Robert Earl Hoyt, Sr., 52 years of Dover, Delaware and formerly of Aston, PA, died on Saturday 12/06/2008 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Middletown Twp., PA. Mr. Hoyt had also lived in Parkside and Brookhaven, PA.
Mr. Hoyt was born at the Sheppard Air Force Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a graduate of Sun Valley High School Class of 1974.
Mr. Hoyt worked in the automobile industry for several dealerships in Delaware County and Delaware.
Mr. Hoyt was a former member of the Mount Hope United Methodist Church where he had sang in the youth choir.
Mr. Hoyt was a sports fan enjoying both the Eagles and Phillies. He also enjoyed the beach and music.
He is survived by his wife Susan L. (nee Achuff) Hoyt; One Son: Robert E. Hoyt, Jr; Two Daughters: Ashley G. Hoyt and Lauren C. Hoyt all of Aston, PA; He is the son of Charles Robert and Virginia (nee Hontz) Hoyt of Aston, PA; One Brother: Terry L. Hoyt and Two Sisters: Lorri B. Krushinski and Sharon V. Certo; Also survived by two special friends: Bruce D. Wright and Richard Goddu.
He was the father of the late Jared J. Hoyt.
Services Thursday 11:00 a.m. from Mount Hope United Methodist Church, 4020 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
