EDUCATION: Graduated Nether Providence High School Class of 1939
EMPLOYMENT: First Pennsylvania Bank as a Bookkeeper until her retirement in 1982.
PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: A & P Market, 30th Street, Philadelphia from 1970 to 1976 as a Bookkeeper, Boeing in the Credit Union from 1966 to 1970. Sun Ship as a Bookkeeper on and off from 1940 to 1966
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Attended Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Ridley Twp., PA
Other: A wonderful Christian woman who lived a life of faith and will be greatly missed by her daughter. She also enjoyed the family pet cat, Luke. Was a member of the Eastern Star for many years.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her only daughter and best friend: Holly Iris Ricks of Crum Lynne, PA.

Ruth Riddle a devoted family woman

SURVIVORS: She is survived by Two Daughters: Donna Akers of Wilmington, DE and Theresa M. Weeks of Middletown, Delaware; Three Sons: Wayne Guyer of Marcus Hook, PA, John P. (Lisa) Riddle, Jr. of Parkside, PA and Richard (Tina) Riddle, Exeter, PA; A Sister: Delores Boscola of Aston, PA; Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

Rigby, Marjorie Irons
Marjorie Irons Rigby, 95, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007 while residing at Lima Estates.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Media, having joined in about 1925. She was an exceedingly active member there until a scant few years ago, having served variously as a Teacher and Department head of the Sunday School and Director of the Summer Vacation Bible School. Also very involved in the former Women's Association, the Wesleyan Service Guild, serving on the Church's Board of Mission and Social Concern and in planning and preparation for many of the Church's fellowship dinners. Together with her husband she was an adviser-leader of the Youth Fellowship and Church Delegate to the Silver Bay Missions Conference in Wisconsin. For many years she and her husband spearheaded the Church's support of a missionary family in Africa.
Additional and for 30 years, she was deeply committed to the work of the Methodist Home for Children, in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary, serving as a project volunteer and president.
Mrs. Rigby's life was a shining example of Christian faith and discipleship, and this commitment to Christ and Church has not been lost on her children and granddaughters, and they celebrate this as they remember her. They thank God for her constant and caring love for them and pay tribute to her in the words of Proverbs 31. 1-31.
She was the widow of George S. Rigby of Media, who died in 1971.

Pearsall of Lansdowne, PA; Also survived by Three Grandchildren: Amy Pearsall (Paul) Hessler, Beth Pearsall (Christopher) Gibble and Jill Pearsall (James ) Strub; Five Great-Grandchildren: Jayne, Meghan and Kiera Hessler and Thomas & Lindsey Gibble.

VETERAN: US Army serving during the Korean Conflict
EMPLOYMENT: Craig Testing Laboratories as a Concrete Inspector, Mays Landing, New Jersey where he has been employed for 14 years.
PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: Log Town Fence Company, Glen Mills, PA for 8 years and prior to working for Log Town Fence Company he worked for Turner Construction for 16 years. After his service with the US Army he began working for The INA Insurance now known as Cigna Insurance Company as a Safety and Audit Inspector for 8 years. While employed with INA Insurance he met his wife, Blanche.
ORGANIZATIONS: Mr. Ritter loved his family, the outdoors and his dogs. He was passionate about reading, the history of past Wars especially World War II, discussing politics, scientific discovery's and the space programs. A sport enthusiast he enjoyed Philadelphia sport teams. He was a member of Media VFW
SURVIVORS: Survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Blanche E. (nee Hrubos) Ritter; Three Daughters: Carol L. (Larry) Adams of Rising Sun, Maryland, Gail E. (Vincent Zabielski) Ritter of Greenwich, New Jersey and Joyce I. (Douglas) Heisler of Downingtown, PA; One Sister: Mary Jane King of Toronto, Canada; Also survived by Five Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Wertz, Claire A. Zabielski, Adam B. Zabielski, Grace M. Zabielski and David C. Zabielski.

Roberts, Elizabeth A.
Elizabeth A. (nee Singer) Roberts age 103 of Media, PA died on Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Sterling Nursing Home, Media, PA.
Born in Chester County, Pa she had been a lifelong resident of the Media area.
Mrs. Roberts was a LPN nurse at Crozer Hospital and later at Riddle Memorial Hospital until retiring from nursing in 1986.
She was a graduate of the Chester Hospital School of Nursing.
A former member of the Middletown Baptist Church; shethe Eastern Star where she was a past Worthy Matron.
Wife of the late Raymond Roberts who died in 1962; she is survived by a niece who cared for her Barbara Darlington of Wawa, Pa. She was the sister of the late Margaret Hartranft and Tryone, Ernest and George Singer.
Funeral Services followed by Interment in Cumberland Cemetery, Middletown Twp., will be private.
