Born in Chester, Mr. Brown lived in Upper Chichester before moving to Thornton 28 years ago.
VETERAN: Mr. Brown was in the Civil Air Patrol before joining the US Army Air Corp (later US Air Force) as a flight instructor in Texas during World "War II.
EMPLOYMENT: Sun Oil Company, Marcus Hook, as a Foreman for 44 years until his retirement.
ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Active member Trinity United Methodist Church, Chester, PA
Other: Mr. Brown was a man who enjoyed his home and was devoted to and by his family. He was a life long pilot and member of the AOPA, an avid horseman and home gardener.
Husband of 61 years to the late Doris Mae (nee Roberts) Brown who died in 2004.
SURVIVORS: Survived by Two Sons: Duane A. (Becky) Brown of Middletown, Delaware and David W. (Jennifer) Brown of Chadds Ford, PA; Two Daughters: Susan L. (Jim) Riser of Kennett Square, PA and Sheri (Glen) Brown-Mariani of Longneck, Delaware; Also survived by Nine Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren.

Brown, Edna
Edna Brown of Houston, Texas, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007. She was the wife of David Glenn Brown, who passed away in September, 1974, and with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Edna was born in Nelson, England in 1909 and moved to the United States at the age of 14. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas Redman and Sarah Ann Birtle of Upland, Pa.
After her husband's death, she moved from Milmont Park, Pennsylvania to Houston to be near her daughter and grandchildren.
Edna was very close to her family. Her strength, courage, love, laughter, and smile will be missed by her family and her friends. Edna is survived by her daughter, Dianna Lee Brown LeTourneau and her husband David F. LeTourneau of Houston, Texas, her grandchildren Danielle Elizabeth LeTourneau Anderson and husband Neil Anderson of Chicago, ILL, David F. LeTourneau III. and his wife Sara M. Hubbard LeTourneau of Round Rock, Texas, and 5 great grandchildren, Joshua Everett Charles Anderson, Eden Olivia Anderson, David Evan LeTourneau, Axel James LeTourneau, and Noah Glenn LeTourneau.

Brown, Rev. Robert Harvey
Rev. Robert Harvey Brown, 78, of Cape May Court House, NJ, and formerly of Pennsauken, NJ, died on Monday, August 25, 2003, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. Rev. Brown was born and raised in Camden, NJ, and worked as a tool and die maker. He was also an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church, having served nine churches in Camden and Cape May Counties. He taped the church services so that shut-ins were able to hear the services at their homes. He was a 33rd degree mason and was a former member of the Ionic Lodge #94 of Cherry Hill, NJ, and a current member of the Canon Lodge #104 of South Seaville, NJ.
He is survived by his wife: Betty (nee Chase); two daughters: Betsy Young and husband, Bruce, and Barbara Kraemer and husband, Larry, both of Cape May Court House; five grandchildren: Greg Young and wife, Amy, of Del Haven, NJ, Dan Young and wife, Jamie, of Goshen, NJ, Terri Sipple and husband, Raymond, of Cape May Court House, Andrea Kraemer of Nicholasville, KY, and fiancee, B.J. Williamson of Wilmore, KY, and Patricia George and husband, Gary, of Fayetteville, NC; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, where friends may call 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cape May Court House.
