Christensen, John W. passed away in the early morning hours of June 30, 2003. He was a resident of White Horse Village since 2000, and a resident of Newtown Square, PA since 1966; Loving and devoted husband of the late Dorothy R. Christensen; He was employed by Independence Blue Cross from 1945 till his retirement in 1987. Father of Joan Smith and Karen Christensen, Father-in-Law of James Smith; Grandfather of Amy Smith and Kevin Dougherty and Great-Grandfather of Gabrielle Smith; Uncle of Dennis and Sara Miller of Annandale, Virginia. Mr. Christensen was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a WWII veteran. Christy, James M.
James M. Christy, 50, a resident of Aston, PA for more than 20 years, died March 8, 2008 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Chester, PA.
He was a graduate of St Roberts Grade School and a 1975 Graduate of St. James High School in Chester, Pa.
Mr. Christy was employed by the U. S. Postal Service for 31 years and for the past 19 years he was the Supervisor at Wayne Post Office.
Passionate about coaching, Jim started with coaching his younger brothers and then coached his children as they were growing up. Known as "Big Jim", he touched the lives of countless other children at St. Joseph's CYO, Aston Valley Baseball, and his beloved "Delco Diamond Girls Fast pitch Softball" teams (of which he was founder).
A serious sports fan, extremely passionate about the NY Jets. He played football and baseball for St. James and various softball teams in Delaware County.
Jim also was known as a great storyteller. He also had a love for good wine and enjoyed winemaking.
Survived by his beloved wife Donna M. (nee Volpe) Christy of Aston, PA; Devoted father of James Anthony Christy and Deanna Marie Christy both of Aston, PA; Loving son of James J. and Judith A. (nee Ebner) Christy of Boothwyn, PA; Dear brother of David (Alisha) Christy of Ridley, PA, Cindy (Deb) Christy of Texas and Bobby (Linda) Christy of Chester Springs, PA.

Born in Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, he had been a resident of Brookhaven and Moylan before moving to Ridley Park 3 years ago.

EMPLOYMENT: J. D. Cipolloni Construction where he was owner/operator for the last 4 years. PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: Growing up and all through school worked with his father in the family construction business.
ORGANIZATIONS: Jonathan was an avid sports fan who enjoyed surfing and all sports.
Predeceased by his maternal grandfather J. Edward Kelley.
SURVIVORS: Survived by his parents Alfred D., Jr. and Kristine K. (nee Kelley) Cipolloni of Moylan, PA; One Brother: Trevor K. Cipolloni; Maternal Grandmother Esther B. (nee Boluck) Kelley of Chester, PA; Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

DIED: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at home surround by her family. BORN IN: Allentown, PA she had been a resident of Darby before moving to Concord Twp 19 years ago.

ORGANIZATIONS: Gerry loved being with her family and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren around their swimming pool. She also loved the family dog "Sport". As her vision was poor, she enjoyed reading by listening to tape books and was also a fan of Elvis.
Wife of the late Edward J. Claffey who died in 1990.
SURVIVORS: Survived by her son and daughter-in-law with whom she lived Tim and Dawn Claffey; Three Grandchildren: Drew, Devon and Johnny Claffey.
