Kathleen P. (nee Garvey) Murphy of Aston Twp., PA and formerly of Parkside, PA died on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at home. Born in Chester she had been a resident of Parkside before moving to Aston Twp., 10 years ago.
She was a graduate of Chester High School and had been employed by the County of Delaware for 10 years in the Register of Wills.
She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph in Aston, PA and a former member of the Church of Our Lady of Charity in Brookhaven, PA.
She was the wife of the late Robert H. Murphy and she is survived by 2 daughters: Eileen (Claude) McAllister of Townsend, DE and Mariann (Jay) Godwin of Media, PA. She is the sister of Rita Ryan of Springfield, PA.

Murphy, SND, Sister Veronica
Sister Veronica Murphy, SND, of Villanova, died on Saturday, November 20th at the Monmouth County Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Sister was attending a retreat with the Senior Class from the Academy of Notre Dame.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Muldoon Murphy. Sister had formerly served in Baltimore, Maryland, where she taught first grade at St. Ursula Parish School for over twenty years. A former first grade student, Bishop W. Francis Malooly will preside at Sister's funeral liturgy. While in Baltimore, she was known as Sister Marie Thomas.
Sister has been a member of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur community for over sixty-three years. While at the Academy of Notre Dame, Sister taught in the Junior School, tutored, and assisted in the library. She loved teaching literature and language arts, and enjoyed raising African violets. Sister has been at the Academy for twenty-nine years, where she was known for her warm smile and generous spirit.
She is survived by her sister, Sister Marie Marguerite, SND, of New Castle, Delaware.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 23, 11:30 A.M. at the Church of Saint John Neumann in Bryn Mawr where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.

EMPLOYMENT: A Duie Pyle, Inc as a Driver for 10 years until his retirement in the late 1980's. PRIOR EMPLOYEMENT; Ewing Transportation as a Driver/Dispatcher for 40 years until they closed.
ORGANIZATIONS: A man who was devoted to his home and family. He and his family loved vacations in Ocean City, Maryland and he especially enjoyed boating and fishing. Mr. Murray enjoyed his work and never missed a day of work in 40 years. He was a member of the Teamsters.
Husband of the late Loretta (nee Guydes) Murray.
Father of the late Dawn Ahearn and Stephen Murray.

Myers, Mary A.
Mary A. (Bechtel) Myers, 79, of York, died, Thursday, September 13, 2001, at York County Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Grant L. Myers.
A graveside service will be private at the convenience of the family. The Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Myers was born February 21, 1922, in York, PA. She was the daughter of the late Franklin S. and Mima S. (Lightner) Bechtel.
Mrs. Myers was employed by Georgia Pacific, formerly St. Regis Paper Co., in Mount Wolf; prior to that, she was a weaver at York Wire. She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Mrs. Myers is survived by four sons, Gerald L. Myers of Mt. Wolf, Gene L. Myers of Manchester, Goey L. Myers of Mt. Wolf and David F. Myers of York; a daughter, Ginger L. King of Mountville; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Bechtel of Shiloh; and four sisters, Dorothy Smith and Mildred Eshelman both of Jacobus, Mae Anderson of Manchester and Ruth Anderson of Colorado Springs, CO. Mrs. Myers was also preceded in death by a great grandchild.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Edward J. Rowand, of Rohler's Assembly of God in Dover.
