EMPLOYMENT: A secretary for Child Youth Services, Media, PA, as well as a Notary Public.

OTHER: Truly an angel among this earth to anyone who was lucky enough to know her. She will be terribly missed. Enjoyed Sunday dinners with family and spending time with her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also enjoyed day trips to Atlantic City.
Predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years, Paul F. Houser and a son Kenneth Houser of Mifflinburg, PA who died in 2005.
SURVIVORS: Survived by Three Sons: Paul R. Houser of Downingtown, PA; her devoted son Bob Houser, Sr of Media, PA who cared for her the last several years of her life and Ron Houser of Glen Mills, PA; also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

George W. Howarth, age 91 years, of Middletown Township died on Saturday August 26, 2006 at Naamans Creek Country Manor, Boothwyn, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA he had been a resident of Middletown Township for the past 55 years.
Mr. Howarth had been employed by the former Sun Ship Co., as a supervisor in the welding department for 48 years until his retirement.
Mr. Howarth enjoyed fishing, boating, and was a Philadelphia Sport's fan of the Phillies and Eagles..
He was a member of Fernwood Lodge #543 F&AM.
He was the husband of the late Rose Brislin Howarth who died in 2005. He is survived by two daughters; Georgia R. Smith of Chadds Ford, PA., and Barbara H. Wilson of Westtown, PA, also survived by six grandchildren & 5 greatgrandchildren.

Hoyt, Lavere Dieffenbach
Lavere Agetha Dieffenbach Hoyt, age 98 years of Aston Twp., PA and formerly of Shickshinny, PA died on Saturday 2/9/08 at Nammans Creek Country Manor, Bethel Twp., PA. Born in Bloomsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Kimberly Roy Dieffenbach and Susie A. Dietrich Dieffenbach.
She was a graduate of Scott Township High School of Espy, PA class of 1927. She attended Bloomsburg Normal School now Bloomsburg University and completed the two year teaching program in 1930. She also attended Susquehanna University and later returned to Bloomsburg for additional courses.
She taught elementary school in Huntington Township Schools, Orangeville Borough Schools and Chichester School District in Boothwyn, PA retiring in June of 1971.
Upon retirement they moved back to Shickshinny area where they were active with Town Hill United Methodist Church and the over 50 group.
She married Earl Granwell Hoyt in 1933 and they were married for nearly 56 years until his passing on January 10, 1989.
She is survived by her son, Charles Robert ( Virginia ) Hoyt; Four grandchildren:Robert E. Hoyt of Dover, DE, Terry L. Hoyt of Aston, PA, Lorri B. Krushinski of Upper Providence, PA and Sharon V. Certo of Aston, PA. 1 brother: Nevin L. Dieffenbach of Manheim, PA. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late H. Earl, C. Glenn, and Warren A. Dieffenbach and Ruth I. Bittenbender.
