ALBERT A. MILETTI
Albert A. Miletti, 87, of Shaler Township, formerly of Pleasant Hills, on Sunday, July 2, 2000. Mr. Miletti was a claims examiner for the Bureau of Employment Security and a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Strategic Air Command. He was the beloved husband of the late Madeleine S. Kaiser Miletti; Father of Helga Shackelford of Zolfo Springs, Fla., and Madeleine Byers of Shaler Township; brother of the late Julia, Bridget, Carrie, Francis, Fiori, Margaret, Rosemarie, Louise, Anne, Leonard, and Cresente; also four grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Friends received at the FRANK R. JOHN MUZINA JR.
John Muzina Jr., 48, of West Newton, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, in Jefferson Center Hospital, Jefferson Borough. Born in North Charleroi, Nov. 15, 1951, he was the son of John J. and Catherine Rose (Tosi) Muzina of Monongahela. Mr. Muzina worked at the USX Irvin Works. He was a member of the F&AM Wilson Joppa Lodge 714 in Dravosburg, where he was a Past Master and the acting secretary. He was a member of the Syria Temple in Pittsburgh, where he participated in the Horse Patrol with his favorite horse, "Zach." He was a member of the Rostraver Emergency Medical Service. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his friend, Dagny Lynn of Collinsburg; and two daughters , Tina L. Muzina and Alicia K. Muzina, both of Rostraver Township. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township. NATHAN A. PESCATORE
Nathan A. Pescatore, 17, of Latrobe, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was born May 4, 1983, in Latrobe, a son of Gloria Sue Sproch Pescatore and the late William J. Pescatore. He was a student at Greater Latrobe High School and worked for R&M Machine Shop. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and the Lloydsville Fire Department. Nathan was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his Father ; his paternal grandfather, John F. Pescatore; his maternal grandfather, Donald R. Sproch; and a cousin, Michelle Nicolazzo. He is survived by his mother , Gloria Sue Sproch Pescatore of Latrobe; two sisters , Heather Jean Pescatore and Leslie Ann Pescatore, both of Latrobe; his paternal grandmother, Evalyn Pescatore of Latrobe; his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Sproch of Latrobe; aunts and uncles, Donna and Tom Schultheis of Latrobe, Patty and Frank Nicolazzo of Greensburg, Donald and Sue Sproch of Angola, Ind., Mary Pescatore of Latrobe, and Martha Hunter of Latrobe; and cousins, Tommy, Brian, Jennifer, and Alex Schultheis, Mathew, and Michael, and Jessica Nicolazzo, and Meghan, and Sara Sproch. DORA I. MCCANN ROSBOROUGH
Dora I. McCann Rosborough, 73, of Delmont, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. She was born Sept. 15, 1926, in New Alexandria, a daughter of the late Harry V. and Louella Bennett McCann. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, David Rosborough; a son-in-law, William Little; and a brother, Ben McCann. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Westmoreland Shrine #18. Dora is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Odis M. Rosborough; a daughter, Donna Little of North Huntington; two sons , Ronald Rosborough and his wife, Cherie, of Hot Springs, Ark., and Raymond Rosborough and his wife, Becki, of Greensburg. She was the loving grandmother of Billy and wife, Diane Little, Ray and Renee Little, Brian and wife, Lynn Rosborough, Heather and husband, Chad Porter, Michelle and husband, William Fickle, and Meredith and Patrick Rosborough. She had six beautiful great-grandchildren: Christopher Davis, Billy, Dylan and Nika Little, Tyler Valerio and Zachery Rosborough. Three brothers and two sisters survive her, Harry McCann and wife, Mary, of Henderson, Nev., Kathryn Bates of Latrobe, Donald McCann of New Alexandria, Eleanor Miller and husband, Robert, of Seminole, Fla., and George McCann and wife, Ruth, of Latrobe. M. Fidelis Stairs, 91, formerly of Greensburg, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Edgewood Nursing Center, Youngstown, Pa. She was born Sept. 23, 1908, in New Stanton, a daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary T. (Short) Kintz. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg, and was a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and St. Cecilia Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stairs; a stepson, Carl H. Stairs; four brothers , William, Clarence, Clyde, and Leonard Kintz; and a sister, Hilda Kintz. She is survived by three sons , Charles E. Buchanan and wife, Donnie, of Latrobe RD1, Francis J. Buchanan and wife, Ruth, of Beaver Falls, and James L. Buchanan and wife, Jane, of Taylors, S.C.; two daughters , Mrs. Harry (Mary Jane) Carr of Greensburg RD12 and Mrs. Ross (Lois) Campbell of North Huntingdon; a stepson, Robert Stairs and wife, Vern, of Whitney; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a brother, Louis Kintz of Gray Station; a sister, Bertha Sparber of Cortland, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Stairs of Aliquippa; and a number of nieces and nephews. Albert M. Stock
Albert M. Stock, 89, a resident of Huntingdon Ridge Mature Living, North Huntingdon, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1910, in Herminie No. 2, a son of the late Leo and Mary Stock. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a security officer with Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh. Mr. Stock was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during peacetime. Mr. Stock is survived by two sons , William Stock of Erie and Kenneth Stock and his wife, Arlene, of Ruffsdale; six grandchildren, William, Walter, Andrew, Marianne, Cynthia and Michael; a great-grandson, Tyler Crosby; a brother, Anthony Stock of Stuart, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stock was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia "Sally" (Cividini) Stock, in October 1995; a grandson, Brian Stock; two brothers , Leopold and Rudolph Stock; and four sisters , Gazella, Frances, Emma and Bertha. Dale B. Waugaman II, 27, of Aberdeen, Ohio, formerly of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in the Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky. He was born Nov. 22, 1972, in Greensburg, a son of Margaret Louise "Peggy Lou" Waugaman Kovalchuck of Troy, Mich., and the late Dale B. Waugaman. He was employed as a communications technician with Emerson Power Transmission in Maysville, and was a member of the Church of the Redeemed in Maysville, where he also faithfully served as youth pastor. In addition to his Father , who preceded him in death in 1982, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Elaine Garlitz Waugaman; his maternal grandmother, Esther E. Martz Kersten; and his maternal grandfather, William H. "Red" Kersten Sr., at whose funeral he officiated in January 2000. In addition to his mother , he is survived by his wife, Becky M. Irlmeir Waugaman, who is expecting the birth of their first child in December; his stepfather, Fred Kovalchuck of Troy, Mich.; two brothers , Matthew Kersten Waugaman and William Kovalchuck, both of Troy, Mich.; his paternal grandfather, Billie B. Waugaman of Greensburg; an aunt, Royetta R. Kersten Shick and her husband, Donald, of Manning, S.C.; three uncles, William H. Kersten Jr. and his wife, Bea, of Jeannette, Todd Waugaman of Greensburg, and Lynn Waugaman and his wife, Debbie, of Scotia, N.Y.; and a number of cousins. Cheryl L. Wible Woods, 46, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born June 25, 1954, in Latrobe, a daughter of Mildred Henderson Wible of Derry and the late Arthur Wible. Her mother -in-law, Josephine Woods, also preceded her in death. In addition to her mother , Cheryl is survived by her husband, Charles Woods; her son, Nathan Charles Woods at home; a brother, Paul A. Wible of Latrobe; three sisters , Mrs. John (Janet) Klym of Latrobe, Carolann Gennaro and Mrs. Dan (Debbie) Markiewicz, both of Derry; and numerous nieces and nephews. PHILIP G. WOODS
Philip G. Woods, 49, of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in Worland, Wyo., July 28, 1950, and was a son of Kenneth and Betty Woods of Lakewood, Colo. Philip was the manager of Business Operations of Government and Environmental Services for Westinghouse Electric. He was a member of the Professional Society of Engineers and was a graduate of the University of Colorado. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl, and their daughter, Lydia, at home; his brother, Gary and his wife, Lonnie, of Carlsbad, Calif.; nephew, Geoffrey; and niece, Lauren. Jack R. Wright
Jack R. Wright, 75, of McCandless, died Monday, July 3, 2000, in Manor Care Nursing Home, Ross. Born September 27, 1924 in Laurel, Miss., he was the son of the late Willie Wright and Otzie Rhee Anderson. Mr. Wright graduated from Mississippi State University in 1950. He worked as an accountant at US Steel Co. for 33 years and was a US Navy veteran of the
Korean War. He was also a member of the North Hills Community Baptist Church, Ross. Survivors include his wife, Gloria "Peggy" F. Wright; one daughter, Melanie Affinito of McCandless; one son, R. Alan Wright of McCandless; one sister, Evelyn Holcombe of Laurel, Miss.; five brothers , Harold Wright of New Orleans, La., Ellis Wright of Alamogordo, N.M., and Gerald Wright, Joseph Wright and George Wright, all of Laurel, Miss. He was also survived by two grandsons and two grand- daughters . In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Wright. She was born Sept. 4, 1935, in Glassport, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Levkus Limberger. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Zavalydriga; a brother, Edward Limberger; and a sister, Margaret Vehec. Surviving are three daughters , Susan Zebrak of North Huntingdon, Jacqueline Naser and her husband, Robert, of Greensburg, and Debora Mitchell of Manor; six grandchildren, Brian, Steven, Kristan, Rachelle, Danielle and Dayna; and two brothers , Robert Limberger of Fairfax, Va., and Thomas Limberger of Streamwood, Ill. ARTHUR C. ZITTERBART JR.
Arthur C. Zitterbart Jr., 44, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at his home. He was born May 8, 1956, in Latrobe, a son of Arthur C. and Jane (Giebner) Zitterbart of Latrobe. He was a 1974 graduate of the Greater Latrobe High School, attended St. Vincent College, and received his degree in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1979. He was currently employed by the Latrobe Steel Co. as manager of the continuous rolling mill. He was a member of the St. Vincent Basilica, the American Iron and Steel Society, the Touchdown Club, the Penn State Alumni Association, and the Cooperstown Veterans and Sportsmen's Club. Art was also a private pilot and an avid golfer. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Devon Ann (Doverspike) Zitterbart, whom he married on May 19, 1984; four children, Natalie R., Adam A., and twin sons , Matthew and Nicholas Zitterbart, all at home; his brother, Gerry A. Zitterbart of Latrobe; his sister, Marie T. Mallin and her husband, John, of Las Vegas, Nev.; his Father - and mother -in-law, Harold and Ruth Doverspike of Latrobe; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Charles E. Adams, of Brentwood, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000. Mr. Adams was a retired insurance salesman and a WWII Veteran serving in the US Army. He was the husband of the late Henrietta Louise Adams and Father of the late Joan M. Boston. Survivors include two brothers , John and Joseph Adams; one sister, Ellen Kustron; two grandsons, Keith E. Boston and wife, Melissa C., and Kevin R. Boston; two great grandson, Brandon J. and Conor R. Boston.
