EMPLOYMENT: Math Teacher for 30 years. She taught in the Garnet Valley School District for most of her teaching career until her retirement. Mrs. Miller started working for Chichester, Wallingford/Swarthmore and Penn Delco School Districts before going to Garnet Valley.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA. Mrs. Miller and her husband Bernard were both active members at the Church serving with Church Carnivals, Fashion Shows and other Church affairs.
Other: A woman who enjoyed her home and was devoted to her family. Member of the Garnet Valley Education Association and St James Band Association. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Miller-Elliott, Lee Ann
York - Lee Ann 'Cookie' (Gatewood) Miller-Elliott, 54 of York died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001 at Harbor Hospital Center, Baltimore, Md. She was the wife of Michael W. Elliott.
The service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22nd at the Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miler-Elliott was born Apr. 5, 1947 in York. She was the daughter of the late Stanley L and Doreen E. (Parr) Kendig.
She was a computer programmer at New Cumberland Army Depot, retiring in 1998 after more than ten years of service; she received numerous certificates of recognition for her work. She was a former member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Red Lion. She was a 1965 graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School and attended University of Pennsylvania's Computer Data Entry Program.
Mrs. Elliott also is survived by a son, Brandon S. Miller, York, two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Gatewood.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Stephany S. Sechrist, pastor at Zion United Methodist Church, Red Lion.
