SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife Catherine (nee Dattilo) Lofland; Two Daughters: Patricia Lofland of Brookhaven, PA and Debra Grandizio of Aston, PA; A Son: John Lofland of Aston, PA; Also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service and Interment wil be private. Arrangements by the Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middletown Twp., Media, PA.

DIED: Wednesday, October 18, 2006 AT: VA Hospital in Salem, Virginia BORN IN: Upland, PA to the late Carl F. and Alberta E. (nee Shinn) Long, Sr. HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Christiansburg, Virginia for 4 years.

EDUCATION: Graduate Chester High School Class of 1959

VETERAN: US Air Force serving State Side

EMPLOYED: Septa AS Driver for 32 years

ORGANIZATIONS: Mr. Long was an accomplished musician and could play several different instruments. He loved music and was a record collector. He played in Chester High School Band and the Air Force Band.

SURVIVORS:Survived by A Son: Thomas C. Long of Roanoke, Virginia; Two Brothers: Carl F. Long, Jr. of Christiansburg, Virginia and David W. Long of Dennisville, New Jersey.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Graveside Service and Interment 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA. Arrangements by the Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown Twp., Media, PA.
