Some years later, Nick and Ronald Lee formed a business enterprise, Automatic Coin Vending Company. Nick employed his many connections and relationships to help develop a strong and loyal business following in Chester and the immediate vicinity. He valued his customers and they him. He showed unswerving loyalty to them and over time, many of those customers became his friends. Nick did not judge people by what he was told or by what they had, rather by who they were.

Other: Nick's strongest passion was his family, especially his grandchildren. He also had many interests. As a youth he loved horses. That interest waned little over the years. He also possessed an abiding interest in professional sports and expressed an affinity for the Phillies, the Yankees and the Redskins. He was a participant in civic organizations and attained the position of Exalted Ruler of the Chester Elks Club.
