Yolanda Sabatelli, 91, formerly of Dupont, died Friday in Taylor Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in LeGrazie, Italy, daughter of the late Rinaldo and Edelia Lucarelli Bertocci.
Mrs. Sabatelli was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston. Before retiring, she was employed by the garment industry.
Her husband, Mariano; son, John; brother, Ugo; sisters, Deva Geiberson, Angeline Begley and Siria Borsi preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, Dino, Flushing, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lena Franconi, Florida.
Funeral will be held Monday at 9 from Frank A. Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, with Funeral Mass at 9:30 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Sunday 6 to 9.
Mary Yencha
Mary A. Yencha, 60, of East Thomas Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday in Hospice Community Care, Inpatient Unit, Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, following an illness.
She was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Miners Mills, Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late John and Mary Ritsick Warrick. A life resident of Miners Mills, she was a 1954 graduate of Coughlin High School.
Before retiring in 1997, she was employed by Attorney George L. Fenner, South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Koska College Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Brother, Joseph, preceded her in death.
Surviving is a son, Joseph Jr.
Private Funeral will be held Saturday at the convenience of the family with the Rev. John Terry officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hanover Township. There are no calling hours.
Raymond Olivieri
U.S. Flag Raymond Olivieri, South Main Street, Old Forge, died Thursday in Mercy Hospital, Scranton, following an illness.
He was born in Old Forge, son of the late Camillo and Mary Lettieri Olivieri, and attended Old Forge schools.
A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Olivieri served in the Pacific Theater. He was member and past commander of VFW Post 4954; member of American Legion Post 513; life member of St. Mary's Church, all of Old Forge.
He was employed in the construction business by area firms until retirement.
Surviving are his wife, the former Debbie Kotz; son, Marc, Old Forge; daughter, Rebecca Monaghan; Lake Ariel; one granddaughter; brother, Joseph, Pittston; Edmond, Old Forge; sister, Jean McAndrew; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Monday at 9 from Victor M. Ferri Funeral Home, 522 Fallon St., Old Forge, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Mary's Church. Elaine K. Glahn
Elaine K. Glahn, 63, of Vine Street, Plymouth, formerly of Bedford Street, Forty Fort, died Sunday in Inpatient Unit of Hospice Community Care, Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born Oct. 12, 1933, in Carbondale, daughter of the late Waid C. and Hazel Monk Gibson, and was a 1951 graduate of St. Mary's High School, Wilkes-Barre, and attended College Misericordia.
Before retiring last October, she was employed by Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania as a Medicare Claims Department supervisor for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Holy Name-St. Mary's Church, Swoyersville.
Her husband of 27 years, Alfred, died April 18, 1989; brothers, Wade, died in 1975; Harrison died in 1996.
Surviving are son, David, Plymouth; daughter, Mrs. Christopher (Kathryn) Glahn-Ryan, Skippack; grandson.

Loretta Hennigan
Loretta E. Hennigan, formerly of Old Forge, died Monday at Wesley Village, Pittston, where she had been a guest for the past five years.
She was born in Old Forge, daughter of the late Patrick L. and Genevieve Kearns Hennigan, and was a graduate of Old Forge High School, the former East Stroudsburg State Teachers College, Lackawanna Business College and University of Scranton where she received her bachelor's degree and Master of Science in secondary education.
Before retiring, she was employed as a teacher by Old Forge School District.
She was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge; Delta Kappa Gamma fraternity, Old Forge Retired Citizens, and Moosic Retired Arts and Crafts Club.

Sophie Eva Becker
Sophie Eva Becker, formerly of River Street, Forty Fort, died Saturday in Wood River Medical Center, Sun Valley, Idaho.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Lawrence and Eva Chubek Fela, and attended city schools.
Mrs. Becker resided in Forty Fort for more than 60 years before moving to Sun Valley five years ago.
She was a member of Holy Name-St. Mary's Church, Swoyersville, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Her husband, Carl, died in December 1985; brothers, Peter and John; sisters, Ann Sabocinski, Ceil Harold, Helen Morriss, Mary Yaskinski; grandson, John Sessa, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are daughters, Sylvia White, Syracuse, N.Y.; Lenore Gallagher, Park City, Utah; Carolyn Sessa, Sun Valley; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Benjamin G. Anselmi
Benjamin G. (Ben) Anselmi, 84, formerly of Wyoming Avenue, Exeter, died Sunday at Highland Manor Nursing and Convalescent Center, Exeter.
He was born May 26, 1912, in Exeter, son of the late Benjamin and Cecilia Marchesi Anselmi, and was the last surviving male graduate of Exeter High School's 1930 class.
Mr. Anselmi was employed in the printing industry, founding Exeter Printery during the 1930s and, with assistance from his late brother, Ettore, "Exeter Echo" in 1939. He relocated the business to Wilkes-Barre, publishing "Good News Press" and the Echo. He was also formerly employed as a prison inspector by Pennsylvania and operated a car wash and laundromat, Exeter.
He served two terms as Exeter mayor and as president of the Exeter School Board. He was a member of Pittston Vocational-Technical School Board; Third Degree, JFK Knights of Columbus, Council 372, Pittston; Pittston Jaycees, Exeter Lions Club, Exeter Hose Co., Exeter Ambulance Association, Luzerne County Democratic Committee, St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter; sponsor, Exeter Little League, 1950s.
In addition to brother, Ettore, his wife, the former Rita Murray, died in 1961; son, Benjamin Jr.; brothers, Leo and Orlando; sisters, Mary Anselmi, Pauline Frushon, Candida Romani and Della Zanchettin, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. John (Stasia) Krouchick, Falls; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Ray, Exeter; sister, Rose Loquasto, Bear Creek; nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Harding
Dorothy Harding, 73, of Centermoreland, died Monday in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 29, 1923, daughter of the late William and Helen Dymond, and was a life resident of Centermoreland.
Mrs. Harding was a member of Northmoreland Baptist Church.
She and her husband, Kenneth, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this year.

Mary M. Boyer, 93, of East State Street, Larksville, died Monday at Manorcare Health Services, Kingston.
She was born Aug. 21, 1903, daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Zavatski Yacaginsky, and was a life resident of Larksville, attending borough schools.
Mrs. Boyer was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville.
She was employed as a weaver by Hess & Goldsmith Throwing Co.
Her husband, Charles Peter, died March 5, 1974; brothers, John, Andrew, Charles, Edward and Frank; sisters, Stella Hudock and Helen Kosty, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are son, Charles, Bloomingdale; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Helene (Lee) Rogers, Gateway Manor, Edwardsville, died Sunday at home.
She was born in Plymouth, daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie Gioe Tomaselli, and graduated from the former Plymouth High School.
She formerly resided in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
Before retiring in 1987, she was employed by IBM, Paughkeepsie, N.Y.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck; St. Ignatius Church, Kingston; Back Mountain Senior Citizens and Shawnee Senior Citizens.
She and her husband, Robert, would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary May 26.
Brother, Joseph, died in 1995; sister, Pauline Tomaselli, died in 1996.

Susan Wolfe Mroczek
Susan M. Wolfe Mroczek, 50, Easthampton, Mass., died Feb. 13 at home.
She was born in Holyoke, Mass., daughter of the late Chester and Rose Murphy Wolfe. While a resident of Sweet Valley, she attended Lehman-Jackson High School.
Mrs. Mroczek also attended Springfield, Mass., schools, receiving her master's degree from Westfield State College, Mass.
Her husband, Walter, preceded her in death.
She is survived by uncle, Floyd Wolfe, Pikes Creek; aunts, Lucy Matthews, Wilkes-Barre; Virginia Hoover, Idetown.
Interment was in Evergreen cemetery, South Hadley, Mass. Arrangements were by Ryder Funeral Home, Easthampton, Mass.
Anthony Strichek
Anthony (Dusty) Strichek, 79, of Thorndale died Sunday in Brandywine Hospital, Caln.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late John and Susan Strichek, and was a member of Thorndale United Methodist Church.
Mr. Strichek was employed for 37 years by Lukens Steel Company, retiring in 1980.
He was a life member of Thorndale Fire Company.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Jean Groff; daughters, Joann Danik and Jill Green, Thorndale; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Bernadine Scherbenco, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Michael Strichek, Florida.
Funeral and interment were held in Coatsville.

Eleanor (Mieldazis) Melski, 317 Chestnut St., Warrior Run, died Thursday in Mercy Special Care Hospital, Nanticoke.
She was born in Sugar Notch, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Zmitra, and was a graduate of Warrior Run High School.
Mrs. Melski was formerly employed as a seamstress. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Sugar Notch.
Her husband, Michael, died in 1974; brother, Fritz, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by son, Michael, Warrior Run; sister, Antoinette Wontor, Michigan.

Mrs. Stoehr was a member of First Welsh Baptist Church, Plymouth.
Her husband, William L., died in 1982; sister, Helen Finley, also preceded her in death.

Angelo M. Pantaloni
U.S. Flag Angelo M. Pantaloni, 74, of Main Street, Mocanaqua, died Thursday at home.
He was born March 3, 1923, in Mocanaqua, son of the late Nazereth and Theresa Capece Pantaloni.
Mr. Pantaloni was an Army veteran of World War II and received a Purple Heart.
He was employed as a welder by Air Products, Hanover Township, retiring at 63. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Mocanaqua, and Mocanaqua VFW.
He and his wife, the former Antoinette Caporalletti, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 23.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son, Michael, Wilsonville, Ala.; daughter, Mary Angela, Hershey; three grandchildren; brothers, John, South Carolina; Nazareth, Mechanicsburg; sister, Mrs. William (Madeline) Simone, Shickshinny.

Edward J. Clarke Jr.
U.S. Flag Edward J. (Ted) Clarke Jr., 60, of 383 Schuyler Ave., Kingston, died Thursday in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township.
He was a life resident of Kingston, born Dec. 25, 1936, and was the son of the late Edward J. and Catherine Hummer Clarke. He was a 1954 graduate of Kingston High School.
Mr. Clarke was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, having served in North Africa. Before retiring in 1990, he was employed by the Postal Service.
He was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and its Holy Name Society; past commander of Black Diamond American Legion Post 395, Kingston; Disabled American Veterans Unit 102; Korean War Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marlene Roberts; daughter, Mrs. Mark (Amy) Gushanas Jr., with whom he resided; one granddaughter; brother, Thomas E., Edwardsville; nephews.
