ORGANIZATIONS: A loving and devoted mother and grandmother. An avid reader who also loved watching the old movie classics. She enjoyed cooking and trips to the beach at Ocean City, NJ. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her laughter and sense of humor.
Wife of the late William C. Martin who died in 1970 and sister of the late Patricia Hancharick who died in 2002.

Martin, Dr. Margaret Springer
Dr. Margaret Springer Martin, age 83 years of Charlotte, NC died on Monday, July 19, 2004 at Manor Care in Devon, Pa.
Born in Charlotte, NC, she had been a resident of Devon for the past 9 years.
She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Queens College in Charlotte, her Masters from George Washington University and her Doctoral (Ed. D.) from the University of Pennsylvania.
She was employed by Southern Railway and rose to the position of Director of Hostess Services in Washington, D.D. before moving to Pennsylvania, where she devoted most of her career as Psychologist for the Cumberland Valley School District.
Survived by her three sons, Hunter of Narberth, Berkeley of Aston and Michael of Richmond, and her granddaughter.
A private ceremony is planned at the Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home in Middletown Twp., Media, Pa.

EMPLOYED: Scott Paper Company in the early 1960's working in both Philadelphia and Eddystone.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Church of St Joseph, Aston, PA where she was a long time member.
Mrs. Martin enjoyed traveling and arranging trips to Williamsburg, Virginia.
Sister of the late James Wood.
SURVIVORS: Survived by her husband of 42 years Charles E. Martin, Sr; A Son: Charles E. Martin, Jr. of Miami, Florida; Three Daughters: Debra Hutzel of Long Island, New York, Christine Cylc of Aston, PA and Cherie Madani of Plano, Texas; A Sister: Marie Dutch of Lester, PA; Also survived by Eight Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

VETERAN: US Army serving in Germany for 2 years during the Vietnam era.
EMPLOYMENT: Merchant Marine working for Vane Line Bunkering Company until he became ill, he previously worked for Sun Company as a Merchant Marine in the Marine Division for 30 years.
ORGANIZATIONS: An outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Son of the late Elmer I. And Margaret Webb Martz. Brother of the late Eileen Titerence, June McLaurin and Margaret Cook.

Died on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in South Philadelphia moving to the North East (Bensalam Area) during his high school years. He had been a resident of Wallingford for 18 years until moving to Aston Twp. six years ago.
EDUCATION: Graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Class of 1971. He was voted all Catholic Football Player at Archbishop Ryan.
Attended LaSalle University of Philadelphia.
EMPLOYMENT: Vice President of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, where he had been employed from June of 1978-1993.

Other: Mrs. Mason served as a Girl Scout Leader and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Crozer-Chester Hospital and also did volunteer work at the hospital.
