SUE STUART Sue (Vogel) Stuart, 87, died April 19, 2005, in Country Cottage at Dock Woods Community. She was the wife of more than 50 years to the late Robert F. Stuart, who died in 1988. A longtime resident of Lansdale, she moved to the Dock Woods Community in 1989. Born in Towamencin Twp., she was a daughter of the late Elmer B. and Clara (Hedrick) Vogel. She and her husband formerly owned and operated Stuarts Music Store in Lansdale. Mrs. Stuart particularly enjoyed family outings and spending weekends at their home in the Poconos. She was a life member of Christ United Church of Christ in Towamencin where she had played piano for children's Sunday school. She and her husband were instrumental in the formation of the Stuart Memorial Handbell Choir at church. She is survived by two sons, Robert D. Stuart and his wife, Peg, of West Chester and James D. Stuart and his wife, Carolyn, of Lansdale; five grandchildren; three great - grandchildren; a sister, Ruth V. Rittenhouse of Lansdale; and brother - in - law, Frank Stuart of Green Lane. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Charles Vogel and two sisters, Anne Stuart and an infant, Florence Stuart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service April 25, at 7 P.M. in Christ United Church of Christ, 2200 Sumneytown Pike, Harleysville, PA 19438.
