EMILY A. (DOLENSKY) McFADDEN

Emily A. (Dolensky) McFadden, 91, of Greensburg, died Friday, May 19, 2000. She was born March 30, 1909, in Shafton. She was predeceased by her husband, Homer McFadden, in 1965. She is survived by two sons , Homer A. McFadden Jr. of Oriental, N.C., and Robert L. McFadden of Provo, Utah; and a daughter, Emily A. Kelly of Hempfield Township. Further arrangements will be announced by the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin.

AUDREY MURPHY

Audrey Murphy, 76, a 30-year resident of New Kensington, died at 6 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2000, in Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington. She was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Vulcan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dock and Frances Kennedy Murphy. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of the Deaf, Pittsburgh, and of the Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf. Survivors include a sister, Nell Stone of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the JOHN B. GIUNTA FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, where a service will be held at 8:30 p.m. by her pastor, the Rev. Mark Ruppert. Interment will be private.

VERNON P. PAGANO

Vernon P. Pagano, 56, of Florida, formerly of Braddock, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, in the Holmes Regional Medical Center, Florida. He was born Sept. 23, 1943, in Braddock, a son of the late Rocco and Madelyn Douglass Pagano. He was employed as marketing manager for Intersil of Palm Bay, Fla., for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Palm Bay, Fla., and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Pagano of Florida; a daughter, Marie Southwick of San Diego, Calif.; a stepson, Scott Taylor of Savannah, Ga.; a sister, Linda Kolaya of Chicago, Ill.; and two brothers , Dan Pagano of Denver, Colo., and Ray Pagano of Madison, Wis. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment and graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock, with the Rev. John C. Pressler, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2800 Aurora Road, #I, Melbourne, FL 32935-2099.

PAUL E. PARK

Paul E. Park, 86, of Latrobe, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center. He was born April 17, 1914, a son of the late John Park and Kathryn Park. He was a retired supervisor for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, a member of the Latrobe United Presbyterian Church, and was a graduate of St. Vincent College. Paul was a veteran serving in the Army during World War II, and was a member of Loyalhanna Lodge #275 F&AM and the American Legion Post #515. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde E. Park; and a sister, Kathryn C. Park. He is survived by his nephew, C. Roger Park and his wife, Colleen, of Latrobe. Friends received at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, Friday from 6 until 8 p.m., at which time service will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald W. Graff officiating. Interment Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. Masonic funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and a veteran service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Friday, both in the funeral home.

MARY RINALDI PETERS

Mary Rinaldi Peters, 97, a resident of Westmoreland Manor, died Friday, May 19, 2000. She was born Aug. 5, 1902, in Italy, a daughter of the late Carmine and Eufemia Caparosa Salvatore. Mary was a member of the Ascension Church of Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Nick Rinaldi, and her second husband, Fred Peters; three sisters , Pansy Salvatore, Susan Fiorina Capone and Margaret DePonte; and a brother, Joseph Salvatore. She is survived by four sons , Arthur J. Rinaldi and wife, Carmella, Anthony P. Rinaldi, Louis V. Rinaldi and wife, Bea, and James D. Peters and wife, Christine, all of Jeannette; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, beginning Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Ascension Church. Entombment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.

JAMES C. REESE JR.

James C. Reese Jr., 58, of Ruffsdale RD2, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2000, at his home. He was born Feb. 28, 1942, in St. Mary's, W.Va., a son of Georgia Powell Reese of Greensburg and the late James C. Reese Sr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Westinghouse at its Waltz Mill plant as an engineer in the ARD Division, retiring in 1996. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and was also a graduate of the New Mexico State University, where he majored in mechanical engineering. Jim was an avid gardener and loved working his land. He also loved to cycle and spent many hours on the Yough River Trail. In addition to his mother , he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Dora A. Sesti Reese; two stepsons, Charles "Chip" Boucher of Indiana, Pa., and Christopher E. Boucher and his wife, Mary, of Ruffsdale RD2; two grandsons, Bryan James Boucher and Reese Engle Boucher; a brother, Okey L. Reese and his wife, Nina, and their children, Okey M., Natalie and Rebecca, of Greensburg; and a sister, Mary Pro and her husband, Vince, and their sons , David and Michael, of West Chester, Pa. Friends will be received at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James H. Ghrist officiating. Interment will follow on the Reese family farm in South Huntingdon Township.

DELLA LONG ROHRBACHER

Della Long Rohrbacher, 85, a resident of New Haven Court, Greensburg, formerly of Irwin (Buzzardtown), died Friday, May 19, 2000, at home. She was born Nov. 7, 1914, in Arona, a daughter of the late Harry C. and Edna May Miller Long. She was a former cafeteria employee for the Hempfield School District and a member of Brush Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hempfield Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton I. Rohrbacher; a brother, Lewis Long; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Rohrbacher. She is survived by a son, Charles E. Rohrbacher and his wife, Edith, of Pine, Ariz.; a daughter, Janet L. Mills and her husband, Robert, of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Kimberly Delsardo, Scott Mills, Chuck Rohrbacher, Deborah Rohrbacher, Pamela Squillante and Robert Rohrbacher; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Burnell Long of Greensburg. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Brush Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. William L. Hauser officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.

ISABEL CAMPOLONGO RUGH

Isabel Campolongo Rugh, 86, of Greensburg, died Friday, May 19, 2000, in the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center, Hempfield Township. She was born Aug. 5, 1913, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose Cassa Campolongo. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg, the Autumn Leaves and Rosary Confraternity of the church and the B.P.O.E. Ladies Golf League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer G. Rugh, in 1993; and by two brothers , Dominic and Peter Campolongo. She is survived by two brothers , Anthony Campolongo of Greensburg and Robert and his wife, Dorothy Campolongo, of State College; three sisters , Caroline Zambano of Greensburg, Mrs. Alexander (Jessie) Raye of State College and Lucy Nagle of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Catherine Campolongo of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Entombment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hempfield Township.

ROBERT G. SHIREY

Robert G. Shirey, 81, of Ligonier, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at his home. He was born Oct. 26, 1918, in Ligonier Township, a son of the late Lawrence J. and Ruth Nicely Shirey. Bob and his brother, Dean, owned and operated Shirey Farms and the former Shirey Motel in Ligonier. He also was a real estate agent for more than 10 years. Bob served as a Westmoreland County commissioner from 1972-1976. He was a lifetime member, elder, deacon and trustee for the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Ligonier. He served as president and treasurer on the Ligonier Valley School Board for 12 years; former board member and secretary for the Eastern Area Vo-Tech School Board; former chairman, treasurer and secretary for the Ligonier Township Republican Committee; former president of the Bells Protective Association Sportsmen's Club; and he served as Republican chairman for the 59th Legislative District. He was a member of the Ligonier Lodge #331 F&AM and the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Millicent "Millie" Brant Shirey; a daughter, Mrs. Morgan (Mary Louise) Barclay of Elkhart, Ind.; two sons , Robert D. (and wife, George Anne) Shirey of Draper, Utah, and Larry E. (and wife, Georgie) Shirey of Ligonier; grandchildren, Robert, James, Gary and Jessica Shirey, Christopher and Ryan Barclay; and twin great-grandsons, Benjamin and Alexander Shirey; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Fry of Greensburg; a brother, L. Dean (and wife, Barbara) Shirey of Ligonier; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the J. PAUL McCRACKEN FUNERAL CHAPEL INC., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, Sunday from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Ligonier, with the Rev. Robert D. Cummings officiating. Interment in Ligonier Valley Cemetery, Ligonier. Memorial gifts may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church or Ligonier Valley Library. Ligonier Lodge #331 F&AM will hold services in the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

JOSEPH J. SIMA

Joseph J. Sima, 90, of Cinnaminson, N.J., formerly of Hannastown and Jeannette, on Wednesday, May 17, 2000. He was a member of the Hannastown Volunteer Fire Department. Loving husband for 69 years of Mary (nee Humenansky). Dear Father of Dora Mae Piacentino and her husband, Rudolph, of Jeannette, Thomas Sima and his wife, Margaret, of Mountain Top, Pa., Mary Ann Dicken and her husband, Ronald, of Willingboro, N.J., and Barbara Tumolo of Cinnaminson, N.J. Dear grandfather of Debra, Richard, Deanna, Donna, Danielle, Dawn, Kelley, Sean, and Thomas; and great-grandfather of eight. Brother of John Sima of Greensburg. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Mary Sima; and sister, Mary Bolkovac. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. in SNOVER-GIVNISH of Cinnaminson, N.J., 1200 Route 130 North, followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo, New Jersey. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, New Jersey. Viewing will be 7 to 9 Friday evening and 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. LAURA MARSH WENGERT

Laura Marsh Wengert, 87, of Greensburg, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, in the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center, Greensburg. She was born April 18, 1913, in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Frank F. and Mary Lawlor Marsh. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, William W. Wengert Sr.; a brother, Frank Marsh; and four sisters , Mary Louise Goulding, Lillian Marsh, Patricia Saunders and Jean Hindman. She is survived by a son, William W. Wengert Jr. and his wife, Phyllis, of Greensburg; two daughters , Barbara Ann Wengert and Mary Elizabeth Hays and her husband, George, all of Greensburg; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three brothers , William Marsh and his wife, Mary, of Greensburg, Robert Marsh and his wife, Violet, of Greensburg, and Thomas Marsh and his wife, Florence, of Jupiter, Fla. Friends will be received at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Greensburg, with the Rev. Dean A. Davidson officiating. EVERYONE IS ASKED TO PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery. LESLIE J. WHITE

Leslie J. White , of Lakewood, Ohio, died Saturday, May 13, 2000. Beloved husband of Garnett (Foster) White . Dear stepfather of Elaine G. Sample (Gerald) of Greensburg. Loving stepgrandfather of Geralyn Sample of Greensburg and Jacquelyn Sabbe of Brighton, Colo. Also survived by two sisters , Charlotte of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Pearl of Duluth, Minn. In addition to his parents,®MDBO¯ ®MDNM¯he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters . He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea. He was wounded in World War II and received a Purple Heart. He was a POW during the Korean conflict for 28 months. He was also a recipient of the Bronze Star, the Pacific-Asian Theater medal, the United Nations Service medal and the Good Conduct medal. Funeral services were held May 16 at the BUSCH-SAXTON-PARKER-DANIELS FAMILY CHAPEL, 15800 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, Ohio. Interment in the new Western Reserve National military Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakewood United Methodist Church, 15700 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107.

CLARENCE AGNOLUCCI

Clarence Agnolucci, 89, of 115 Vernon Ave., Belle Vernon, died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at 11:59 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. He was born April 29, 1911, in Monessen, a son of the late Andrea and Irene Ricci Agnolucci. He had been a resident of Washington Township for the past 46 years. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council #3026. He had retired as a truck driver from the former Zeffiro Trucking Co. of Donora. Mr. Agnolucci was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post #659 and the VFW Belle Vernon area Post #699. He was a former member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Mary Buxton Agnolucci, to whom he was married for 58 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Joel Mochnally of Paoli, Pa.; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Virginia Agnolucci of Greensburg; a brother, Raymond Agnolucci of Florida; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Clara Pettko of Pittsburgh and Juliette and Joseph DeLuca of Monessen; seven grandchildren, Mary Ellen Mochnally, Joel Thomas Mochnally, Chad Agnolucci, Dena Agnolucci, Dana Agnolucci, Brenda Leuthold, and Dan Pastor; and three great-grandchildren, Lauren Agnolucci, Chad Agnolucci Jr., and Taylor Leuthold. Visitations Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Prayer service Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by Funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Donald P. Trexler, parochial vicar, as celebrant. Interment Belle Vernon Cemetery.
