She had two devoted pets Tiffany and Toby.

Dugan, Elizabeth Rose
Elizabeth Rose (nee Dehnert) Dugan an advocate for children and adults with intellectual and development disabilities.
A long time resident of the Newtown Square area
Died Friday, July 31, 2009 at Lankenau Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer.
Mrs. Dugan was born in Louisville, Kentucky moved to the Upper Darby area as a young child.
ORGANIZATONS: Mrs. Dugan was well known for her advocacy for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Betty was the Past President of the Pier Family Group and was instrumental in negotiating the safe and secure
deinstitutionalization of the Embreeville State Center for mentally retarded in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
At the time of her death Betty was the Board President at the PIERCFST, Inc. - which monitors services for former Residents of the Embreville & Pennhurst State Centers.
In 1987 Bill & Betty Dugan established the Kevin Dugan Fund after the death of their son Kevin.
Kevin was employed in an Elwyn workshop and a very enthusiastic worker.
When the fund was created, the workshop that Kevin attended on the Media Campus was named in his memory.
The interest from the fund is used periodically as "Scholarship money" for a young person graduating from Elwyn's Davidson School and transitioning to work at the Kevin Dugan Center.
Mrs. Dugan is predeceased by her husband Bill after 42 years of marriage in 2000.
Her sons, Jim Dugan, Danny Dugan and Kevin Dugan who died in 2004, 1976 and 1987 respectively, also predecease her.
SURVIVORS: Survived by sisters, Vera Purchler of Glenview, IL and Deanna Dehnert of Broomall, and her brother: Carl Dehnert of Royersford, PA; Mrs. Dugan is also survived by her life-long best friend: Marge Jersey of Glen Mills. In addition, nieces, Patti Hankins of Pylesville, MD, Jean Kerbs of Malvern, PA, Lisa Grzywacz of Royersford, PA and Karin Madary of Royersfor, PA, and nephew, Mark Dehnert of Royersford, PA, also survive Mrs. Dugan.

ORGANIZATIONS: An avid tennis player he enjoyed playing both doubles and singles and participated in several tournaments.
Was a member Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern, PA. During his High School years he liked listening to and playing music.
SURVIVORS: Survived by his Mother: Betty (Dehnert) Dugan of Newtown Square, PA; Son of the late Bill Dugan who died in 2000; Brother of the late Kevin Dugan who died in 1987 and Danny Dugan who died in 1976.

Dutery, Jr., Frank E.
YORK - Frank E. Dutery, Jr.; age 80 of Manchester Township, York died Friday, October 19, 2001 at his residence. He was the husband of the late M. Pauleen 'Polly' [Goodman] Dutery.
Born September 3, 1921 in Harrisburg, a son of the late Frank E. Dutery, Sr. and the late Margaret S. [Filson] Dutery; he was a graduate of John Harris Senior High School in Harrisburg and attended the University of Florida.
A captain in the United States Army Air Corp during WW II, he piloted more than 35 night combat missions over Europe as Eighth Air Force, 492nd Bomb Group attached to the Office of Strategic Services' famed 'Carpetbagger' squadron.
Following the war he was a pilot for Trans World Airlines for six years before joining Dentsply International, Inc. as a chief pilot, a position he held for 30 years until his retirement April 30, 1980.
During this time he served as a consultant to NASA in development of the space shuttle and was a member of numerous aviation industry advisory boards.
He held an Airline Transport Rating and was a certified flight instructor.
In retirement, he was a volunteer at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center working to restore the vintage theatre organ.
He was a member of Out Door Country Club, a volunteer with York Community Access Television, a member of American Theatre Organ Guild, and Advent Lutheran Church
Mr. Dutery is survived by a son, Gary F. Dutery of Boca Grande, Florida; three grandchildren; and a sister Miriam L. Scott of Harrisburg.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with his Pastor, Rev. David L. Ritterpusch officiating.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery with Full Military Rites Provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
