EMPLOYMENT: AstraZeneca, supervising development and implementation of clinical research studies to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medicinal products. Most recently, Ms. Skammer was a Study Management Leader within Clinical Operations. She was highly respected as an experienced and dedicated health care professional, and much loved as a colleague in the workplace.
PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania AS
A Registered Nurse for several years before working as a corporate nurse.
ORGANIZATIONS: Known for her irreverent wit, infectious laugh and lively intellect, Ms. Skammer's last year of life coincided with her baby's first year. Delighted by the experience of parenthood, she reveled in emailing funny photos and stories of her daughter to friends around the world. Besides her baby Maddy and her soul-mate Neil, Ms. Skammer's favorite things in life were cooking, reading, gardening, art museums, travel, the University of Pennsylvania Mask & Wig Club's annual show, and listening to the BBC and National Public Radio (especially Harry Shearer's Le Show and Michael Feldman's Whaddaya Know.) She had a great sense of the absurd and loved the Simpsons. Ms. Skammer was a big fan of social satirist David Sedaris, and like him, entertained co-workers and friends with opinionated, well-informed, and frequently hilarious commentary on current events and culture.
A dedicated Democrat she tracked down and proudly displayed an Ed Rendell yard sign during the last gubernatorial race, and once theorized that her household contained jthe lone Democrats in the area. She cared deeply about politics and the environment and deplored suburban sprawl and rampant consumerism.
SURVIVORS: Survived by her husband Neil Curtis and their One year Old Daughter Madeleine Skammer Curtis. Her parents David and Joane Skammer of Edgewater Florida; A Brother: Tim and his wife Amy; A Sister: Christine and her husband Robert; Five Nieces and Nephews all of Delaware.

EMPLOYMENT: Shortly after graduating from school and completing a 7 year apprenticeship, Mr. Soltner founded and was C.E.O. of Litho Neg Service and Soltner Graphics. His company made the Photoengravings and Ad's for the Delaware County Daily Times along with many Printers and Ad Agency's.
SURVIVORS: Husband of the late Louise (nee Boben) Soltner who died in 1998 and former Husband of Marie (nee Thomas) Soltner OF Smyrna, Delaware; He is survived by A Daughter: Mary Lou Kelley of Kirkwood, PA; A Son: William F. Soltner, Jr. of Newark, Delaware; Two brothers: Eugene Soltner of Springfield, PA and Thomas Soltner of Aston, PA; Also survived by Two Grandchildren. Brother of the late Jack Soltner.

ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. Trinkle was devoted to her home and family and will be sorely missed by all. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ; she also loved pets especially cats. Member of Chester Rainbow Girls and the Girl Scouts as a young girl.
