Other: A man devoted to his home and family. He loved music and was a member of the University of Pennsylvania Glee Club and served as President of Swarthmore Senior Citizens Association.

Also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
SERVICE INFORMATION: Memorial Service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, 727 Harvard Ave., Swarthmore, PA, where there will be a reception immediately following in the Church Fellowship Hall. Interment private.

BORN IN: Baltimore, MD she moved Aston, PA where she lived for 23 years before moving to Garden Spot Village three years ago.
EMPLOYMENT: A homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family and home
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member of the Church of Saint Joseph in Aston, PA.
Other: Josephine was known for making the best meatballs. She was a member of the Aston Senior Center and also devoted her time to making hats for cancer patients. She loved spending time with children. During WWII she worked for the war effort as a "Rosie the Riveter". She was also an active volunteer for the ongoing research being performed regarding Alzheimer's disease at Penn.
SURVIVORS: Loving mother of Dolores Gareis of Lancaster, PA and Joan C. Feige-Mueller of Spring City. Dear sister of Rita Weaver of Glen Burnie, MD, Ann O'Brien of Baltimore, MD, Vicky Hardin of MD, and Edith Caruso of Littleton, CO. Grandmother of six and great-grandmother of 13. Preceeded in death by her husband Edgar Feige.
