ORGANIZATIONS: A woman devoted to her home and family. Essie served as Honorary Mayor of Riddlewood and Judge of Election. She was a member of The Middletown Twp Republican Committee and was a founding member of Riddlewood Swim Club. She was also an avid animal lover.
Wife of the late John M. "Jack" Hardcastle who died in 1991.
SURVIVORS: Survived by One Daughter: Phebe H. (Tom) Ellison of Media, PA; Two Sons: John (Lynn) Hardcastle of New Jersey and Mark (Jane) Hardcastle of Media, PA; Also survived by Seven Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.

Harrell, Nancy J.
Nancy J. Harrell, 56, of Belleplain, on May 28, 2009, the Lord came and took my angel with the heart of a lion. Born in Cape May Court House, she was raised in Fairview, then moved to Williamstown in 1970 and Ocean City in 1980 before moving to Belleplain 17 years ago. She was a cocktail waitress at the Sands for 26 years. She took care of her family and looked out for everyone she met. She loved to live, to laugh, and to cook- she loved entertaining for holidays, barbeques, and dinners. When you went out with her, you had to include lunch in the plans. She looked forward to waking up each morning to spend time with her great niece Taylor and to take care of her husband Larry, her loving dogs Patsy and Seancy, and her cat Pretty. She loved her many days with her partner in crime Aunt Splendora.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry E. Harrell; her father, Jacob Caprioni; her brothers and sisters, Rosemarie (James) Whitaker, Kathleen (Steve) Needelman, Joanne (Augie) Iacona, David (Diana) Caprioni, Carolyn (Dearan) McConnell, and Jacob (Rosalba) Caprioni, Jr.; her sister in law, Patricia J. Harrell; 18 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Caprioni.
Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's R.C. Church, 304 Clay Street, Woodbine. Viewing will be held at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House on Monday, June 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and then on Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite100, Bala Cynwyd, PA, 19004.
