CYNTHIA M. PISTELLA SR.

Cynthia M. Pistella Sr., 43, of East McKeesport, formerly of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000. She was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Donald J. and Dolores Dusch Lane of North Huntingdon. She was formerly employed by Irwin Bank and Trust and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Edward E. Pistella; her daughter, Cynthia M. Pistella Jr. at home; four brothers , James Lane of North Huntingdon, Gary Lane of Frederick, Md., Donald Lane of North Huntingdon and Kevin Lane of Little Boston; and two sisters , Lori Olson of North Huntingdon and Mary Jean Shaffer of Penn Hills. Friends were received at the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, Circleville, North Huntingdon, Thursday and will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon.

ROSELIA VICTORIA PLEBAN

Roselia Victoria Pleban, formerly of Wynn, Pa., died in the Uniontown Hospital after a brief illness and through God's providence entered into eternal life on Tuesday, July 4, 2000, in her 92nd year of life. Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 130 W. Fayette St., Uniontown, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 10:30 a.m., when a blessing service will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. and will be concelebrated by her priest sons and visiting clergy, with Bishop Bosco in attendance, at St. Joseph Church on Walnut Hill, Uniontown. Burial will be in parish cemetery of SS. Cyril and Methodius in Fairchance.

EMMA JANE EARHART PORE

Emma Jane Earhart Pore, 86, of West Newton, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at home on the farm. Born June 9, 1914, in Darragh, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Miller Earhart. She was a member of Sewickley Presbyterian Church, West Newton, where she was a former elder and clerk of sessions and secretary of the Crusader Class. She was also a 45-year member of the Phoebe Bayard Chapter of the D.A.R. in Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Pore, in 1993. She is survived by two sons , William Pore of Washington , D.C., and Robert Pore at home; a sister, Ruth Weaver of Darragh; a sister-in-law, Helen Bigley of Hershey; a niece, Janet Stough of Hershey; and a nephew, Jay Bigley of Arizona. Friends were received at the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. Charles MacPherson III, the Rev. George P. Fulton Jr. and the Rev. James E. Stough co-officiating. Interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. If desired, memorials may be made to the Sewickley Presbyterian Church, West Newton.

CATHERINE A. SEIPE

Catherine A. Seipe, 89, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, in Sunnyview Home, Butler. Born May 12, 1911 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Sarah Myers Gibbons. Mrs. Seipe was a homemaker. She was a member of Mars United Methodist Church. She belonged to Mars AARP. Survivors include two daughters , Sarah "Sally" Blystone of Valencia and Dorothy Fester of Mars, with whom she lived; a son, Charles J. Seipe Jr. of Sheffield, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Seipe Sr.; five brothers ; four sisters ; and a grandson. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until services at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev. Bruce Gascoine, pastor of Mars United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams. Memorial contributions can be made to the Butler Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA.

EMMA C. POOLE BIGLEY SMELTZER

Emma C. Poole Bigley Smeltzer, 88, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at her home. She was born Feb. 25, 1912, in Trauger, a daughter of the late Franklin I. and Delphia Belle Ansel Poole. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by Montgomery Ward as a department manager. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Neil Bigley; her second husband, Kenneth Smeltzer; and her grandson, James Neil Monahan. She is survived by two daughters , Ferne Weinman and her husband, Robert, of Rockaway, N.J., and Patricia Anderson and her husband, Gerald, of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Walter Poole of Latrobe; two sisters , Vivian Freeman of Lycippus and Louise Elder of Greensburg; the following grandchildren: Edward Keith Monahan, Shawn P. Weinman, Lori M. Anderson and Michael N. Anderson; a great-grandson, Devin Monahan; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation and funeral service will be held in Maryland at a time to be announced. Sandra L. Hoffer, funeral director.

FRANK C. (DYKE) STEINMEYER

Frank C. (Dyke) Steinmeyer, of White hall, died Thursday, July 6, 2000. He is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Mackewich and husband, Joseph; one son, Michael Steinmeyer and wife, Debbie; three grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, and Stacy Mae. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth D. Steinmeyer and one daughter, Kathryn F. Steinmeyer. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in JOHN F. Robert D. Taylor, of Baldwin, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years; three sons , Robert Laurence "Larry," Daniel R. and wife, Kathleen and Peter J. and wife, Cathy; one sister, Majorie Watts of Toronto, Ontario; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, the Very Reverend John E. Taylor, O.M.I. Bishop of Sweden. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in JOHN F. JOSEPHINE ANN TEETS

Josephine Ann Teets, 93, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, in Valencia Woods Nursing Home, Valencia. Born Feb. 27, 1907, in Carnegie, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Agatha Duda Kastovich. Mrs. Teets was a waitress at the Mellon Bank Cafeteria, Downtown. She was a member of St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church, West View. Survivors include three daughters , Mary Ellen Hulbert of Shaler, Barbara Parks of Michigan and Gloria Hess of Bellevue; two sisters , Helen Beck of Bradford Woods and Elizabeth Haben of Texas ; 32 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L. Russell Teets; two sons , John L. Teets and James E. Teets; a daughter, Patricia Davenport; and 10 brothers and sisters . Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross. Christian Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church, West View. Entombment will be in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler.

ESTELLE A. (PRAISNER) TRENGA

Estelle A. (Praisner) Trenga, 87, of Monroeville, formerly of Wilmerding, on Tuesday, July 4, 2000. Beloved wife of the late Carmine Louis Trenga. mother of Doreen Franceschini (Mario) of Monroeville and Helena Ryan (Tom) of San Diego, Calif. Also five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Isabelle Kwolek of North Versailles. Preceded in death by her parents, John Praisner and Helen (Kielar) Praisner; brothers , Michael and Stanley "Babe" Pricener; and a sister, Gladys Ruble. Friends received at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wilmerding. Ljubomir "John" Trkula, 97, of Columbia, Md., formerly of North Versailles, on Sunday, July 2, 2000. Beloved son of the late Stanko Trkulja and Kata (Sharac) Trkulja. Husband of the late Anna (Macut) Trkula. Father of Kathleen "Kathy" (Michael) Zivkovich Jr. of Columbia, Md., and Robert "Bob" (Katherine) Trkula of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Trent (Margaret) Zivkovich and Erin Zivkovich. Brother of the late Yanko Trkula (a.k.a. Stanley Yanko), Branko Trkula, Mika Miller, Dragica Dokic, and Desanka Petrovic. GEORGE K. TURNER

George K. Turner, 83, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, in Kane Regional Center, Ross. He was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Brownsville. Mr. Turner was a baggage handler for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a volunteer firefighter in Donora. Survivors include two daughters , Anabelle Lee Turner and Patricia Jones, both of Ilinois; two stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alberta Kiddy Turner and his second wife, Anna Turner. Friends will be received from noon until services at 2 p.m. Monday in H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross, with the Rev. William Shirley officiating. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless.

WILLIAM W. WETMORE JR.

William W. Wetmore Jr., 76, of Latrobe, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. He was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Latrobe, a son of the late William W. Sr. and Alice M. Wellek Wetmore. He was retired, a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, and a member of American Legion Post #515, Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Henry B. Wetmore. Survived by his wife, Toyoko Suzuki Wetmore; a son, Frank Wetmore of Pittsburgh; three daughters , Alice Ann Wetmore of Latrobe, Janet E. Stillman and her husband, David, of Alverton, and Kathleen Wetmore of Greensburg; a stepdaughter, Sharon of Greensburg; two sisters , Bertha Mormack and her husband, Paul, of Latrobe and Mildred Hemm and her husband, Edward, of Ladysmith, Wis.; a grandson, Scott Wetmore; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. military services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

DONALD L. WHITE

Donald L. White , 54, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 14, 1945, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Walter and Lois Leigey White . Mr. White served 20 years in the Air Force as a technical sergeant and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was employed in the grocery industry and most recently worked as a sub-contractor. Survivors include a sister, Pat Stump of West Deer. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Herbert R. King Funeral Jr. Home, Route 8 at 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, where services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Gregory Swiderski of St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church, Hampton, officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Clinton. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

WALTER E. WILLIAMS

Walter E. Williams, 69, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, in Allegheny General Hospital, North Side. Born July 3, 1931 in Van, Pa., he was the son of the late Elmer and Adda Firster Williams. Mr. Williams was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was an industrial engineer. Survivors include his wife, Betty Ruth Boyle Williams; a son, J. Scott Williams of New York; a brother, Elmer Williams of Jamestown; and two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ivabelle Williams; and two brothers , Willis Williams and Robert Williams. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today in Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Shaler, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Ernest Conley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler.

CHERYL L. WIBLE WOODS

Cheryl L. Wible Woods, 46, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born June 25, 1954, in Latrobe, a daughter of Mildred Henderson Wible of Derry and the late Arthur Wible. Her mother -in-law, Josephine Woods, also preceded her in death. In addition to her mother , Cheryl is survived by her husband, Charles Woods; her son, Nathan Charles Woods at home; a brother, Paul A. Wible of Latrobe; three sisters , Mrs. John (Janet) Klym of Latrobe, Carolann Gennaro and Mrs. Dan (Debbie) Markiewicz, both of Derry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the MICHAEL J. QUINLISK FUNERAL HOME INC., 548 N. Chestnut St., Derry. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael McIlwain, O.S.B., officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Derry.
