Virginia R. (nee Michaels) Georeno Ginny 76, of Aston and Formerly of the Stonehurst section of Upper Darby, died Nov. 27, at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Middletown.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Georeno graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1946 and worked for Bell Telephone Company, Sacred Heart Hospital and Penn DOT.
A direct descendent of one of the oldest families in Pennsylvania, she was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church for 30 years. She enjoyed swimming, ceramics and family picnics and activities. She also loved animals.
She was the daughter of the late Adam E. and Ruth Umholtz Michaels and the sister of the late William E. Michaels. She was predeceased by her husband of 24 years, Anthony Alphonso Georeno.
Survivors: Sons, Dr. Anthony A. Georeno of Pottstown, Richard W. Georeno of Brookhaven; Daughters: Ruthann Orner of Upland, Mary Catherine Georeno Zdankowski of Aston; five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Mt Hope United Methodist Church, Concord Road, Aston, PA
Visitation: After 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial: At the adjoining church cemetery.

OF: Aston, PA and formerly of Folsom Ridley Twp., Wallingford and Manhiem Lancaster County, PA.
DIED: Wednesday, April 16, 2008 AT the home of her daughter Born and raised in the Meadows, Southwest Philadelphia. Mrs. George resided in Folsom for 20 years than to Wallingford for 15 years before moving to Manhiem Lancaster County for 5 years when she moved to Aston, PA 3 years ago.

OF: Aston and formerly of Brookhaven and Crum Lynn, PA DIED: Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Riddle Memorial Hospital BORN IN: Chester, she had been a resident of Crum Lynn before moving to Aston, pa 55 years ago.

Other: Elizabeth was a woman who enjoyed her home and was devoted to her family. She loved taking family vacations with her children and grandchildren to Williamsburg, VA, Disney World, Orlando, Florida and to her summer home in Pocono Heights. She also enjoyed gardening and reading.
Wife of the late Calvin Francis George who died in 1983.
Grandmother of the late Erica E. Gallagher and Nicole M. Louisignau.

YORK - M. Isabel (Jordan) George, 82, of York, died at 4:35 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2001, at York Lutheran Home at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of Albert George.
The service will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 26th, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. The viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. George was born November 13, 1918, in York, PA. She was the daughter of the late George and Jennie (Bentzel) Jordan.
Mrs. George was a school teacher for Southern Middle School for 20 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in York and a former member of York Junior League and the New Freedom Women's Club.
Mrs. George is also survived by a son, Michael L. George of Sonoma, CA; a grandchild; a sister, Sara Bers of York; and two nieces.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Stanley W. Combs of Zion Lutheran Church in York.
