LORRAINE BARTUS

Lorraine Bartus, 68, of Penn Township, died Monday, July 10, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born April 2, 1932, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Sausto Fabio. She was a member of St. Barbara Church, Harrison City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Bartus, in 1996; a brother, Peter Fabio; and a sister, Carmella Fabio. She is survived by a son, Joseph M. and wife, Kristin Bartus, of Greensburg; a daughter, Lisa A. and husband, Guy Bloom, of Cordova, Tenn.; a brother, Anthony Fabio of Pittsburgh; two sisters , Mary Ann Dadey and Rose Marie Slope, both of Pittsburgh; and four grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Bartus, and Ethan and Hannah Bloom. Friends will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday (time later) in St. Barbara Church with the Rev. V. Paul Fitzmaurice as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Barbara Cemetery, Penn Township. A vigil service will be held Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

JOSEPH T. BELLERBY

Joseph T. Bellerby, 75, of Leeper, formerly of Larimer, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Bellerby of Leeper; two sons , Joseph M. Bellerby of Croydon and David W. Oskin of North Versailles; a daughter, Terri Hawk of Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Bill Fix of Irwin. Services were private.

VIOLA BRUNO

On Sunday, July 9, 2000, Viola Bruno, 83, of Irwin. Wife of the late Ralph Bruno. mother of Anthony Bruno of North Huntingdon and Ralph Bruno Jr. of Long Island, N.Y. Sister of Katherine Crimi of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Carl Grasso of Palm Bay, Fla. Also three grandchildren. She was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Visitation will be held in New York. Local arrangements by the TEICHART-GRACAN FUNERAL HOME, Duquesne.

JOSEPH G. BUKOVAC

Joseph G. Bukovac, 94, of Trafford, died Monday, July 10, 2000, in the Kane Regional Center, McKeesport. He was born Sept. 14, 1905, in Rankin, a son of the late Michael and Ludmilla Stazinski Bukovac. He was a former member of St. Mary's Church, Rankin, and a member of St. Regis Church, Trafford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers , Matthew, Peter, Steven, John, Frank and Mike; and a sister, Emily Giles. He is survived by a brother, George Bukovac of Trafford; two sisters , Elizabeth Garland of McKeesport and Barbara V. Bukovac of Level Green; two nephews, Ronald Bukovac and John R. Giles; and a niece, Louise Smith. There will be no public visitation; services will be private. Interment will be in the Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock Hills. Arrangements by the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME, Trafford.

RUTH I. (GOOD) DAVIS

Ruth I. "Dolly" (Good) Davis, 79, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Irwin, died Friday, July 7, 2000, at her residence. Born March 25, 1921, in Irwin, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ruth E. (Wampler) Good. She had been employed as a cafeteria worker at the Norwin School District. She was a member of the Sarasota Alliance Church and a former member of the Norwin Alliance Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin L. Davis, in 1994; and a brother, Donald Good. She is survived by a son and his wife, Dennis L. and Debbie Davis of North Huntingdon; a daughter and her husband, Dawna L. and the Rev. Ronald Hiers of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Paul Good of Spokane, Wash.; three sisters , Effie Neidigh, Nellie Mae Auckerman and Naomi Raling, all of Spokane, Wash.; and three grandsons, Waylon Davis, and Seth and Josh Hiers. Friends received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ronald Hiers officiating. Interment in Irwin Union Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Westmoreland Hospice, 532 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601-2282.

GEORGE DRAKULIC SR.

George "Geedy" Drakulic Sr., 78, of Wall, on Sunday, July 9, 2000. Son of the late Luka and Stana Drakulic. Husband of Eleanor (Peciniak) Drakulic. Father of George Jr. (Darlene), Gregory (Andrea), Gary, and Samuel (Diane) Drakulic. Grandfather of Amy Mularski, Gregory, Alisha, George III, Ashley, Luke and Lauren Drakulic. Brother of Anne Macesic and Helen Mochan, and the late Mildred Vracar, Katie, Michael and Nicholas "Bobo" Drakulic. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday until the time of service in the funeral home at noon, followed by services in St. Nicholas Serbian E.O. Church at 12:30 p.m. Pomen service in the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Drakulic was a long-time proprietor of Mosside Auto Service. He was a former NASCAR race car builder and owner (#39 Chevy). He was a charter member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #786. He was a private pilot, a professional bowler, and an avid chess player.

YVONNE C. ECKENROD

Yvonne C. Eckenrod Schomer, 88, formerly of Scottdale and Mt. Pleasant. Yvonne went to be with her savior Sunday, July 9, 2000. She was born May 17, 1912, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Silas W. and Louise Reese Eckenrod. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter J. Rolniak; her second husband, Edward A. Schomer; two brothers , Silas Eckenrod Jr. and George Eckenroad; three sisters , Ida Mae Franney Caliguire, Mary Louise Eckenrod, and Dorothy Beredine. She is survived by a brother, Charles Eckert; two sisters , Eleanor Stevens of Dothan, Ala., and Pearl Robert Tucci of Connellsville. Friends will be received at the LUTHER J. GRIMM FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Pleasant, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. D. Keith Solomon officiating. Private internment will be held in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.

RICHARD H. GUYER

Richard H. Guyer, 71, of Sylmar, Calif., formerly of Brackenridge, died at 4 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2000, in Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Mission Hills, Calif. He was born June 6, 1929, in Brackenridge, a son of the late Newton F. and Anna E. (Schwickert) Guyer. He was a resident of Los Angeles County for the past 39 years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in the construction industry, and formerly owned Guyer Beer Distributing in New Kensington. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a former member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, and was a member of Union Local #209 in Los Angeles, Calif. He was a graduate of the Har-Brack High School. He enjoyed gardening and flowers. Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. (McGraw) Guyer, of Sylmar, Calif.; and two brothers , Lester Guyer of Tampa, Fla., and John Guyer of Ratherum, Idaho. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers , Robert and Walter Guyer; and a sister, Helen Bordonaro. Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, where a blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Worship Site, Natrona Heights. Interment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.

SAMUEL MORTON HAZEL

Samuel Morton Hazel, 74, of New Stanton, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Feb. 9, 1926, in Greensburg, a son of the late J. Lester and Mary Black Hazel. Prior to his retirement on Feb. 29, 1988, he had been employed by TWA with 32 years of service. He was a member of Skyline Wesleyan Church, La Mesa, Calif., and was attending the Greensburg Alliance Church. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the TWA Retirees Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenny E. Hazel; four sisters , Janet Dunlap, Elinar Anthony, Helen Delaney and Jane Kester; and two brothers , the Rev. Glenn Hazel and Kenneth G. Hazel. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Miriam Jean (Sweitzer) Hazel; two sons , Dennis M. and his wife, Terry Hazel, of Round Rock, Texas , and Randall G. Hazel of Sewickley; a daughter, Elaine R. Hazel of New Stanton; five grandchildren, Steve, Greg, Doug, Colleen and Shelley Hazel; two sisters , Mary Garris of Monongahela and Jessie Powell of Lake Station, Ind.; a brother, John H. Hazel of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and many nieces and nephews. Friends received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Greensburg Alliance Church with the Rev. D. Roy Dail officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

IONA G. IACCONI

Iona G. "Leona" Iacconi, 73, of Brownsville, died Sunday, July 9, 2000. She was born April 21, 1927, in Millsboro, the daughter of Virginia Pepper Smith of Allison #2 and the late Fred Smith. Member of the Fort Burd Presbyterian Church, Brownsville. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, West Brownsville; sons of Italy, Rosa Garabaldi Lodge 1818, Brownsville; Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Lodge 1356, Brownsville; Women of the Moose Chapter 3000; the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; and the Degree of Honor. She received the 1997 Woman of the Year Award from the Eagles. In addition to her mother , she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tony Iacconi Sr.; three children, Tony Jr. and his wife, Jackie Iacconi, of Brownsville, Debra and her husband, Jeffrey Zigray, of Kingwood, W.Va., and Dana Iacconi and fiancee, Dee Mistry, of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Toni Marie and husband, Kevin Grace, Jason Iacconi and fiancee, Brianne Szuch, and Ethan Zigray; three great-grandchildren, Justin and Christopher Grace and Baileigh Iacconi; a brother, Homer and wife, Adrienne Smith, of New Salem; a brother-in-law, Pompeo and Ethel Iacconi of West Brownsville; a sister-in-law, Rose Iacconi of Youngstown, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her Father , she was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Smith. Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Clark officiating. Interment LaFayette Memorial Park.

PEARL E. (STEINBRUNN) JOHNSTONE

Pearl E. (Steinbrunn) Johnstone, 93, of Monroeville, died Sunday, July 9, 2000. Wife of the late Charles E. Johnstone (Latrobe). mother of Charles E. Johnstone of Florida, Jane E. Bender of Monroeville and Patricia A. Schwoeble of New Castle. Sister of Henrietta Munro of Johnstown. Also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME INC., 318 Wall Ave., Pitcairn, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.

STANLEY A. KRYSEVIG SR.

Stanley A. Krysevig Sr., 77, of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born May 3, 1923, in Greensburg, a son of the late John and Blanche Smudski Krysevig. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by PPG Industries of South Greensburg, and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters . He is survived by his wife, Margaret Blaine Krysevig; a son, Stanley A. Jr. and his wife, Carol Krysevig, of Greensburg; a daughter, Kathleen J. Dziuban of Greensburg; five grandchildren, Steven J. Krysevig, David L. Dziuban, Laura J. Dziuban, Daniel J. Dziuban and John L. Dziuban; two brothers , Jack Krysevig of Greensburg and Edward Krysevig of Baltimore, Md.; three sisters , Theresa Houston, Louise Myers and Florence Myers, all of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. VERNA C. LAMPROPLOS

Verna C. Lamproplos, 82, of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1917, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Merwin and Agnes Cassidy. Verna was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Greensburg and was a former medical secretary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth; and brothers , Gilbert and Raymond. She is survived by her husband, George W. Lamproplos; daughters , Karen Phillips of Sugar Grove, Ohio and Niki Lamproplos of Greensburg; a sister, Laurae Crossland of Industry; grandchildren, Jody Nikirk of Mt. Holly, N.J., and Joseph D. Nikirk III of Fort Bragg, N.C.; her dog, Socrates; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Christ Episcopal Church, N. Main Street, Greensburg, with the Rev. Ruth W.
