A homemaker she was devoted to her home and family. She enjoyed gardening and was a sports fan of the Philadelphia teams. She was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church of Aston.
She was the wife of the late Alfred P. Sprouse and John E. Copeland. She is survived by her daughter with whom she lived, Ethel Kelly of Aston, PA and Gail Copeland of Aston, PA. two sons: Alfred P. Sprouse of Wilmington, DE and Harry Sprouse of Aston, PA. also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Other: Mrs. Copper was a wonderful mother grandmother and great-grandmother; and was best known for her baking and desserts. For 30 years she served as a Gray Lady taking care of special needs at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and was a life member of Chester Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Past President of Royal Arch Ladies Auxiliary, Past President of Tall Cedars Auxiliary Penna Forrest #21, Past President and member of Parkside Senior Citizens, Past President of Upland Century Club and Past President of the Keystone Auxiliary. Mrs. Copper was also a Rainbow Mother of Chester Rainbow Girls and DeMolay Mother of Chester DeMolay Boys.
Wife of the late George L. Cooper who died in 2006. Daughter of the late Mary and Jessi Shuster, Sr; sister of the late Mary Snellbaker, Lavina Shuster and Jessi Shuster, Jr; grandmother of the late Robert A. "Chip" Bates, Jr. who died in 2005.
