EDUCATION: Mr. Mitchell was a graduate of Springfield High School.
EMPLOYMENT: Long Distant Truck Driver with Robbins Motor Transportation for 27 years until his retirement in 1981.
VETERAN: Served during World War II
ORGANIZATIONS: A man devoted to his home and family especially his grandson David (Katie) Hancox who was like a son to him and lived close by. He never missed a day to spend time with him. He was a member of the American Legion Post #926, Aston, PA and The Killen Miles Post #87, Aston, PA.
SURVIVORS: Survived by his Beloved Wife Edna J. (nee Terry) Mitchell; A Daughter: Linda Hancox of Aston, PA; Two Sons: Steven (Carolyn) Mitchell of Media, PA and Walter H. (Susan) Mitchell, Jr. of Millsboro, Delaware; Also survived by Nine Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren.

MITCHELL, HORACE H.
On November 28, 2001, of Cherry Hill. Age 69. Beloved husband of June T. (nee Tuomi) Loving father of Carol McGinley and her husband Brian Of Hillsborough, NJ, Thomas Mitchell and his wife Alyce of Gibbsboro, NJ, And Kathryn Mitchell of Cherry Hill. Devoted grandfather of Laura, Meghan and Kelli McGinley; and Ryan and Ethan Mitchell. Brother of Arthur Mitchell of Hobe Sound, FL. Mr. Mitchell was a 1950 Graduate of Lansdowne High School, and a 1954 Graduate of Penn State University.
He worked for the US Forest Service in Northern California, then joined the US State Department in San Francisco, later moving to their offices in San Antonio, New York and Phila. He retired in 1989 as Special Agent in Charge of the Philadelphia Field Office. He was a member of Brotherhood Lodge F & AM in San Francisco and the Southeastern Chiefs of Police Association, and also active
In other Masonic and law enforcement organizations. He enjoyed gardening and was a Penn State Football fan. Lillian Clark Mitchell AGE: 90

BORN IN: Philadelphia, PA
She had been a resident of Malvern for 23 years before moving to Granite Farms Estate 21 years ago.
EDUCATION: Graduate Prospect Park High School Class of 1935

EMPLOYED: Bryn Mawr Hospital for several years as a Nurse and volunteered in nursing homes for 50 years.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member of Middletown Presbyterian Church.
Lillian had a fulfilled life as a wife to George, and as a mother and enjoyed her volunteer activities.
She began her Christian walk at 12 years of age at the Prospect Park Presbyterian Church. She taught Sunday School Christian Endeavor, served as a Deacon at Paoli Presbyterian Church and was the first female Deacon in the State of Pennsylvania at St John Presbyterian Church, Devon, PA.
She was a Questor, Garden Club member and was an associate member of the Early American Decorators Society. Her interests were quilting, water color and theorem painting. She was also a well known Theorem Artist.
Loving wife of 54 years to the late George W. Mitchell who she married in 1939.
SURVIVORS: Survived by Two Sons: Clark Barry Mitchell of Jackson, New Jersey and George Wayne Mitchell of Glenmoore, PA; Also survived by Five Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.

OF: Life long resident of Delaware County
DIED: Thursday, April 19, 2007 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin following a lengthy illness. She was born September 14, 1920 in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred Pancoast.
A Graduate of Chester High School and West Chester State Teachers College.
EMPLOYED: Chester High School as a substitute teacher for music and English.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Active in several church ministries and was a long-time Sunday school teacher.
Other: Jane played the harp and taught piano. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Jane was married to the late Franklin H. Mitchell for 49 years.

Donald) Ritsman of Cedar Grove, WI; A Son: Mark (Judy) Mitchell of Havertown, PA; Nine Grandsons: Mark and Matthew Ritsman, Jonathan, Andrew (Sarah), Timothy (Kristan), Stephen, Mark, Peter and Ethan Mitchell; Three Sisters: Emerene Brennan of Folsom, Elaine Di Paola of Quakertown and Martha Perchalski of Swarthmore, PA.
SERVICE INFORMATION: Memorial Service for Jane will take place at North Chester Baptist Church, Chester, PA on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment Chester Rural Cemetery.
