Charlene F. "Sherry" Bosko Robinson, 57 of Clearfield Road, Fenelton, died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at 9:16 p.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born December 13, 1946 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Stephen Bosko and Evelyn Kinser Hillberry.
She was Lutheran by faith. She was active with the Grape Vine.
Surviving are two daughters, Christine Robinson of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Scott (Lori) Seaton of State College, Pennsylvania, her mother, Evelyn Hillberry of Butler, Pennsylvania, two sisters, Gail Arvay of Sarver, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Michael (Pamela) Phillips of Butler, Pennsylvania, a number of nieces and nephews, and a number of aunts and uncles.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents and her father.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend James W. Dollhopf from First English Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
Henry A. Ogin
November 28, 1920 - March 2, 2004
Henry A. Ogin, 83 of McGrady Hollow Road, Butler, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 7:50 a.m. in Chicora Medical Center.
Born November 28, 1920 in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Jacob Ogin and Bertha Lutz Ogin.
He worked as a shop foreman in the Used Car Department for Kelly Chevrolet, retiring in 1983
Mr. Ogin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Leola W. Angert Ogin, whom he married
on March 21, 1942, by one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Linda) Quinn one son, Terry Ogin both of Butler, Pennsylvania, three sisters, Harriet Felici, Marie Felici, Ruth Milazzo all of Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania, one brother, Ernest Ogin of Meridan, Connecticut, four grand-daughters, one grandson, three great grand-daughters and two great grandsons.
Mr. Ogin was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, March 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sherry Cook of Fenelton United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill cemetery.
Jane E. Morrison
August 8, 1924 - March 2, 2004
Jane E. Morrison, 79 of Margate Manor, died Tuesday, Tuesday March 2, 2004 at 11:20 a.m. at home.
Born August 8, 1924 in Jamisonville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Herber W. Fleeger and Cleo C. Shakely.
Mrs. Morrison worked and retired as a registered nurse for the Butler Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Nurse's Alumni Association of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Catherine Filges and Mrs. Joe (Peggy) Marquez both of Butler, Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband Harry R. Morrison who was deceased February 12, 1999, two brothers and one sister.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania Thursday March 4, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Friday March 5, 2004 at 11:00 am with Rev. Richard P. Jenks of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Ronald Lee Poole
February 23, 1937 - March 3, 2004
Ronald Lee Poole, 67 of South Hill, Virginia, formerly of Butler, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 in Community Memorial Healthcenter in South Hill, Virginia.
Mr. Poole worked as a sales representative for Sporocco. He was a former employee of Pullman Standard, a graduate of Butler High School and a graduate of Slippery Rock State College. He was a navy veteran and an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving are his wife, Susan L. Poole of South Hill, Virginia, two daughters, Michele Chiprean of Erie, Pennsylvania and Beth Wilbert of Fenelton, Pennsylvania, his sister, Judie Sickle and his brother Gary Poole both of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, Sunday March 7, 2004 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Monday March 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. J. David Panther of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Ronald P. Steighner
March 17, 1929 - March 7, 2004
Ronald P. Steighner, age 74 of Brandon Road Butler, Pennsylvania passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004 at 4:20 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Herman, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1929, he was the son of the late Ralph Steighner and Marcella Steighner.
Mr. Steighner was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church. He retired in 1983 from Butler Armco after thirty-four years of service in the hot mill production department. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II, and a member of the American Legion Post # 117 in Butler. He served as a coach and manager in the Meridian Area Baseball Association for eighteen years.
Mr. Steighner is survived by his wife Eileen Diehl Steighner whom he married
on June 4,1949, two sons Ronald W. Steighner and Richard (Rick) C. Steighner both of Butler, Pennsylvania, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Tortorea and Mrs. Robert (Norma) Lavorini both of Butler, Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother.

Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut, Pennsylvania.
Fay R. Wells
December 12, 1918 - March 8, 2004
Fay R. Wells, 85 formerly of East Butler and the Terrace Apartments, died Monday, March 8, 2004 at 9:45 p.m. in the Chicora Medical Center.
Born December 12, 1918 in East Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles Monroe Hetrick and Bertha Kroh.
She worked in housekeeping for the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home and previous to that at A-Penn Oil Co., East Butler. She was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene in Butler. She was a member of the Golden Agers of the YWCA, a member of W.C.T.U. and a former foster grandparent.
Mrs. Wells is survived by three sons, Glenn D. Wells, Dale E. (Widdy) Wells both of Butler, Pennsylvania, Robert D. Wells of Meridian, Pennsylvania, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Holfman of East Butler, Pennsylvania, two brothers, Reverend Paul H. Hetrick of Temple City, Pennsylvania, Charles L. Hetrick of East Butler, Pennsylvania, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her son, grandson and two sisters.

Bernice Jaffe Abes
January 19, 1913 - March 18, 2004
Bernice Jaffe Abes, 91 formerly of Margate, Florida and Butler, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 11:36 a.m. in Shadyside Hospital.
Born January 19, 1913 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Frank Jaffe and Sadie Diamond.
She was a former member of Congregation B'Nai Abraham and Sisterhood where she had been very active. She and her beloved husband Harry, of 65 years, resided in Butler, Pennsylvania until 1980 when they retired a moved to Florida. While in Florida, she became an active member of the City of Hope and a life member of Hadassah. She was an avid duplicate bridge player.
Surviving are Son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Tobi Abes of Canton, Ohio, Son, Edward Abes of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Daughter, Mrs. David (Karen) Bergman of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Seven Loving Grandchildren whom she was proud of, Sister, Mrs. LaRose Black of Butler, Pennsylvania, Sister-in-law, Gerry Jaffe of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Preceding her in death were her husband Harry Abes, who passed away on February 16, 2002?

Graveside Services will be held at B'Nai Abraham cemetery, Sunday, March 21, 2004 at Noon with the Lay Leader Margo Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in B'Nai Abraham cemetery.

Ada G. Hartzell, 85 of Chicora Medical Center, died Sunday, March 28, 2004 at 9:25 a.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born November 8, 1918 in Penn Township, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Harry A. Giles and Ethel West.
Mrs. Hartzell worked as a bookkeeper for R. W. McDonald and Sons retiring in 1983 after 22 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and former missionary treasurer of the church for 35 years and was former Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Hartzell is survived by three sons, Charles R. Hartzell, III of Wilmington, Delaware, Harry A. Hartzell of Bainbridge, Ohio, Martin E. Hartzell of Dayton, Tennessee, two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Judith) Entner of Malvern, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Anthony (JoAnn) Grus of Butler, Pennsylvania, Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty Great- Grandchildren, one brother, Merrill Giles of Butler, Pennsylvania, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hartzell was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Hartzell, Jr., five brothers and 4 sisters.
