David E. Snyder, 47, of Pleasant Hills, on Wednesday, June 21, 2000. Husband of Heidi K. Snyder. Father of Jeff, Charlie, and Greg. Son of Eldon and Jean Snyder of Pleasant Hills. Son-in-law of Joann and Steele Klingensmith of Birmingham, Ala., formerly of Pleasant Hills. Brother of Martha Ahrens of Spokane, Wash., George S. Snyder of East Grand Rapids, Mich., and Patrick Sego of Cocoa, Fla. Dave passed away due to complications from prostate cancer. Interment will be held privately. Glenn T. Thompson, 78, of Penn Hills, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000. He was a member of Lathers Union Local 33 and Carpenters Union Local 165. Beloved husband of Jenny Buckley Thompson; and Father of Kenneth G. Thompson, Nancy Kickler, Diane Thompson, and the late Janet Thompson. Brother of Arlene Steigerwald, Alma Aupperle, and the late Dale Thompson. Also survived by four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Josephine R. Beiter Yurisinec, 84, of Irwin (Paintertown), died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, in the Forbes Regional Health Center, Monroeville. She was born June 2, 1916, in Hunker, a daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Long Beiter. She was a former employee of the produce department of Sandson's Grocery Store, Irwin. She was a member of Paintertown Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Irwin Country Club Bowling League, the Paintertown Civic Club and a former member of the Paintertown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Yurisinec; and three brothers , Eugene, Marion and John Beiter. She is survived by three daughters , Connie Lusebrink and her husband, Melvin, and Karen Morgan and her husband, David, both of Paintertown, and Theresa Firestone and her husband, James, of North Huntingdon; a son, Peter R. Yurisinec Sr. and his wife, Lou Ann, of Harrison City; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters , Almeda Brentzel of North Huntingdon, Kate McSweiney of Paintertown and Marie Smetak of Herminie; four brothers , William Beiter of Paintertown, Richard Beiter of Adamsburg, Robert Beiter of North Huntingdon and James Beiter of Paintertown; also nieces and nephews. RUTH DELORES (CHEW) BURNS
Ruth Delores (Chew) Burns, 72, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at the Integrated Health Services, Greensburg facility. She was born June 22, 1927, in Herminie #2, a daughter of the late Edward L. and Myrtle (Loughner) Chew. Mrs. Burns was a homemaker. Mrs. Burns was an active member of the Middletown United Methodist Church, where she served on the Board of Elders, was a lay minister, lay leader, and Sunday school teacher, participated as a member of the church choir and also served on the Centennial Committee. Mrs. Burns was a member of the Ethel James Rebekah Lodge #515, Adamsburg, where she served as past Noble Grand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Thomas Burns Sr., in 1989; a granddaughter, Laurie Lynn Burns, in 1994; four brothers , Robert, Edward, Dwaine and Howard Chew; and two sisters , Twyle Carroll and Lorraine Chew. Mrs. Burns is survived by a son, Wayne Thomas Burns Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Herminie; three daughters , Debbie Bard of Chambersburg, Ruthie Burns of Monroeville, and Roxanne Smith and her husband, Lawrence, of Meadville; four grandchildren, Jason, Marc, Matthew, and Justin; a brother, James Chew of Herminie #2; four sisters , Lottie McAlpin of Greensburg, Dorothy Spoonhoward of Herminie #2, Catherine "Katy" Mellinger, of Herminie, and Jane Henry of Greensburg. Beatrice M. Donlon, 95, of Green Meadows, Unity Township, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in Green Meadows. She was born June 14, 1905, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Alexander and Julia Duffy Cross. She was a member of St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Donlon Sr.; three brothers ; and three sisters . Survivors include two sons , John F. Donlon and his wife, Patricia, of Greensburg RD8 and Vincent Donlon and his wife, Pamela, of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three grandchildren, Stephanie Donlon, Megan Donlon and Erin Donlon. Jay A. George, 65, of Harrison Park, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in his home. He was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Harrison City, a son of the late John and Florence Holtzer George. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Westinghouse in Trafford and ABB in Greensburg. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Harrison City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Gionghi. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra Prady George; a daughter, Debbie and husband, Mark Vochinsky, of Manor; and two grandchildren, David Brammell Jr. and Amy Brammell. Joseph E. Kuzemczak, 73, of Latrobe, died Monday, June 19, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Jan. 11, 1927 in Latrobe, a son of the late Michael and Anna Rellick Kuzemczak. Prior to retirement, he had been employed at Teledyne-Vasco, Latrobe, for 38 years. He was a graduate of Derry High School, a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Derry Drum and Bugle Corps, and was a lifetime member of the Ukrainian Society, the Rod and Gun Club of Derry and the Kingston Vets and Sportsmen's Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude Wilson Kuzemczak in 1980. Joe is survived by his wife, Dolores I. Shrum Kuzemczak; three sons , Joseph M. and his wife, Margaret "Cookie," and Michael A. and his wife, Jennie, all of Blairsville, and Brian E. and his wife, Kathy, of Latrobe; a daughter, Deborah Kuzemczak of Derry; a stepson, Robert C. Taylor and his wife, Laurie, of Latrobe; three stepdaughters, Debra and her husband, Paul Staschak, of Florida, Mona and her husband, Paul Brant, of Ligonier and Julie and her husband, John Sessi, of Derry; eight grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; five stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters , Mrs. Tom (Betty J.) Mary Jane Lochner, 70, of Irwin, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 24, 1930, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Klopotowski Bayko. Prior to her retirement, she was the owner of Precision Components Specialists in Adamsburg. She was an active member of The Church in Sutersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Lochner, in 1980; and a half brother, Nick Mospan. Surviving are two sons , William S. Lochner and his wife, Lauren, of Madison and Robert B. Lochner and his wife, Natalie, of Clemson, S.C.; a daughter, Cheryl A. Hermann and her husband, Sheldon, of Noblesville, Ind.; five grandchildren; and a brother, John Bayko and his wife, Nancy, of Chambersburg, Pa. Sara E. Loweecey, 69, of Jeannette, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in the Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. She was born June 16, 1930, in Jeannette, the daughter of the late Habeb Phillip and Ethel E. Swank Loweecey. She worked for many years as office manager for Dr. Roy Monsour. She was a graduate of the Jeannette High School Class of 1948, and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Jeannette, the Friendship Card Club and the Monsour Ladies Auxiliary, and was a former member of the Jeannette Business and Professional Women's Club. She was instrumental in the fund-raising and development of the Monsour Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers , Charles and Edward Loweecey. She is survived by a brother, Paul D. Loweecey of Syracuse, N.Y.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N.
