She enjoyed Bethany Beach and reading romance novels. An animal lover especially horses and dogs.

Norton, Wayne R.
Wayne R. Norton, a Horticulturist, 56 of Middletown Twp., Media, PA. Died on July 16, 2009 at Pennsylvania Hospital. Born in Doylestown, he had been a resident of Middletown Twp., Media for 30 years.
Graduate of Hatboro Horsham High School Class of 1970
Mr. Norton received an Associate Degree in Ornamental Horticultural from Temple University, BS Degree in Ornamental Horticultural from Penn State University and received his Masters Degree from Widner University.
He was employed as a Horticultural Instructor at Upper Darby High School and previously worked as an Instructor at Williamson Trade School in the Horticultural Department. He also was the owner/operator at Rose Valley Nursery and Highmeadow Gardens.
Mr. Norton was a very active member of Reformation Lutheran Church. He served as a Lector, Usher and Sunday School Teacher.
He was devoted to his home and family and was particularly attached to his wife's family.
Served as the First President of Media Sunrise Rotary Club and was a member through Upper Darby High School of the Future Farmers of America and was involved for over 20 years in the Philadelphia Flower Show including winning best in the show.
He also volunteered with the USO where he welcomed soldiers returning from a tour of duty. Wayne loved gardening, nature and reading.
Son of the late Stella (nee Jonescu) Norton and brother of the late Valerie Norton.
SURVIVORS: Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Long) Norton; Loving father of two sons: Brett (Iumele) Norton of Media, PA and Brandt R. Norton of Media, PA, Two Daughters: Brynne S. Norton of Media, PA and Brianne S. (Dave) Caruso of Media, PA; Son of Charles T. Norton. Dear Brother of Joann Robbins of Albany, NY, Beverly Boyette of Quakertown, PA, Nancy Toner of Ireland and Linda Norton of Lansdale; His mother-in-law Sara E. Born in Shamokin, Pa, Mrs. Nowsatka moved to Brookhaven, PA in 1954.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Attended The Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA for 50 years, where she was a member of the Charitains.
Other: Mrs. Nowsatka was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was devoted to her home and family. She was known for her generosity, love of cooking and playing bridge. She will be especially missed by her best friend and loving daughter, Carol. She was one of two surviving children from a family of 13.
Wife of 67 years to the late Ray Nowsatka who died in 2005.
