Patricia O'Donnell, 54, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001. Born June 17, 1947, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Frederick K. and Elizabeth (George) Woodard of Baden. Mrs. O'Donnell was a member of Ss. John and Paul Roman Catholic Church. She was a registered nurse and enjoyed her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Manus O'Donnell, whom she married Jan. 31, 1970; daughter, Mrs. Kurt (Sally) Martin of Mars; sons, Tim N. O'Donnell of Evans City and Kevin M. O'Donnell of Mars.; sister, Mrs. Larry (Kimberly) Bridge of New Jersey; brother, Frederick K. Woodard Jr. of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren. Friends received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the GLENN-KILDOO CRANBERRY CHAPEL, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Twp. Mary Jane Panek, 78, on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, in UPMC Shadyside. Born Nov. 10, 1922, in Fayette City, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Coates Korch, and sister of the late Charles Korch. Mrs. Panek was a former co-owner of Lawrence the Florist in McKeesport and was formerly employed at G.C. Murphy Co. and Gimbels. She was a member of St. Mary Czestochowa Parish in McKeesport, the McKeesport American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Polish National Union of America. She was also a former den mother of Cub Scout Pack #146 in Green Valley. She is survived by her husband, Julian W. Panek; daughter, Joanne Dorazio of White Oak; sons, Ronald F. Panek of McKeesport and Julian J. Panek of Brunswick, Ga.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Stella Solvay and Helen Mushalko, both of McKeesport; brother, Joseph Korch of North Versailles; nieces and nephews. Margaret G. Geci Rayman, 82, of North Versailles, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, in the LGAR Home, Turtle Creek. She was born June 21, 1919, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Andrew and Sophia Mayerski Geci. Margaret was a retired employee of Gimbels Department Store, a member of the V.I.P. Senior Citizens and V.I.P. Travel Club, both of North Versailles. She was a member of the East Allegheny AARP and an avid bowler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Rayman; three brothers, Andrew, Michael and John Geci; and a sister, Ann Turkovic. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Hilty of Irwin; three grandchildren, Sherri Sawders and husband, Daryl, of East McKeesport, Richard Hilty of Grapeville and Jeffrey Hilty of North Versailles; two great-great grandchildren, Brianne and Jeremy Sawders; a sister, Mary Maha of McKeesport; a brother, Edward Geci of McKeesport; a sister-in-law, Ella Geci of McKeesport; and nieces and nephews. Richard A. ``Dick" Roberts, 85, of Ligonier, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born July 22, 1916, in Crabtree, a son of the late Anthony and Angela Leone Roberts. Prior to retirement, he had owned the Darlingion Inn for 45 years and was employed as a driving examiner for the Pennsylvania State Police in Greensburg for 18 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church of Ligonier, the Holy Name Society and a former usher of the church. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Edward Roberts; two sisters, Evelyn Rega and Genevieve Benevento. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth ``Betty" Corna Roberts; three sons, Francis and his wife, Carol Evans Roberts, Richard Roberts Jr. and his wife, Karen, all of Pittsburgh and the Rev. Edward Roberts of Ligonier; twin granddaughters, Dierdre and Delaney Roberts; and three brothers, Eugene of Sacramento, Calif., Joseph of Ocala, Fla., and Alvin of Tampa, Fla. Family will receive friends at the SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC. & CREMATORY, Ligonier, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A vigil service for the deceased will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. Blessing service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, with his son, the Rev. Hazel H. (Felgar) Rugg, of Scottdale, passed away early Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, 2001, in her home. Hazel was born in East Huntingdon Township, the only child of the late Ray F. and Annie Rose Hays Felgar. She married Wilbur C. Rugg July 27, 1974. Hazel was a longtime resident of the Scottdale area and a former sales clerk with Morris' Clothing Store in Scottdale for 15 years. Years ago she was affiliated with the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and attended East Huntingdon High School. Hazel also enjoyed bird watching. Hazel is survived by her loving family, her husband of 27 years, Wilbur C. Rugg; three stepdaughters, Bonnie Sandusky and husband, William, of Scottdale, Jeanne Anderson and husband, Dean, of Scottdale, and Donna Bieniek and husband, Rick, of Little Summit (Dunbar); seven grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Addie Anderson, Hayley Anderson, Ivy Bieniek, Gretel Bieniek, Conrad Sandusky and Sadie Sandusky; and one great-grandson, Ryley Anderson. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Felgar. She was born July 16, 1957, in DuBois, Clearfield County, daughter of Belva (Munn) (Hixon) Silvis (Mrs. David J.) of St. Marys and the late George Alfred Hixon Sr. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Sprague; children, Steve Ghezzi of Penfield, Pa., and Suzanne Ghezzi of Reynoldsville; brothers, George A. Hixon Jr. of DuBois and Albert Bruce Hixon of Penfield. A 1975 graduate of DuBois High School, Mrs. Sprague was a highway construction carpenter and Protestant by faith. Smokey was a retired employee of National Aluminum of Murrysville. He was a member of the Italian American Club of Export and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Scarton Stover; three children, Victor Stover of Hershey, Pa., Sherry L. Stover of Export and Danny C. Stover and his wife, Connie, of Leechburg; a brother, Dr. Gary L. Stover and his wife, Debi, of Apollo; a sister, Doris ``Toots" McCormick of Murrysville; four grandchildren, Kathleen, Dustin, Evan and Travis Stover; and several nieces and nephews. Harold L. Vough

Harold L. Vough, 92, of Scottdale, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 10, 2001, in his home with his family at his bedside. Harold was born in Connellsville, Aug. 15, 1909, a son of the late Lewis Knopsnyder and Alice Bell Vough. Harold married the former Gladys Inez Worrell on April 15, 1936. Harold retired as lead lineman for West Penn Power Company on Sept. 1, 1971. He had previously been employed at Duke Power Company and the Davey Tree Company. Harold was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Scottdale and was educated in the Connellsville school system. A 32nd degree mason, Harold was a member of the Marion Masonic Lodge 562 of Scottdale. He enjoyed the sport of hunting and the outdoors. Harold is survived by his loving family: his wife of 65 years, Gladys Inez Worrell Vough; his son, Lewis Warren Vough and his friend, Mary Jo Barnes, of Austin, Texas; his daughter, Evelyn Alice (Vough) Stanley and her husband, Jeff, of Williamsburg, Va.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two nieces. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Vough. Elizabeth Wargo, 87, of Warren Center RR1, formerly of North Braddock, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, Oct. 9, 2001, in the Skilled Nursing Unit of Towanda Memorial Hospital. Elizabeth was born Oct. 28, 1913, in brothers Valley, a daughter of the late John and Annie Czecsehovszki Semach. She enjoyed baking and cooking for family gatherings and treasured the time spent with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Wargo, on Aug. 7, 1995; her four sisters, Mary Toth, Vera Babich, Barbara McPeak and Anna Pentack. She is survived by her sons and  daughters-in-law, William and Marlene Wargo of North Huntingdon, John and Sheila Wargo of Old Bridge, N.J., Robert and Brenda Wargo of Warren Center and George and Vickie Wargo of Endicott, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, William and Pam Wargo, Brian and Monika Wargo, Darrin and Sonya Steele, Darcy and Joe Vrabel, Jennifer and Bob Mattocks, Wade Wargo and Wendy Wargo; four great-grandchildren, Bailey Wargo, Logan and Reigan Steele and Justin and Nicholas Joe Vrabel; and several nieces and nephews. Burial be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the family plot in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park cemetery, North Huntingdon. Mr. Wood was a pharmaceutical salesman for Dow Chemical for 37 years and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg, the Greensburg Moose, American Legion Post 981, F&AM Lodge 759 Pleasant Hills-Guthrie, Scottish Rite Lodge Council Chapter Valley of Pittsburgh, Syria Temple, AMVETS Post 88 and VFW Post 33. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served in Europe for two years. He is survived by his wife, Doris Brackett Wood of Greensburg; a son, Christopher J.
