William Bill Seip, Sr.

William Bill Seip, Sr., age 61, of Middlebury Center, PA, died Monday, June 04, 2007. Bill was the husband of Catherine Kitty Seip. He was born June 5, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Charles and Olive (Young) Seip. Bill was an auctioneer for 15 years. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Wellsboro, PA. Bill loved his family, enjoyed auctioneering, antiques, and his dogs, Fancy and Lucky.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kitty; two sons and  daughters-in-law, Frederick Fred and Laurie Seip of Millerton, PA, William Bill and Susanna Seip of Corning, NY; three  daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine Cathi Seip of Philadelphia, PA, Ann Marie and Thomas Thomas of Mansfield, PA, Karen and Wade DeLong of Holiday, PA; seven grandchildren, Michael, Aimee, Kathleen, Gregory, Jennifer, Brandon and Rebecca; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lorraine Seip of NJ; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Everett Couples of NJ, Joyce and Marty Hahn of NJ; aunt, Ardell Young of PA; several nieces and nephews.

Carol Joyce DeLong

Carol Joyce DeLong, age 55, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at her home. Carol was born on March 28, 1952 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Dorsey and Frances Alberta (VanOrder) Brown Wilcox.

Carol is survived by three sons and  daughters-in-law, Wade and Karen DeLong of Holiday, PA, Matthew (fianc, Jubelyn) DeLong of Wellsboro, PA, Benjamin DeLong of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter, Amanda (fianc, Tony Stitely) DeLong of Arnot, PA; two grandchildren, Ian Hulbert and Kadence Stitely; six sisters, Anna Rose Huddleston, of GA, Shirley Joan (Colie) Smith of Tioga, PA, Janet May Packer of Troy, PA, Darlene Alberta (Allen) Hannon of Virginia, Phyllis Jean (John) Zimmers of Middlebury, PA, Margaret Ann (Hugh) Blalock of Texas. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie Lee, Norman, Dorsey Brown, Jr.

Hugh Faughnan

Hugh Faughnan, age 71, of Williamsport, PA, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Sycamore Manor Health Center, Montoursville, PA. Hugh was born on August 21, 1935 in Williamsport, PA, a son of John Frances and Lena (Whitzel) Faughnan. Hugh was a retired lineman and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Hugh is survived by three sons and  daughters-in-law, Bill D. and Sally Faughnan of Covington, PA, Raymond F. and Tina Faughnan of Morris Run, PA, David W. Faughnan of Blossburg, PA; one daughter, Kathy A. Pearson of Blossburg, PA; six grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a special friend, Norma Dultry of Williamsport, PA; several nieces and nephews. Hugh was predeceased by a son, Robert R. Faughnan in 1965.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Calvary Mennonite Fellowship in Morris Run, PA with Pastor Robert Martin officiating. Richard Leon Ross Sr.

Richard Leon Ross Sr., age 68, of Trout Run, PA died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Nila (Campbell) Ross. Leon was born on September 26, 1938 in Trout Run, PA, the son of Charles and Erma (Caldwell) Ross. Leon was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He had been an employee for the Darling Valve Manufacturing in Williamsport, PA. Leon was a self employed farmer and the owner and operator of Rosss Custom Meat Processing. His favorite past times were hunting and spending time in the outdoors.

Leon is survived by his wife Nila, two sons Richard L. (Kelli) Ross Jr. and Calvin L. (Sandy) Ross all of Trout Run, PA, two  daughters and a son-in-law Barbara D (Michael) Greenway, Sue Livermore all of Williamsport, PA, grandchildren Scott, Staci, and Brion Livermore, Tashina and NaKoma Ross, three great grandchildren Mea and Bailey Livermore, Louis Mercantino IV, and a sister Clara Mae Penny Gramling of Woolrich, PA. He was preceded in death by an infant twin daughter Brenda Lee Ross in 1958, brothers; Donald, Kenneth, Dale, Willard Ross, and sisters; Mary Litzelman and Alice Davis.

Patrick D. Eckman

Patrick D. Eckman, age 43, of Millville, NJ and formerly of Millerton, PA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August, 5, 2007 at home. Born on March 15, 1964 in Blossburg, PA , he was the son of Robert L. and Mary Anne (Spencer) Eckman of Lawrenceville, PA. Patrick was married to Amy (Storch) Eckman of Pine City, NY.

Patrick was employed as a mechanic by Alcan Industries in Millville, NJ, and was a U.S. Naval veteran achieving the rank of Petty Officer Third Class. He was a 1982 graduate of Williamson Jr./Sr. High School, former member of the Millerton Volunteer Fire Department, Cub Pack 68 and the Millerton Little League. He enjoyed scuba diving, 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing, camping on his parents land and cooking.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Patrick is survived by two  daughters, Erika Chelsea and MaKenzie Renee Eckman of Pine City, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Penny Eckman of Tioga, PA, Michael and Diane Eckman of Lawrenceville, PA; a sister, Deborah Eckman of Albuquerque, NM; one niece, Rachel Eckman-Knapp, one nephew, Michael R. Eckman, and one great niece, Caitlyn Knapp.

A private memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, with the Rev. Jacek Bailkowski officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donald Lee Ayers

Donald Lee Ayers age 54 of Mansfield, PA died Monday, August 13, 2007 at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Donald was born on November 13, 1952 in Blossburg, PA the son of Alberta Ayers. He was a member of the Arnot Sportsmens Club in Arnot, PA. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, martial arts, singing karaoke, and spending time with the grandchildren.

Donald is survived by a son and daughter in-law Rick and Elizabeth McKay of Mansfield, PA, five  daughters and a son-in-law Robin and Bill Baldwin of Harrisburg, PA, Leah, Kellie, Katie, and Jennifer Ayers all of St. Marys, PA, five grandchildren, his mother Alberta Greene of Mansfield, PA, three brothers Edward Greene of Mansfield, PA, Howard Billy and Timothy Greene of Ohio, three sisters Patricia Stahle of AL, Julie Rose of Waverly, NY, Cindy Jerrells of FL, his ex-wife and her husband Bonnie and Cortland Parker of Covington, PA.

Clifford Donald Havens

Clifford Donald Havens age 80 of Elkland, PA, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Clifford was born on January 18, 1927 in Elkland, PA the son of Alvin and Leona G. (McGuire) Havens. He was a WWII US Army veteran.

Clifford is survived by two sons and  daughters-in-law David and Debra Havens of Rochester, NY, Steven and Joy Havens of Mansfield, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Catherine and Floyd Young of Mansfield, PA, seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother Leo Havens of Hammondsport, NY. Clifford was preceded in death by two brothers James and Robert Havens and a sister Beatrice Crans.

Catherine Kay (Gerstenfield) Weisbrod

Catherine Kay (Gerstenfield) Weisbrod, age 75, of Cape May, NJ, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her  daughters home in Wellsboro, PA. Kay was born on January 21, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Fred and Teresa (Burns) Gerstenfield. She was married to Martin F. Weisbrod with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on December 24, 2007. Kay was a homemaker who enjoyed her family.

In addition to her husband, Martin, Kay is survived by one son, Martin S. Weisbrod, of Seattle, WA; three  daughters and a son-in-law, Diane Hamman and Horace Turner of Glochester, MA, Lynne Weisbrod of Wellsboro, PA, Catherine Cat Weisbrod of Westfield, PA; one brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Annie Gerstenfield of Florida; three grandchildren, Eric, Nick and Kim Oswald and four great grandchildren, Rayven, Kira, Aeris and Domnick.

Martina Irene (Maleck) Johnson

Martina Irene (Maleck) Johnson, age 64, of Tioga, PA, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on July 12, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Walter and Irene (Mihalik) Maleck. Martina was married for 43 years to Ronald E. Johnson, retired Engineering Fellow from Corning Inc.

Martina (Tina) studied Medical Laboratory Technology at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Prior to its closing, Martina was employed as a medical lab technician at Blossburg State Hospital in Blossburg, PA. Throughout Martina's life she wasactive in many pursuits, and had many achievements, but she was particularly proud of her original artistic accomplishments, such as complex Pysanky egg designs, intricate hand-cut wallpaper designs, and numerous unique floral designs. One of her specialties was topiary trees. She spent many meticulous hours in creating unique topiary trees by combining flowers with all kinds of treasures from nature, many of which she personally found, gathered, and preserved. Martina enjoyed using her artistic skills for making very high quality silk floral arrangements, and she made the floral arrangements for weddings, as far away as New York City, Washington DC, and Florida.

Martina was gifted artist, and in the early 1980s several of her drawings were printed on Corelle plates and cups at Corning Inc. during the introduction of a new glass decorating process at manufacturing plants in Corning, NY and Paden City, WVA. She also renovated much of the interiors of her Victorian home in Tioga, PA, as well as her vacation home in Sodus Point, NY. Martina was never idle. If it needed doing, Martina did it. She even did her own carpentry and plumbing. Shealso was an avid, knowledgeable gardener, and was often outdoors working with plants and trees of many varieties and sizes.

People knew her as energetic, always young, and very compassionate. She was one of the rare people who truly could put others before themselves. Martina was an activist on many important issues. She supported many animal welfare and nature conservancy organizations. Most recently she was active in promoting the banning of outdoor wood-burning furnaces, and just prior to her stroke had spoken at a workshop on the subject in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania.

Martina is survived by her husband, Ronald, her parents, Walter and Irene Maleck of Tioga, PA, a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Heidi Johnson, and one grandson, Kyle Johnson, of Julian, PA.

A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church on Broad Street in Tioga, PA on Sunday October 28 from 3 to 5 PM. Constance 'Connie' L. Primavera

Constance 'Connie' L. Primavera, age 74, of Roseville, PA, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at her  daughters home surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born June 20, 1933 in Kentucky, a daughter of Callie and Ivy (Fannin) Holstein. She was the wife of the late Paul T. Primavera and Charles Mason Guthrie. Connie attended the Roseville Independent Baptist Church. She loved playing bingo, fishing, and bowling.

Connie is survived by her children; Linda (Carl) Salevsky, Jerry (Linda) Guthrie, Charles (Debbie) Guthrie II, Marsha (Doug) Sowden, Sr., David (Sue) Guthrie, Donald (Elva) Guthrie, Ronald (Chantal) Guthrie, Michelle (Joseph) Schorr, Denise Guthrie, and Cheryl Antes; grandchildren, Michael Guthrie, Carla Rishel, Caren Kaiser, Jeremy and Jesse Guthrie, Charles Guthrie III, and Steven Guthrie, Eric and Vanessa Heath and deceased grandson Christopher Heath, Douglas Jr. and Daniel Sowden, Jessica and Brandon Guthrie, Donald Guthrie, Jr., Lance and Zachary Guthrie, Amanda Maar, John III and James, Samantha Antes; great grandchildren, Morgan, Teal, Tai, Bailey, Sarah, Jordan, Chloe, Christopher, Kayla, Logan, Dylan, Haley, Derek, Briaunna, Ryan, and Cody.; brothers and sisters, Judy, Larry, Lowell, Dreama, Roy, and Sue; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Paul T. Primavera and brothers and sisters; Bobbie, DeeDee, Daniel, and Randall.

Louis Fredrick Lappa

Louis Fredrick Lappa age 81 of Lawrenceville, PA died on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Bath, NY. Louis was the husband of Roberta J. (Hurlbert) Lappa with whom he observed a 50th wedding anniversary on October 7, 2007. Louis was born on December 7, 1925 in Chicago, IL a son of Samuel and Nancy Lappa. He had been employed by the Elkland Tannery, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the A&P Plant. He was a WWII US Army veteran, a member of the American Legion in Morris, PA and the VFW in Wellsboro, PA. Louis enjoyed his family, trout fishing, football, sports and dancing.

Louis is survived by his wife Roberta, two sons Michael (Frankie Herb) Lappa of and John (Trina Wilson) Lappa all of Lawrenceville, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Nathan Murray of Wysox, PA, three grandchildren Mitch Bliss, Cody ODell, and Ryan ODell. Louis was preceded in death by an infant daughter Kelly Lynn Lappa in 1965, his parents, a brother Nick Lappa, and a sister Mary College.

John Edward 'John E.' Staron

John Edward 'John E.' Staron age 47 of Mansfield, PA died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home. John E. was born on December 19, 1959 in Blossburg, PA a son of Joseph and Beverly (Smith) Staron. He was the owner, operator and mechanic of Starons Garage. John E. was a member of the Arnot Sportsmens Club, he enjoyed model cars and spending time with his dog, Winter Hawk.

John E. is survived by his mother Beverly Staron of Mansfield, PA; his  Father and step mother Joseph and Lee Staron of Arnot, PA; a brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Joan Staron of Liberty, PA; a sister and brother-in-law Kim Marie and Stan Craig of San Diego, CA; stepbrother William Bogaczyk of Nashville, TN; niece Jennifer (Eric) Broughton of Morris, PA; two nephews Sheldon (Nicole) Staron of Williamsport, PA, Skyler Staron; a great nephew Cooper A. Broughton, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

John E. was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Boyd & Pearl Smith, paternal grandparents Frank and Helen Staron.

Florence A. Benson

Florence A. Benson age 82 of Millerton, PA, died on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the Bradford County Manor. She was a resident of the Bakercrest Home For The Elderly for 18 years. Florence was born on July 27, 1925 in Rutland Twp. Tioga, Co., she was a daughter of Ashford W. and Lucy B. (McConnell) Benson. She enjoyed spending time at the Mansfield Senior Center.

Florence is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Leland Lee and Helen Benson of Montoursville, PA, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friends Beverly and Barbara. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and a sister; Ottis, Rosie, Raymond, Lewis, Lester, Wilbur and Gordon.

Paul Chilson

Paul Chilson age 84 of Arnot, PA died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Paul was the husband of Hazel (Perry) Chilson for 61 years. He was born on February 28, 1923 in Towanda, PA the son of David Harrison and Anna (Mayo) Chilson. Paul was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed restoring antiques and building clocks.

Paul is survived by his wife Hazel of Arnot, PA a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Charlie Stoops of Selinsgrove, PA, two granddaughters; Teresa Hoar, Jennifer Chubb, and great granddaughter Faith Lynn Elizabeth Hoar. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Max Chilson and a sister Doris Porter.

William J. Webb

William J. Webb age 68 of Middlebury Center, PA died at home on Monday, November 26, 2007. He was the husband of Florence (Hargan) Webb with whom he observed a 47th wedding anniversary on November 11, 2007. William was born on May 25, 1939 in Chester, PA the son of Howard and Regina (McNally) Webb. He was as veteran of the US Navy. William was a member of a VFW and the Loyal order of the Moose in Elkland, PA. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, old cars and the outdoors.

William is survived by his wife, Florence of Middlebury Center, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Barbarajean Regina (Tom) McGrath of Mays Landing and his canine buddy, Morty.

Oscar A. Carlson

Oscar A. Carlson, age 87, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Blossburg, PA died on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Oscar was born on September 28, 1920 in Blossburg, PA, the son of the late John and Margaret Landrus Carlson. He was married to the late Ann Strong Carlson.

Oscar was formerly employed as a Security Guard for JP Ward Foundry.

He was a former member of the Highway Tabernacle Church in Mansfield, PA and enjoyed building remote control trains and planes.

Oscar is survived by two  daughters and a son-in-law Peggy and Vernon Morqan of Mainesburg, PA, Betty Ann Walburn of Susquehanna, PA, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Wendy Bartlett on May 3, 1990 and six brothers.

Margaret E. Greene

Margaret E. Greene, age 88, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, November 19, 2007 in Broad Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Margaret was born on July 4, 1919 in Easton, PA, the daughter of Charles W. and Florence (Wilson) Keiper. She was married to the late Samuel Greene, Jr.

Margaret was formerly employed as a factory worker for American Can and Silk Mills (making parachutes during WWII) in Easton, PA, and as a waitress at Key City Diner in Phillipsburg, NJ.

She was member of the First Baptist Church, Mansfield, PA. Margaret enjoyed the outdoors, taking walks, fishing, camping and snowmobiling.

Margaret is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel A. and Susan L. Greene, III of Mansfield, PA; one grandson, Jason H. Greene of Mansfield, PA, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Samuel, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Keiper.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the North Hampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA. Verna M. Horton Austin

Verna M. Horton Austin, age 94, of Henrietta, NY. formerly of Lindley, NY, Painted Post, NY and Wellsboro, PA died on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was the wife of the late Adrian L. Austin. Verna was born on February 21, 1913 in Tioga County, PA., the daughter of the late Ervin S. and Minnie Ann Creeley Horton.

Verna and her late husband Adrian L. Austin owned and operated a gas station and grocery store in Lindley, NY from 1950 1978. She formerly employed by Corning Glass in Wellsboro, PA and as a Housekeeper/Nanny.

She attended the East Lawrence Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, PA, was named Lindley Senior Citizen of the year, a member of the Lindley Presho Senior Club, Wally Byum Airstream Club, Lindley Presho Firemans Auxiliary, former member of the Rebbeccas in Wellsboro and an honorary member of the Gem and Mineral Club. Verna enjoyed bowling, crocheting and knitting for her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Verna is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence Ervin and Christina Aguilar Austin of Colorado; two  daughters and a son-in-law, Virginia and Paul Doud of Lawrenceville, PA and Joyce and Robert B. Shutts of Henrietta, NY.; 6 grandchildren Stephen (Beverly) Young; Dean (Cindi) Young; Christopher Austin; Richard (Eliazer) Austin; David (Carolyn) Doud, Michelle (Rusty) Clark, 11 great grandchildren; Shane, Jack, Harry, Skyler, Richard, Adrian, Allison, Alex, Ashleigh, Victoria and Kaitlyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, three great grandchildren Angela, Christopher and Benjamin; two brothers, Hugh K. Horton ; Cleave E. Horton and an infant sister.

Main St., Mansfield, PA and on Friday, December 14, 2007 from 12:30 PM to 1 PM at the East Lawrence Baptist Church, Lawrencevillle, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing on Friday, at 1 pm at the church with the Pastor G. Victor Perry officiating. Burial will be in West Branch cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.

Olin L. Chamberlain

Olin L. Chamberlain, age 84, of Mainesburg, PA, died on Friday, January 4, 2008 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on February 26, 1923 in Columbia Cross Roads, PA, he was the son of Olin and Leslie (Earley) Chamberlain. Olin and his wife, Edna R. (Purvis) Chamberlain, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on October 24, 2007. .

Olin founded Chamberlains Bus Service which he owned and operated for 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. Olin was a member of the Mainesburg United Methodist Church, the Mansfield VFW and the American Legion. He enjoyed drinking coffee with the guys at Eddies Truck Stop, mowing lawns on his John Deere tractor and collecting toy buses.

In addition to his wife, Edna, Olin is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law; Bill and Carol Chamberlain of Covington, PA, Le Chamberlain of Surfside Beach, S.C., David Chamberlain of Wayland, N.Y., one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Roger Smith of Mansfield, PA, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Burdette and Dorothy Chamberlain of Lawrenceville, PA, Glen and Barbara Chamberlain of Elmira, NY; one sister, Lola Smith of Horseheads, NY; nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Olin was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kary Chamberlain; three brothers, Walter Buster Chamberlain, LaVerne Pete Chamberlain, Edward Eddie Andrews; and a sister, Nina Puryear.

Kenneth Howard Cushing

Kenneth Howard Cushing, age 58, of Tioga, PA, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital, Elmira, NY. Ken was born March 3, 1949, in Blossburg, PA, a son of Arnold and Lorraine Cushing. Kenneth was the husband of Sandra L. (Burrows) Cushing. Kenneth loved and enjoyed his grandchildren, the outdoors, his garage and stock cars.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sandra; a son, Randy Cushing,  daughters, Robin (Andrew) Robbins, and Ronda Sisser (Chuck) Downey; grandchildren, Curtis, Cory, Nicholas, Heather, Brian, Chaz and Andrew; brothers, Virgil and Maynard Cushing; sisters, Gloria Clemens, Penny Cushing, Marlene Gillett, Sandra Thorpe, Jeanne Passeri, Pauline Six; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth, Jr., brother, Ronald Cushing.

Christine C. Teeny Cleveland

Christine C. Teeny Cleveland, age 82, of Mansfield, PA, died on Thursday, January 17, 2008 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Christine was born on October 22, 1925 in Endicott, NY, a daughter of Henry and Ethel (Bailey) Campbell. She was married to the late Kenneth A. Cleveland.

Christine was formerly employed as a clerk for Coles Pharmacy. Her hobbies were reading and crocheting.

Christine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Joseph Trepanier of Caledonia, NY; three grandchildren, Andrew (Jennie), Erik and Gillian (Kenneth) Meyer; one great grandson, Andrew; one sister, E. Joyce Brown of Melbourne, FL; a special niece, Elizabeth Clark of Colleyville, TX; several nieces and nephews and a special family friend, Edward Dorsett of Morris, CT. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Robbins.

Earl Wilford Roupp

Earl Wilford Roupp, age 63, of Roaring Branch, PA, son of Welford and Martha Roupp, born on July 17, 1944, died Sunday, January 13, 2008. Survived by his wife, Carol, married for 36 years; one daughter, Crystal (Roupp) Pequignot and her husband, Shawn; one granddaughter, Misty; one grandson, Dylon; one son, Tim Roupp and his wife, Tami; a step-grandson, Zack.

Ruthanne Lane Brueilly

Ruthanne Lane Brueilly, age 79, of Asheboro, NC, formerly of Mansfield, PA, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008, in NC. Ruthanne was born on January 16, 1929 in Tioga County, PA, the daughter of Harry W. and Mae Lovinia (Lent) Lane. She was a graduate of the Philadelphia School of the Bible, and Mansfield University in the field of Education, with a Masters Degree in Special Ed and Elementary Ed. She taught several years for the Troy Area School District. She was the wife of Richard Brueilly whom she married on June 23, 1951. Ruthanne was a devout Christian, active in many church functions until she was physically unable to do so and moved to Asheboro, NC.

Ruthanne is survived by her husband, Richard Brueilly; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve and Jane Brueilly, David Brueilly; three  daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Regenald Stoby, Diane Brueilly, and Phyllis and James Festa; grandchildren, Tyler Brueilly, Jonathan Stoby and Naomi Stoby, Tracy and Joe Sweely, Mike and Juanita Brueilly, Tim Brueilly, Shawn Brueilly; great grandchildren, Katlin Brueilly, Grace Brueilly, Faith Brueilly, and Gavin Brueilly. Ruth was predeceased by a daughter and three grandchildren.

Diane (Taft) Cross Rundell

Diane (Taft) Cross Rundell age 65 of Tioga, PA died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Diane was the wife of the late Richard S. Cross who died in 1981. She was born on August 4, 1942 in Corning, NY the daughter of John and Isabel (Chart) Taft. Diane had been employed by the Shamray Hadath Synagogue in Elmira, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking.

Diane is survived by two sons and  daughters-in-law Stanley and Michelle Cross of Millersburg, PA, Daniel and Christine Cross of Tioga, PA three  daughters and sons-in-law Kristine and Larry Paddock of Millerton, PA, Ellen and Michael Fell of Horseheads, NY, Betsy and Timothy Deacon of Tioga, PA, seventeen grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, two brothers and sisters-in-law John and Shirley Taft of Tioga, PA, Ken and Nancy Taft of Millerton, PA, aunt Peggy Chart of Poughkeepsie, NY, a special friends Beverly Tompkins of Corning, NY and Bill, Sheryl, Marylou
