Leona L. Mascioli, 78, of Lemoyne died Wednesday, March 29, 2000 in her residence.

She was a former housewares clerk for the former Bowman's Department Store, West Shore Plaza, Lemoyne and the former Pomeroy's Department Store, Harrisburg. She was a member and former summer bible school and Sunday school teacher, deacon and pastoral search committee member of First Church of the Brethren, Harrisburg: and TRW Pioneers Club.

She was born 5/16/21 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA to the late Lionel and Myrtle (Burd) Lewellen.

She is survived by her husband Philip E. Mascioli; 3 sons, P. Eugene, II of Harrisburg, Kenneth L. of West Chester and Richard S. of Mechanicsburg; a brother Arthur Lewellen of Mechanicsburg; and 2 grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 am Monday 4/3/2000 in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be 11 am Tuesday in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Hanover Twp., PA

Viewing will be from 6-8pm Sunday evening and 10-10:30 am Monday in the funeral home.

Phillip E. Mascioli
Philip E. Mascioli, 77, of Lemoyne, died Sunday, July 09, 2000 at Manor Care, Camp Hill, PA.

He was a retired machinist for TRW, Harrisburg; Former owner and operator of Phil's Tailor Shop, Fairchance, PA; former head Tailor at the former Pomeroy's, downtown Harrisburg; former employee of Manbeck's Bakery, Lemoyne; a member of First Church of the Brethren, Harrisburg; Enola Gun Club; Pioneers Club of TRW; he was known as a person who enjoyed making other people smile; he was a collector of matchbooks and steins.

He was born June 29, 1923 to the late Ugo and Anna (Pitek) Mascioli in Uniontown, PA.

He is the widower of Leona L. Lewellen Mascioli and was preceded in death by a brother Paul Mascioli. He is survived by three sons, P. Eugene, II, Hbg, Kenneth L., West Chester, Richard S., Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Joseph, Uniontown, and Anthony, Connellsville; a sister Mary Catherine Mansel, North Versailles, PA; two grand children; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11am Wednesday at his church with the Revs. Nancy S. and Irvin R. Heishman officiating. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Visitation will be held 10-11am at the church.

John H. "Jack" McCabe
John H. "Jack" McCabe, 75, of Camp Hill, PA, died Thursday, April 13, 2000 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp., PA.

He was a retired supervisor for the U.S. Dept of Defense at the former New Cumberland Army Depot. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII having served three years aboard the USS Bainbridge DD246 on the Atlantic Ocean and was also a veteran of the US Army Reserve. He was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill; a former president of National Assn. of Retired Federal Employees; VFW Post 6704, Mechanicsburg; Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, West Shore Lodge #2257; he was a firefighter in the Shaker Road Volunteer Fire Department, Loudonville, NY; and was also a former basketball coach for St. Pius X School, also of Loudonville, NY

He is survived by his wife Patricia A. (Osborn) McCabe; a son John H. McCabe, Jr. Pittsford, NY; a daughter Jill A. McCabe, Harrisburg; a brother Thomas J. McCabe, Albany, NY; 4 grand children.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Monday in his church with the Rev. Alfred P. Sceski, as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Viewing will be 6-8pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with a time of remembrance beginning at 7pm.

Harry C. Miller
Harry C. Miller, 85, of New Cumberland, died Thursday at his home.

He was a retired Electrician and Radio and TV Repairman from Factory Service Company, Lewisberry.

He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg and served on its Vestry for 14 years.

He was a past member of Civil War Round Table Organization, Carlisle.

He was born June 6, 1914 in Dauphin to the late Henry and Ruth Noss (Yinger) Miller. He is survived by his wife, Helen L. (Small) Miller and a daughter, Patricia S. Bixler of Mechanicsburg.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Viewing will be from 9:30am until 10:30am Monday at the funeral home.

William H. Miller
William H. Miller, Jr., 76, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He was a retired Air Condition Specialist with Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg. He was a Navy WWII Veteran; a member of New Cumberland Boating and Fishing Club; VFW Post # 7415, and American Legion Post 143, both of New Cumberland; AARP; avid fisher and hunter; PSU football fan.

He was born 3/2/1924 in New Cumberland, PA to the late William H., Sr. and Mellie Miller.

He is survived by his wife Helen A. (Rhodes) Miller; a step son John E. Shaffer, Smithville, TN; two step  daughters, Connie J. Williams, Shermansdale, and Debbie J. Page, Newport; six step grand children and 4 step great grand children.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl F. Peterson, Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Viewing will be 1-2pm Friday at the funeral home.

June A. Hutchinson Mowrey
June A. Hutchinson Mowrey, 75, of New Cumberland, PA, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.

She was a member of Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and was a graduate of the former New Cumberland High School Class of 1942.

She was born July 13, 1924 in Fairview Twp. She was the widow of William R. Mowrey.

She is survived by a son Michael A. Mowrey, Pfafftown, , NC; a daughter Cynthia L. Smee, New Cumberland; a brother Robert C. Walters, New Cumberland; three sisters, Betty Rosenberger, Beverly Gray, and Sandy Estep, all of New Cumberland; six grand children; three great grand children; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Lawrence C. Focht, her pastor, officiating . Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Fairview Twp.

Viewing will be from 1-2pm Friday at the funeral home.

James H. Moyer, 77, of Fairview Twp., died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Woodland Center for Nursing, Fairview Twp.

He was a retired custodian for the West Shore School District; an Army WWII veteran; a member of VFW Post # 6343, Elizabethville; American Legion Post 984, West Fairview.

He was born December 18, 1922 in Elizabethville, PA to the late Amos R. and Lavina (Maiden) Moyer.

He is survived by his wife Gladys M. (Barry) Moyer; a son Terry Moyer, Danville; two  daughters, Patricia A. Thomas, Etters, and Michele E. Moyer, Carlisle; two brothers, Donald Moyer, Gratz, and Richard Moyer, Shiremanstown; 7 grand children; 13 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland with the Rev. Timothy R. Baer, Fishing Creek Salem Untied Methodist Church, Etters, officiating. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be 10-11 am Tuesday at the funeral home.

John Edward Muhlbauer, 52, of Eugene, OR, died Saturday, July 29, 2000 in Springetsbury Twp., PA.

He was a former employee of the former St. Johnsbury Trucking, Camp Hill, PA.

He was born September 30, 1947 in Altoona, PA to the late Andrew A. and Kathryn T. (Harkins) Muhlbauer.

He is survived by a brother William A. Muhlbauer, New Cumberland, PA; and a sister Jayne E. Wolfe, York Haven, PA; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Anna Marie "Nancy" Nazay, 71, of New Cumberland died Sunday April 9,2000 in Harrisburg Hospital.

She was a retired secretary for the former New Cumberland Army Depot, Fairview Twp. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; Metropolitan Area Singles Dance Group; and Past President of Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, Harrisburg.

She was born 9/7/1928 in Drexel Hill, PA to the late John C. & Lillian (Foster) Ridewood.

She was the widow of Richard Joseph Nazay and is survived by 3  daughters, Teresa S. "Sandy" Nazay of New Cumberland, Victoria N. Wheeler of Enola and Stacy Lynn Nazay of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a son Richard J. Nazay, Jr. of Carlisle; a sister Margaret M. Sweikert of Naples, FL; 6 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday in her church with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence, her pastor as celebrant. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery, Harrisburg.

Melba H. Nissley
Melba H. Nissley, of Camp Hill, died Monday, April 3, 2000 at Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp.

She was a Contract Officer at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown and retired as a Contract Specialist from the Department of Education, Washington, DC. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Shiremanstown and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

She was the widow of John R. Nissley. Surviving is her son, Robert E. Nissley of Camp Hill.

Services will be held at 10am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Alfred A. Obenhardt
Alfred A. Oberhardt, 76, of Camp Hill, PA, died Sunday, March 05, 2000 at his residence.

He was a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

He is survived by his daughter Marilyn R. Oberhardt Barker, Arlington, MA; a son Matthew C. Oberhardt, San Francisco, CA; a grand daughter Katherine E. Barker; a son-in-law Frederick G. Barker, Arlington, MA.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Hanover Twp.

John R. Phillips, 80, of West Manchester Twp. and formerly of Camp Hill died Monday 7/17/2000 in York Hospital.

He was a retired Regional Vice President and General Manager for Maryland Casualty Insurance Company, Camp Hill and was currently employed by Best & Company, NJ. He was a WWII Army veteran who earned the European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Stars and served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and the Central European Theaters.

He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill and attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Manchester. He was a member of Lowther Manor Lodge #781, F&AM, Camp Hill and the Hawks Gunning Club, York. He was born 3/27/20 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Reese and Emma Jane (Hill) Phillips.

He is survived by his wife Jean E. (Gentzler) Chronister Phillips; a daughter Donna Jane Goodwin of Beaver Springs, PA; a step son Todd R. Chronister of York; a step daughter Sandra J. Ellis of Mont Pelier, VA; a sister Emma Jane Pazula of Morris Plains, NJ; 5 grandchildren.

Services will be held 1:30 pm Thursday in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

He was a retired supervisor of regional laundry for the former New Cumberland Army Depot; an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII; a member of 455th Bomb Group (H) Association, Inc. 15th Air force WWII; Past President and Area Governor of Toastmasters, International, West Shore Chapter; He was a Meritorious Service Award Recipient; a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg; attended Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters; West Shore Lodge # 681, F. & A.M., Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; past member of consistory choir and chanters; Zembo Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S., Harrisburg and its Greeters Unit; V.F.W. Post 7415 and American Legion Post 143, both of New Cumberland; N.A.R.F.E.; AARP.

He was born March 24, 1920 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Epifano and Benedetta (Valenza) Rabena.

He is survived by his wife Betty R. (Moody) Rabena; a son Brian E. Rabena, Etters; a daughter Karen B. Miller, Lewisberry; three brothers, Julius Rabena, New Cumberland, Albert Rabena, New Cumberland, Theodore Rabena, New Cumberland; four grand children; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 2pm Friday at Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters. Burial will be 12:30 pm Friday in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Visitation will follow the service in the church.

George E. Reimer
George E. Reimer, 91, of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, died Monday at the Village.

He received his Bachelor's Degree from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster and his Masters from Columbia University, New York City. He was a retired Executive Director of the former Pennsylvania Society of Crippled Children and Adults which developed into what is now Easter Seals. He was the Past President of National Easter Seal Society Executives Association; Past President and Secretary of Rotary Club of Harrisburg since 1947; Past District Governor of Rotary International District 739; Past President of Executive Club of Central Pennsylvania; and Past President of Bethany Village Resident's Council.

He was born June 18, 1908 in Flicksville, PA to the late Eli and Carrie (Farrow) Reimer. His son, Bruce G. Reimer, also predeceases him.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Davies Reimer; a daughter, Sandra Reimer Ulrich of Gales Ferry, CT; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11am Thursday at Bethany Village Community Room. Interment will be in United Church of Christ cemetery, Flicksville, PA.

Visitation will be from 10:30am until time of service Thursday at the Village.

Rocco J. Restagno, 71, of Camp Hill died Thursday September 14, 2000 in Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a retired bar tender for the former Castiglia's Restaurant, Harrisburg, a WWII Army veteran and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill.

He was born 11/17/28 in Steelton, PA to Philomena (Crescenzi) Restagno and the late John Restagno.

He is survived by his wife Louise J. Restagno; a daughter Mary Jane Lutz of New Cumberland; his mother Philomena (Crescenzi) Restagno of Camp Hill; 2 sisters, Mary Cray and Natalie Sasa, both of Harrisburg; 2 brothers, Raymond of Lewisberry and Victor of Harrisburg; and 2 grandsons, Robert E. and Nick R. Lutz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30pm Monday 9/18/2000 in his church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.

Viewing will be from 6-8pm Sunday in the Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland with the recitation of the Rosary at 7pm.
