BORN IN: Sunbury, PA had been a resident of Media, PA before moving to Aston, PA 45 years ago.
EDUCATION: Graduate Drexel University Class of 1959, Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
VETERAN: US Navy serving from 1940 to 1946 and in the reserves being called to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis while serving with the Willow Grove Naval Air Base. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific 4 Stars, American Area, World War II Victory Medal, Philippine Liberation 1 Star and Good Conduct Medal.
He retired in 1979 as a Sr. Chief Petty Officer.
EMPLOYMENT: Naval Ship Engineering Center for 42 years retiring in 1984.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Church of St Timothy, Aston, PA
Other: A man devoted to his home and family. He was a Mason for over 50 years and was a member of the following lodges: Meridian Sun Lodge #2, Columbia Keystone Royal Arch #3 and St. John's #4. Also was a member of the American Legion Post #926, Aston, PA and a life member of the VFW Post #2384.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed camping, gardening, woodwork, traveling and social activities.

Clement, Sr., Clinton Robert
Clinton Robert Clement Sr., 63, of Green Creek, NJ, passed away July 14, 2008 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Mr. Clement graduated Middle Township High School and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was employed by Harbison Walker Refractories until it closed in the early eighties, and then was employed by the County of Cape May at the Crest Haven Nursing Home until his retirement. Mr. Clement was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Clara Robinson of Del Haven, NJ; two sons, Clinton, Jr. (Linda) of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Carl of Washington; a daughter, Christine of Cape May Court House, NJ; a brother, David Robinson (Ruth) of Del Haven, NJ; four sisters, Darlene Rigazio (Angelo) of North Cape May, NJ, Linda Gilles (Peter) of Cape May Court House, NJ, Mary Lea Robinson of Burleigh, NJ, and Roxanne Catarcio of Del Haven, NJ; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Christopher; two step grandchildren, Amanda and Justin; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Clinton Clement; his sister, Ella Adams; and his step father, David J. Robinson.

Clements, Joseph R
Joseph R. Clements, long-time Media Resident, dies at 79 on May 26, 2003.
Born in Chester, Pa., in 1923 to Joseph and Mae Clements, Joseph graduated from Chester High in 1941. From there he went directly into the Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant, proudly serving as a Pilot for the Troop Carrier Command in the European/African Theatres in WWII.
Joseph Married Lillian Margaret Lybeck in 1946. In 1951, he graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with an Aeronautical Engineering Degree, and was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.
Mr. Clements worked as Aerodynamics and Flight Test Engineer at Boeing Vertol. From there he briefly moved to Orlando, Florida in 1958 to work with Martin Missile Co. In 1960, Mr. Clements returned to Boeing in Ridley Park to work in the Sales Engineering and Marketing section where he traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Australia.
After retirement, Joseph worked for many years as the full time Property Manager of Middletown Presbyterian Church, where he was an active member. He was also a member of the American Helicopter Society, Sons of Norway and the Heritage Society.
Joseph's greatest joy came from supporting each and every one of his children and grandchildren in their various activities, no matter the distance.
Joseph R. Clements is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lillian Margaret Clements, sister Elsie Miller of Swarthmore, Pa., his four children, Linda Berkowitz of Media, Pa., Larry Clements of Ligonier, Pa., Gail Tribendis of Pittsburg, Pa, Gary Clements of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., and seven grandchildren. His passing was preceded by two other sisters, Anne Nothnagle and Retta Gamber.
Service: Wednesday May 28th at 11:00 am at Middletown Presbyterian Church

SURVIVORS: Brothers, Robert Coalson of Aston, James Coalson of New Jersey, John Coalson of Aston, Sisters, Ruth Rowles of Eddystone, Rose Sheridan of Boothwyn, Lorraine Coalson of New Jersey, Many nieces and nephews, and special friends Vernon and Delores Davis and William and Cheryl Davis who cared for him. Preceded in death by parents Grant W. Coalson and Ruth (nee Krater) Coalson, brother William Coalson, Sr. and sister Elizabeth Desper.
