SILVERMAN/WINOKUR ROSALIE FRANKEL WINOKUR SILVERMAN, 89, on May 30, 2001, survived by her loving husband Dr. William Silverman, her adoring sons Prof. James L. Winokur and Barton J. Winokur and daughter-in-law Susan, grandchildren Deborah Stacey Winokur, Derek Morris Winokur, Daniel Morris Winokur and Talia Will Winokur and her great grandson Samuel Henry Winokur, her dear sisters Helen Zucker and Julie Connig as well as her family by marriage: children Sheila Dardik, Dr. Marvin Silverman and Beverly Wolov, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON, 7112 N. Broad St. Phila., on Fri. June 1st, at 1 P.M., followed by interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Spivack, Benjamin

October 10, 2001, Benjamin Hirsch; husband of Ethel (nee Friedman). Mr. Spivack held a Bachelor's Degree from Temple University, a Master's Degree from the University of Penna. He was a long time employee of The School District of Phila. for over 40 years. He is also survived by his daughter and her husband, Jane Ruth (Dr. Bernard) Mason and 2 granddaughters, Cynthia Gwen and Katherine Anne. Graveside Services were held Friday October 12th at the West Laurel Hill cemetery. Mr. Spivack served in the army during WW II for 3 1/2 years. The family kindly ask that contributions in his memory be made to the Unitarian Universalist House, 224 W. Tulpehocken St., Phila., PA 19144.
