THE REV. RAYMOND BAKER

The Rev. Raymond Baker, 62, of Ligonier, died Monday, March 6, 2000, at Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe. He was born Sept. 14, 1937, in Paint Township, Somerset County, a son of the late Irvin and Iva Holsopple Baker. He was employed as an electronics engineer for Bio-Control in Indiana, Pa. He was a member of the New Life Community Church in Derry. The Rev. Baker was an ordained nondenominational minister. Ray's life centered around his family, serving his Lord, and living a Godly life. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Ida Mae Watts Baker; three daughters , Mrs. Frederick (Sharon) Langhans of Warrenton, Va., Mrs. Dean (Suzanne) Huval of Scott, La., and Mrs. Marjorie Frost of Seattle, Wash.; two sons , Steven (and wife, Maureen) Baker of Forest Hill, Md., and Scott Baker of Felton, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Fredrick (Linda) Burdt of Livonia, Mich.; three stepsons, Bernard (and wife, Ruby) Houck of Mission Beach, Calif., Steven (and wife, Stacy) Houck of San Clemente, Calif., and Melvin (and wife, Kerry) Machovec of Forest Hill, Md.; and 22 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Baublitz Baker, in 1983; three sisters and two brothers . Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the J. PAUL McCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier. Service will be held in the funeral home Thursday, March 9, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Donn S. Chapman officiating. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, Md. Memorial contributions to the Bethlen Home Activity Fund or Ligonier YMCA.

GEORGE V. BONISTALLI

George V. Bonistalli, 86, of Plum, formerly of Wilkinsburg, died Saturday, March 4, 2000. Husband of the late Ruth Lucille (Hayden). Beloved Father of Mrs. Merrill (Rita C.) Semke. Dear grandfather of Jeffrey and Timothy Semke. Brother of the late Margaret Clarke, Joseph Jr., and Richard Bonistalli. Friends received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at MAURICE L. KNEE LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road, (across from S&T Bank) in Plum. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church. Cathern Jane Border, 59, of Pitcairn, on Sunday, March 5, 2000. mother of Allen K. Border Jr. of North Huntingdon, Brian K. Border of Pitcairn, and Cathy Jane Border of Pitcairn. Sister of Ralph Duane "Duke" Cherry of Delmont. Stepsister of Ralph Cherry Jr. of Export. Grandmother of Kimberly, Kaitlyn, and Michael. Friends received Tuesday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME INC., 318 Wall Ave., Pitcairn, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.

MARY T. BREWER

Mary T. Brewer, 94, of Greensburg, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born June 15, 1905, in Pleasant Unity, a daughter of the late Sandy and Susan Paskey. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Brewer; three brothers , Charlie, John and Joe Paskey; and three sisters , Angie and Terry, and Ann Abraham.®MDBO¯®MDNM¯ Beloved mother of: son, Ralph Brewer Jr. and wife, Mary Ann, of Greensburg, and daughter, Dorothy Reott and husband, Paul, of Irwin; grandmother of Michael, Renee and Michelle Brewer, Joe and Nick Reott and Beverly Null; great-grandmother of Amy, Nick, Mike, Erica, Nicolle, Krista and Jena; sister of Lee Bendle of Monroeville; and also survived by several nieces and nephews. ROBERT R. BROWNE

Robert R. Browne, 78, of Jeannette, died Monday, March 6, 2000, in IHS of Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg. He was born March 18, 1921, in Jeannette, the son of the late Raymond and Isabelle Mansfield Browne. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Robertson Trucking of Jeannette. After retirement, he drove a bus for the Penn-Trafford School District. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Jeannette, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post #344 of Jeannette, and Teamsters Local #30. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred A. Winfield Browne; and a sister, Dolores Boettner. He is survived by his wife, Vera Winfield Browne; a son, Dennis R. Browne of Mechanicsburg; a stepson, Gerald Hare and his wife, Joanne, of Greensburg; two stepdaughters, Nancy Maier and her husband, Joseph, of Penn and Lois Hensell of Adamsburg; six grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Martin R. Koss officiating. Interment with military rites will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The Jeannette Combined Veterans will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. to hold services in the funeral home.

CORRENE FAROUX BUSHEE

Correne Faroux Bushee, 62, of Jeannette, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law in West Chester, Pa., after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Bushee of Green Tree, Pittsburgh, who died in 1969. She was born in Jeannette, a daughter of the late George and Dorothy Gunther Faroux. She was a graduate of Jeannette High School and Robert Morris Business College, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette. She lived the past year in West Chester following surgery. She had been employed at J.C. Penney in Westmoreland Mall. She enjoyed flower gardening and needlework. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Fred McCormick of West Chester; a nephew, Brad McCormick and his family of Severna Park, Md.; an uncle, William Gunther of Jeannette; numerous cousins; and her beloved friend, Joseph Monstrola Sr. of Jeannette. Friends will be received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, with Father James Loew as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson Hospice, 130 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.

MARY JUNE NICHOLSON COLVIN

Mary June Nicholson Colvin, 46, of Sutersville, died Monday, March 6, 2000, in Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Borough. She was born Aug. 3, 1953, in McKeesport, a daughter of Gerald "Bud" and June Thompson Nicholson of Smithdale. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Steve Colvin; a son, Bryan Colvin at home; and a sister, Connie Nicholson of Sutersville. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frederick L. Bauer officiating. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.

DONNA L. (LAWSON) CRAIG

Donna L. (Lawson) Craig, 56, of Bethel Park, died Sunday, March 5, 2000. Beloved wife of 22 years to Charles R. Craig; loving mother of Arthur C. Craig; sister of Arthur T. Lawson of Warren, Kathleen J. Wojcik of Port Vue, Janet L. Slifko of Beaver, and Robert W. Lawson of Liberty Borough. Mrs. Craig was employed by Equibank for 15 years and most recently by X-Mark Industries/ C.D.T. as an office manager. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Road (Route 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church.

MARTIN B. DASDORF

Martin B. Dasdorf, on Saturday, March 4, 2000. Beloved husband of Margaret (Sieg) Dasdorf. Father of Douglas Martin Dasdorf and his wife, Rebecca, and Robert Allan Dasdorf. Brother of Walter Dasdorf and his wife, Ruth. Also a nephew, George Dasdorf Jr., and several other nieces and nephews. Friends received at McCABE BROS. INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martin's name to a charity of your choice.

CHARLES L. DONATO

Charles L. Donato, 79, of Ligonier, died suddenly Sunday, March 5, 2000, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born May 24, 1920, in Latrobe, a son of the late Joseph and Josephine Perino Donato. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Ligonier. He was owner-operator of Donato's Sunoco Service Station for 50 years, until 1998, and had been a foreman for the Pennsylvania Department of Highways in the Ligonier area for many years, until his retirement in 1992. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Donato. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Genevieve Antonio Donato; three daughters , Karen and her husband, Dr. James R. Lynch Sr., of Greensburg, Kathy Ann Donato of Bethesda, Md., and Barbara D. Stonehouse of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren, James R. Lynch Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Twinsburg, Ohio, Rachel Virginia Lynch of Columbus, Ohio, Loren C. Bevevino of Bethesda Md., Amber R. Stonehouse, a student at Georgetown University, and Garrett Stonehouse and his wife, Jodi, of Westport, Conn.; and three precious great-grandchildren, Garrett III, and Cameron and Cayley Stonehouse; and two sisters , Margaret Bates of Ligonier and Rose Arch of Williamsburg, Va. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Ligonier, with the Rev. Joseph P. Maddalena as celebrant. Private interment for the family will be in St. Vincent Cemetery. In his memory, contributions may be made to the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, or the Holy Trinity Church Aid-A-Student Scholarship Program. JANE ELIZABETH ERRETT

Jane Elizabeth Errett, 69, of Irwin, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Edna #2, a daughter of the late Mary J. Lacina Errett. She was a graduate of Irwin High School, class of 1948, and was a R.SS processor at Westinghouse Electric, Semi-Conductor Plant, Youngwood. Survived by a sister, Mary Ann and husband, Harry Walter, of Manor; three nieces, Carol Ann Durst, Linda Walter, and Sandra Mondock; a nephew, Terry Walter; and a great-niece, Joyce Ann Durst, all of Manor. Friends will be received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bernard L. Murphy officiating. Interment Irwin Union Cemetery.

EVELYN M. ERWIN

Evelyn M. Erwin, 92, of Greensburg, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, in Hempfield Manor. She was born Dec. 27, 1907, in Hempfield Township, a daughter of the late Ruben and Carrie Simpson Croushore. She was a member of the First Trinity United Church of Christ in Youngwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Joe" Erwin; a son, Joseph Junior ®MDBO¯®MDNM¯Erwin; six brothers ; and three sisters . She is survived by two sisters , Carrie Stahl of Tampa, Fla., and Ruth Chedrick of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Kim officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. The family wishes memorials to the First Trinity United Church of Christ, Youngwood.

VIOLET E. HART

Violet E. Hart, 74, of Penn Township, died Monday, March 6, 2000, in her home. She was born March 9, 1925, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Eckenrod Gross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Hart Sr., in 1992; and three brothers , Louis Jr., Frank, and Edward Gross. She is survived by two sons , Donald E. Hart Jr. of Penn Township and Ronald E. Hart of Greensburg; a brother, John Gross of Fort Gratiot, Mich.; a sister, Goldie Douglas of Cleveland, Ohio; three granddaughters, Paula VanHoose, Melissa Ray, and Jessica Myers; and two great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Mikala. Friends will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. A. Thomas Heer, 57, of Level Green, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at his home. He was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Braddock, the son of the late Albert and Elva Hartness Heer. He was an employee of the Leese Co. in Greensburg. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Donna Fix Heer; a son, Arron ®MDBO¯®MDNM¯Thomas Heer of Altoona; a daughter, Amy Heer of South Carolina; and a sister, Cathy Heer of Greensburg. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME, 429 Duquesne Ave., Trafford, (412) 372-3111.
