Florida and Walter Graybeal of Florida; Two Sisters: Nellie Thomas of Gap, PA and Beulah Romans of Wilmington, Delaware; Also survived by Sixteen Grandchildren and Two Cousins: Mary Lou Southall of Havre DeGrace, Maryland and Edith Foland of Abingdon, Maryland. Also survived by his former wife Rose Bryant Graybeal.

Died: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center BORN IN: Pittston, PA, she had been a long-time resident of Garden City before moving with her daughter in Brookhaven 18 years ago.
EMPLOYED BY: E. J. Korvettes, Springfield for 20 years, as a Salesperson until her retirement in 1980
ORGANIZATONS: Mrs. Grayson was a woman devoted to her family especially her granddaughters and great-granddaughter. An avid Philadelphia sports fan she particularly enjoyed the Phillies and Flyers. She also loved to bowl in Delaware County.
She was the wife of the late Clinton B. Grayson who died in 1966.
SURVIVORS: Survived by A Son: Ronald F. Grayson of Willistown Twp., PA; Three Daughters: Donna M. Grayson with whom she lived of Brookhaven, PA, Anita L. Grayson of East Goshen, PA and Carol A. Grayson of West Chester, PA; Also survived by Two Grand-Daughters: Sandra Wolfe and Jillian Grayson and A Great-Grand-Daughter: Autumn Marie Wolfe.

Sister Diane was born in Darby, PA and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA. She became a member of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1957 and held degrees from Trinity College, Washington DC (BS), University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN (MS Physics), Boston College, Boston, MA (MS Pastoral Counseling), Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, VA (Dr. of Ministry)
During her early career, she held teaching and Science Dept. Chair positions in various schools from Queens Village, NY to Norfolk, VA including the Academy of Notre Dame, Villanova, PA from 1967 to 1970.
In 1977, she directed her focus to Campus and Young Adult Ministry and since then has held key positions:
Director of Campus Ministry, Old Dominion University, VA 1977-1980
Coordinator of Young Adult Ministry, Richmond, VA 1980-1988
Associate Director, Office of Campus and Young Adult Ministry, Diocese of Richmond, 1988-2002
Chairman of the Process Task Force for the Diocese of Richmond which published "We've Come This Far by Faith"-2002

Sister Diane had a heart for young people and a desire to focus on their needs within the Catholic Church. She believed in the ministry of reaching out to young adults and encouraging them to become leaders in their church. She was one of the pioneers in this ministry since the Diocese of Richmond was one of the first three dioceses in this country to address this need. She was the recipient of many certificates in this field and was featured in many articles:
"Diocese Promotes Program to Support Young Catholics" - The Catholic Virginian, 1990, "Church Makes Effort to Reach Young Adults, " Richmond Times-Dispatch - 1990, "Sister from Richmond Diocese Planted Seed for Pastoral Plan" - The Catholic Virginian - 1996, Tidings-Young Adult Ministry." - The Catholic Virginian - 1997, "Parishes Urged To Do More for Young Adults" - National Catholic Reporter - 2005, Connections, The Young Adult Newsletter for the Richmond Diocese.
She also began and facilitated "Summer Theologica" a program for the diocese - 1994 to present.
SURVIVORS: Survived by Three Brothers: William ( his wife Marty) Guy of Glen Mills, PA, Edward (his wife Carol) Guy of Ridley Park, PA and Daniel (his wife Patricia) Guy of Ridley Park, PA; She was "Aunt Diane" to Seven Nieces and Nephews and Four Grand Nephews and One Grand Niece.
Daughter of the late William John and Florina Eva (nee Palin) Guy.
