryllis J. (nee Sterner) Bauer, age 80, of Holmes, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at home.
Born in Allentown, she had been a resident of Holmes since 1958.
Mrs. Bauer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Walter A. Bauer; her children, Anthony, James (Carol), Scott Sr. (Joanne), and Jan Marie; her brother, Richard Sterner; and her sister, Patricia Bartynski. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott, Jr., Michael, Christopher, Joshua, Rachel, Sarah, Alexandra, and Andrew; and her great-grandchildren, Everly and Logan.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, where friends may call after 9 a.m.
Interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Margaret "Peg" Jones
Margaret “Peg” (nee Manning) Jones, age 91, of Prospect Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Little Flower Manor in Darby.
Peg grew up in Norwood, PA and proudly attended GlenNor High School with perfect attendance for all 12 years of her education. She enjoyed special friendships with her sorority sisters and had maintained those friendships since high school.
Peg was devoted to her church and her faith, and took part in all of the church’s activities. She was employed as a secretary at St. James Episcopal Church in Prospect Park and held that position for almost 50 years.
Words cannot express how much Peg will be missed by her family and friends, all of whom are blessed to have been a part of this very special lady’s life. She was always so giving, and always put everyone before herself. Peg always had a smile and never let her deafness interfere with anything.
Peg was predeceased by her parents, Leroy “Shorty” and Beatrice Le Tourneau Manning; her husband, Clarence “Jonesy” Jones; her daughter, Margaret Ann Jones; and her brother, Francis Manning.
Peg was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Peg is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Rick) Ford; her grandsons, George Faulkner, John Faulkner, and Sean Dyer; and her great-granddaughters, Alexis Faulkner and Alyssa Subers. She is also survived by her nice, nephew, and cousins.

William G. "Bill" Campbell
William G. “Bill” Campbell, 72 of Collingdale died Friday, July 5, 2013 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia on July 7, 1940, he was the son of the late George and Louise Truxton Armbruster.
Bill was a Navy and Air Force Veteran. He was employed for over 40 years with Maritime Electronics in Collingdale where he was currently serving as President.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brother George Armbruster.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Williams Campbell and children Jeannie (David) Watkins, Lori Bennani, Margie (Joseph) Way, Bill Campbell and Tina Green. He is also survived by two brothers Jack and Joey Armbruster, sister Margi Rivera, 10 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Monday, July 15, 2013 10 am to 12 noon at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood.
Private Burial will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
John F. Hudak
John F. Hudak, 88, a 57-year resident of Prospect Park, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Julia Kalinak Hudak. He was the eldest of the 11 Hudak siblings; Ann, Mary, Helen, Pauline, Florence, Bill, George, Julie, Mike and Dorothy
He was a graduate of Bok Vocational School, where he studied Machine Design. Always a handyman, John learned to become an accomplished carpenter and builder.
Mr. Hudak was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the South Pacific as a Naval photographer. He was employed as a lithographer in the printing industry and was a member of the Graphic Communications International Union.
He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Diane Marucci.
Mr. Hudak is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen Socha Hudak; his children, Kathy Hudak, Mary Lou (Craig) Lafreniere, John Hudak, Jr., and Charles (Jean) Hudak; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Elizabeth, Ryan, Allison, Jack, Brittany, Jessica, Charlie, Scott, Jill, and Mark. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Gabriel Church, Mohawk & Seminole Aves., Norwood, where friends may call after 10 a.m.
Burial is private.

George R. Hagerty
George R. Hagerty, 85 of Glenolden died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Taylor Hospital Hospice.
Born in Philadelphia to the late John & Emilie Currie Hagerty, Mr. Hagerty was a longtime resident of Glenolden. He was a graduate of Darby High School and attended the Philadelphia College of Art for 3 years before being entering the Service. He was an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.
Mr. Hagerty retired after more than 30 years from H.K. Porter where he was employed as a furnace operator. He had also worked for Clifton Precision.
Mr. Hagerty was an accomplished artist best known to his family and friends for his paintings and drawings.
Along with his parents he is predeceased by his son Larry Michael Hagerty and brother Jack Hagerty.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Mildred A. Bashore Hagerty and his nephew, Jay Hagerty and family.

Leonard Wayne Tarlecki
Leonard Wayne Tarlecki, 79 of Drexel Hill died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Vitas Hospice at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.
Born in Bridgeport, PA to the late Maria Nettie and Francis Tarlecki Mr. Tarlecki was an Army National Guard and Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean War.
He was retired administrator for the Downtown Home for Jewish Aged where he was employed for 20 years. In his leisure he enjoyed cooking, vacations and holidays with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Joan Dolan Tarlecki and three sons Ryan (Sandra), Wayne (Jennifer) and Gary Tarlecki. Also surviving are two grandsons Tyler and Hunter and great-granddaughter Layla.

Kathryn Lesko "Kay" Weindel
Kathryn Lesko Weindel, age 86, formerly of Essington, Pa. was taken by her angels on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Born in Chester, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Jaricz Lesko.
Kay was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family. She was a gifted seamstress and an accomplished cook. In her earlier years, she was an active member of St John’s Episcopal Church and could always be found in the church kitchen. She also enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Charles S. Weindel, and her children Edward & Rita Weindel, Dee Rose Rathke, Charles V. & Cherie Weindel and Eva & Steven Visco. Her surviving sisters include: Mary Kish, Olga (Elle) Kranyak and Ruth Sorrentino. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Seaman, Heather Weindel-Irons & Lindsay Weindel, Christopher and Melissa Weindel, Whitney and Gretchen Rathke, Stephanie, Vittoria, Steven, and Antonio Visco and her great-grandchildren Jordan Stephney and Christian Irons.
Communion services and interment will be held at The Episcopal Church of St. John the Evangelist, 16 West Third Street, Essington, PA 19029 on July 5, 2013 at 10AM.

Helen Marie Taylor
Helen Marie Taylor (nee Chichericco), 67, originally of Philadelphia, currently residing in Swarthmore, was called home to be one of God’s angels on June 27, 2013, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Pantaleone and Frances Orlando Chichericco.
Helen was employed at several places before retiring from Dr. Dennis Hoffman’s dental practice in 2008.
Helen was a regular on “American Bandstand” in her youth.
She enjoyed dancing, crafts, and cake decorating. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, both her immediate family, and her nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She inspired all who knew her and was an example of what one can achieve by sheer force of will. Her smile and laughter could brighten up a room and she held on to this spirit until the very end. To know her was to love her.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 46 years, George Taylor, her children, Steven Taylor, Ken (Dawn) Taylor, and Kim (Edward) Smith and her grandchildren Nigel, Jackson, Emily, and Joselyn, She is also survived by her brothers, John and Jim (Kathy) Chichericco, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10-11 a.m. at Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood, where there will be a Funeral Service at 11 am.
Her interment will be in Media Cemetery.

Deborah T. "Deb" Davis
Deborah T. “Deb” Davis, of Prospect Park, proprietor of Davis Trading Post, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Born in Ridley Park, she was the daughter of the late David “Mint” and Betty Culbertson Davis. Deb was a graduate of Interboro High School and Elizabethtown College. She was the third-generation proprietor of Davis Trading Post in Norwood, where she worked from the age of 12. She was a member of the Norwood Historical Society, and of Women in Touch of Spruce Street Baptist Church in Newtown Square. Deb was a world traveler and an artist of China painting. She performed in many theater shows, and was a proud patron of all the arts.
Deb’s family would say she was “perfect in every way”. Her moral character was exceptional as she passionately lived by her values of honesty, generosity, hard work and kindness to all.
She was the niece of the late Mary Davis and the aunt of the late Ginger Davis-Spor. Deb is survived by her beloved companion Rick Bentz, her siblings Candace (Eric Spor) Davis, Elizabeth “Lisa” Davis, David W. (Marie) Davis, Jr., Tracy K. Davis, and Jamey (Maria) Davis, and her nieces and nephews Candace, Lesley, Aja, Emma, Minter, Connor, Crystal, Jamey Elizabeth and Amber. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and her in-laws, Fred and Grace Bentz.
