Other: A man devoted to his home and family. He was a caregiver for his wife of 69 years and his son, Arthur. He always maintained a positive outlook and had an engaging sense of humor and love of life. In 1954, with the help of friends, he built his own home in only 6 months. Null, Sr., Wayne A.
LEWISBERRY - Wayne A. Null, Sr., 41, of Lewisberry, died at 4:20 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2001, at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Connie S. (Lewis) Null.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 22nd, at Mt. Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave., York. There will be no viewing. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Null was born April 27, 1960, in York, PA. He was the son of Edgar Null of York and the late June E. (Heistand) Null.
Mr. Null was a member of the 9th Ward Republican Social Club.
Mr. Null is also survived by two sons, Wayne A. Null, Jr. and Shaun R. Null, both of Lewisberry; four brothers, Walter Null of York, Larry Null of Dover, Glenn Null of Houtzdale, and Michael Small of York; two stepbrothers, Gene Keller and Melvin Keller, Jr., both of York; three sisters, Joyce Rice, Sandra Morthland and Virginia Stough, all of York; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the graveside service will be the Reverend Larry Billet of Andersontown Church.
Nunemaker, Jack E.
Jack E. Nunemaker, 76, of Cherry Hill, died Wednesday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Phila. He was an Applications Engineer at PECO in Philadelphia for 37-1/2 years. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1943 and from Hiram College in Ohio in 1949, where he was President of Kappa Psi. He was a Bombardier in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was formerly a member of the George H. Imhof American Legion Drum and Bugle Corps and Reilley’s Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps.
He was also a member of Covenant Excelsior Lodge 456, F & AM, American Legion Post 372, US Power Squadrons, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc, the National Pilots Assoc, the Association of Flight Instructors and the Quiet Birdmen. He was also District Commodore for the 3rd District United States Coast Guard Auxillary in 1962-1963.
He is the beloved husband of Adele (nee Hendrie). Loving father of Ward J. Nunemaker and his wife Suzanne of Stratford, Jack W. Nunemaker of Cherry Hill, Jill J. Rossi and her husband Dean of Lumberton, Richard H. Hendrie and his wife Deb of Paradise, PA, David J. Hendrie and his wife Shifra of Morristown, and Gail E. Mossop and her husband Ed of Gibbstown. He is the devoted grandfather of 20, great grandfather of 3, brother of Jean Cornelius and her husband Charles of Elkins Park, PA, and nephew of Wilhelmina Boegly of Germantown. He is also survived by his former wife Molly A. Nunemaker.

EDUCATION: Attended the University of Connecticut, interrupted by a U S Army enlistment.
EMPLOYMENT: Retired in 1985 after 48 years with the Pennsylvania State Employment Service, where he was Manager of the Chester Office for 32 years.
VETERAN: Enlisted in the US Army in 1942, attaining the rank of LT Col in the Army Reserves.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Church of SS Simon & Jude, Westtown, PA
Other: Mr. O'Donnell was an avid Photographer. He received many awards through his State and Community activates, and has worked on various projects for the employment of Veterans, handicapped persons and numerous Community activities. He has been active in the American Legion for over 60 years, serving as past Commander of Post 190, Past Commander of the Delaware County Committee and the 8th District serving both Delaware and Chester Counties. He was Chairman of the Delaware County Vocational Technical School Advisory Committee for over 17 years and Chairman of the Delaware County Naturalization Committee for over 50 years. He was recipient of both the Themis award and the Liberty Bell Award from the Delaware County Bar Association.
Brother of the late Francis, James, William and John O'Donnell and Marjorie Wellemeyer.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joanne (nee Simmons) O'Donnell; A Sister: Mary Burke of Broomall, PA; A Brother: Robert O'Donnell of Mound, Minn; Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
